About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

Everything was great except the delay in dispatch and delivery and lack of notifications for tracking once dispatched. I would still make future purchases from Outback Equipment though.

Hi Outback Equipment, Some honest feed back for my latest purchase . I’m now happy with my products from you guys. At first I was disappointed with the first contact after buying online and noticed that my product wasn’t sent until 1 week later, only to take 20 days from date of purchase to delivery to my house in Perth WA. Most other 4x4 companies can deliver products within a maximum of 12 days, usually 6-8 days. However after several phone calls and talking with staff I finally have all products and I’m happy….. I do like your online products and would love to continue to buy gear online from time to time. All I could say is if the company can speed up the delivery from purchase day and delivery time frame all would be good.😃👍 Kind regards, Pete.😃

I bought a Tuff Terrain Rock Hard Awning for my Toyota Prado Landcruiser, it’s great looking gear, well constructed and easy to install and use. It was a smooth and fast transaction with Outback Equipment. Also, bought Tuff Terrain deflators, well constructed and easy to use.

Yet to install the water tank sensors, but when the package arrived the boxes were poorly protected and looked liked they had been previously opened.

Products were generally ok, chair already has a bit fallen off the foot. 3 and a bit week delivery to suburban Adelaide... and sent in different lots, second tracking number not provided until a call was made to check up, but guy on phone was good. If you need stuff for a set date order accordingly

The products are as described. However, getting your order is another story. Placed my order and waited a week to see if there were any delivery updates. Ended up phoning them after a week and was told, "O, I can see your items are all in stock, I'll send this through to get picked and shipped". This was a week after the order was placed! If I didn't follow up, I'd love to know if this order would ever have been processed. It then took just over a week to be packed, processed, and delivered... from Brisbane to Brisbane.... so almost 2 and a half weeks from time of order to delivery for a set of radios and tyre deflators...
