About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Great service and products , only let down was the couriers , I requested on my order form not to use Aramex as they were taking 4-6 weeks to Australia post 1 week . Then called them to confirm - all good , BUT got my dispatch email to find they used Aramex , luckily Thomas got it sorted straight away . Thanks guys will buy again”

“purchased a footwell water tank plus the hose fitting. When you purchase the hose fitting this needs to come with all the extra fittings which they don't. everything is an extra. When you pay this much for this sort of gear the fittings should be included within the price. If you're not going to do that then clear links for what is required should be displayed with the necessary items.”

“7 weeks ago ordered a caravan lock.money taken and email advising that product dispatched has been received. A week or so later rang office to say product has not arrived. A check by your staff advised me that product not in stock and unable to advise when will be received and dispatched. My issue is the initial email was completely wrong. I was not advised of the delay and todate have still not received the product and have not heard from your office .Happy to grab my moneyt with no effort to keep me in the loop”

“I have been getting my 4WD/Camping gear through Outback Equipment in the last few years. They are reliable, use reliable carriers, the AUSTRALIAN Post most of the time which is so convenient. They carry a variety of brand names and are helpful and efficient when ever something goes wrong with the order.”

“Love the bag and straps BUT, the plastic side release buckles are horrible quality I have broken one already. It's a Pity that such an awesome bag could be rendered useless by the Cheap fittings. I have retrofitted the bag with alternate fittings and it has so far performed fantastically. 5 stars for the bag ZERO stars for the buckles!”

“I’ll start with the good news Once I finally received the Camec floor mat on the day I was leaving for a camping trip, the product seems very good Now the bad news Ordered product on the 26/1/22 Finally turns up 4/3/22 Pretty much got no info on where the product was. Rang 3 times and was told we’ll get back to you but no one ever did. Was eventually told on my last phone call, we are checking with courier company and we think the product has been lost and may have to resend it. Will think twice about using your company again!!”
