About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Quality of product was acceptable. Price was very good. The cable was too short to go around the battery. Now the cable sits on top of the fuse box. Not ideal.ñ Flexible type cable expected, stiff one received. The lug on the cable provided didn't fit the isolator connection bolt. I had to make the hole bigger to fit. The isolator mounting slotted hole was slightly too small for standard (I think M8) bolt holes that come with Japanese cars in the engine bay.”

“I followed the instructions for picking up an online order by going in to the shop, and then I was referred to the collection area where there was one other couple waiting. We sat there for over half an hour and were not even acknowledged. Another customer came over and was served immediately. When we questioned it, we were told there were no orders for the 2 of us. Both of us were served by the same young gentleman in the shop. ... This is constructive criticism and a suggestion maybe review your procedures for this process.”
