“I would totally recommend this treatment, its the little things that make the difference, getting up in the middle of the night and can see, getting your hair done and being able to see your doo without putting back on the specs to inspect you hair or even lounging on the sofa at night time and not squishing your glasses onto your face. Bar all the little things its amazing not have to wear glasses full time the qualitiy of life for me has totally improved and I feel like a new person.”

“I was extremely nervous of this treatment but something i have wanted and thought about a few years. the staff couldnt have been any kinder, and the actual surgery was not painful at all and i was talked through it all as it happened which helped. I would recommend this to anyone and have been since i got it done.”

“The initial pain exprienced with LASEK is not the best of expriences, but once your eyes heal, it feels like a different world, freedom from glasses and contact glasses. This is even more obvious when you go o holiday such as the beach, and don't have to swim blind! Optical Express have been very helpful and informative on the healing process of my eyes and I feel confident that I chose the right place to get my eyes done.”

“Anxiety around surgery is unsettling and pain shortly after surgery and the next day was something I wasn't prepared for. However now on the other side of it with my new dramatically improved vision just think it's amazing how I can see clearly now and I don't take my new eyes for granted. Feel so grateful the surgery was such a success and very happy I no longer have to wear glasses or fiddle around with contacts. It's just wonderful to have these new eyes. It feels absolutely amazing and so wonderful. I'm still in shock to be honest adjusting to life without corrective lenses.”

“Although an uncomfortable proceedure, it was over so quickly it was worth it for the out-come. My vision 1 month on is better than 20/20. A little dry eye discomfort some mornings, but I would recommend the surgery in a heart beat. Customer service and after-care have been excellent and could not be faulted. Many thanks”

“laser eye surgery has completely changed my life, the difference is staggering. i feel more energetic in day to day life and find concentrating in lectures and teaching sessions a lot less tiring. the initial few days of discomfort were well worth it!”

“I have been wearing glasses since I was about 7 years of age and this is nearly all of my life as I am now 35 years of age. I found it to be frustrating wearing glasses and naturally this time of year as winter starts to set in, there would be a problem with misting up when entering my home from outside. I feel that the laser surgery that I have had has severely improved the quality of life and I am now able to enjoy a lot more sports and acitivites than before, such as swimming, climbing and martial arts. These sorts of things would have been difficult in the past as I would have had to have prescription goggles or sports frames to participate in these activities. Although the initial surgery was painfull, more than I expected, I feel that it was worth it and I would recommend it to anyone who is in a similar position to how I was pre surgery. Also financially, although the cost of the surgery was significant. I anticipate that over the next 3-5 year period, I will recover the cost as I no longer need to invest in glasses or the expensive lenses.”

“After feeling quite nervous at the thought of laser surgery, i can't believe how painless the surgery and experience was. All Optical Express staff have been fantastic and reassuring and the surgery itself was over in a matter of minutes. I've worn glasses for most of my life and since the surgery my quality of life has increased tremendously. I would like to thank everyone from the reception staff to the aftercare staff for making the experience easy and painless.”

“Three months after the surgery my vision has greatly improved. Now knowing that one of my eyes is 20-20 means I'm very close to achieving my goal of perfect vision. The dryness I experienced has almost gone and my need for the eye drops has been much less. I'm hoping in a months time both my eyes will be 20-20 and that will be a great feeling.”

“I was very shortsighted and had worn glasses since I was 12. I had always thought of having laser eye surgery and when two of my friends both raved about Optical Express, I went to check it out and was really happy with the information provided. I decided to go ahead with surgery and it has completely changed my life, I now have better than 20/20 vision and have never looked back! Everyone at Optical Express was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend them.”

“I had LASEK surgery as I was not getting clear vision with contact lenses and didn't want to have to wear glasses all of the time. Since having the surgery I have got married and been on honeymoon and it was fantastic being able to do whatever I wanted without having to wear glasses.”

“The staff are very friendly and reassuring. The nature of the surgery meant that I was very nervous however all worries were dealt with by the team with professional knowledge and a kind caring manner. I now have better than 20/20 vision and I can now do all the things I wanted to do without the need for glasses hidering my ability to perform in sports and many other activities. I have more confidence as a result of the surgery and am able to see life with a new and invigorating perspective. I would definitely recommend Optical Express to my family and friends.”

“I couldn't believe the results from the minute after my surgery and i still can't believe them now. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and being able to see clearly. Being able to go to the gym or out with friends without worrying about contact lenses. Everything seems brighter and better now and I wouldn't hesitate for one minute in suggesting to friends and family to have laser surgery done. Truly life changing experience and i keep waiting to wake up from the dream of being glasses free.”

“Before I was so short sighted that I could not function without glasses. There was so many things I wanted to do but could never do. With the worry that things might become worse I decided to have laser eye surgery. When I sat up from the operating table and saw the clock on the other side of the room I knew my life was to begin again. On my to do list is to buy a car after 15 years, do a parachute jump and get the job I really want because I have the confidence to do what I want to do now that my eyes see perfectly.”
