Batteries for the vest seem to last only about one season, at best. That's pretty poor perfomance for a battery these days.

The neck section is sufficient for heat. However the pockets and lower back are extremely weak. My expectation was for a better product for the money.

AlthoughI basically like the Ororo products, this is the second jacket that I had to buy because the first one , a small, was too small. I have another Ororo jacket and vest that a small fits generously. The website shows a model who is 5'6" and weighs 125 lbs. I am 5'2" amd weigh 115. I bought the first one on sale so it is non returnable. If your sizing was more acurate I would not be stuck with a jacket that I can't wear. Also I had to buy this second jacket because the first one I bought is only 2 years old and the zipper is broken. I took it to Rainie Pass repair( the busiess that REI uses and recommends for repair) and they installed a new slider ( for free) but noted that the zipper itself is flattened and the new slider progbably will not work.

the vest becomes too warm. even on low heat. unfortunately when the vest is turned off then my back is chillded. the battery pak is very very heavy and i find the design too bulky

I have an Ororo vest and wanted to buy heated gloves, so I ordered gloves using the sizing chart. The gloves are way too small for my hands. Unfortunately, I removed all the tags before I tried them during the recent snow storm so I cannot return them. I was able to put them on, but only with great difficulty. I had to remove the battery to put them on. They did keep my fingers warm, but it took a lot of effort to take them off. I wasted over $100. Perhaps I can give them to my grandson. I caution buyers when using the sizing chart.

I used the vest 4 times last winter and it worked great. This winter the battery won't hold a charge and it's out of warranty. New battery is over $50. The AI customer service was no help. No thanks.

Very disappointed in this product. The vest is fine and does everything it needs to do for me. However, the two stars is because of the battery. It is poor to put it kindly. It takes forever to charge (more than overnight) and then only works for a few hours. Tough to like if you can only use a product for a few hours a day, but need it for like 6-7 hours. Because of this, it will be tough for me to recommend this to others.

Battery has no life and takes forever to charge . The vest itself is nice . I do not recommend .

Sizing info unreliable (socks). Was granted an “exception” to exchange but I had to pay for shipping both ways. The size chart they published was clearly inconsistent with the product they produce. I’m a size 11 and correctly ordered size L. The socks I received would’ve been appropriate for someone with size 14-15 feet. Despite it being their error, I was supposed to be grateful they allowed me to exchange and pay for shipping.

The heated gloves are no where near warm enough to be used for skiing when temperatures are below 20 degrees F. The heating elements work but there is not enough insulation to keep my hands warm. Also the sizing runs very small. On the positive side my heated vest is Excellent

The zippered pocket broke after a few times wearing the jacket and customer service never responded to my many inquiries very disappointed me and mine won't be returning customers

I received my heated vest and the battery was faulty.i called customer service and they didn’t help me one bit. I had to order a new battery and it cost me $70 through Amazon. Not happy at all about this.

Ororo charges for return shipping if they send a defective product. This should be free as part of the warranty.
