About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I recently purchased an outside LED caravan light. The product took some time to come, longer than I believe it should have. When it arrived one of the brackets was broken. I decided not to return the product as I needed the light for installation. Ended up repairing the bracket with glue”

“Not real happy had a parcel lost in the post not your fault But it is very hard to get through on the phone and still waiting for me parcel I ordered it on the 3/2/23”

“Items as described once correctly delivered. Wrong item sent a phone call to them resulted in prepaid mail slip parcel taken to local post office and corrected item delivered a bit over a week later.”

“I was very happy with my product but disappointed with the delivery time. I placed my order on 22/1/23 & didn't receive the order until 3/2/23. We had already left to go on holiday & needed what was in the order.”

“Bought an item , which could have got virtually anywhere , thought close by , support local business, be fast delivery, it took 8-9 days to get it off the shelf n' book it in , 2 weeks plus , set us back on project, no problem we'll take yr $$$, just sit n' wait to you fall asleep, can't rate a business on the ability to have a website at minimum, it may not be the owners but it Some don't give a hoot basically. Item cane eventually as expected , price was as other's had .”

“Product was good , ordered took 4 days before it was freighted by Aramex from brisbane to perth, took 4 weeks, slowest freight company, need to review who they send parcels with. Had other parcels in a week or 2.”

“Ordered a 12V ceiling fan before going on holiday. Allowed nearly 2 weeks to have it arrive, also paid extra for express post just to be sure. Nothing noted when ordering that the product was actually out of stock. Had to follow up myself, I called to see why my order hadn't been dispatched to be told there was no stock. Finally arrived 2 days AFTER we had already left on holiday. If I had known there was no stock, I would have taken different action to make sure we had it prior to leaving, as it was quite hot. As it was, ended up buying a small fan on the way to help with the heat.”
