About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Customer service was excellent but not happy with the turn around of my product I had it in the mail the following day but I’m still waiting to receive it so not happy on the dispatch side Tom in customer service was very good the rest of the team let him down Thanks Robert Doherty”

“If you want a runaround for a month over a warranty then tell me it’s got to go to a repair agency, get real! I answered all your question and follows up several times! Item lasted 2 days and failed on second trip! Should be a simple replacement not a fu#k around!! First and last time purchasing any products off your pathetic excuse for a business! Don’t worry I will tell all. It’s going to cost you more than my loss!”

“The system principle is good. But it doesn’t get rid of all the smell, additive is required. It’s very expensive for what it is.”

“The 300w solar panel I purchased is fantastic and does the job very well. However my delivery which came from Perth in 4 days sat at the depot in Rockhampton for 6 days before it was delivered by the freight company . It did arrive in good condition considering how far it travelled .”
