“Disappointed with boots I purchased. I have Pajar down filled parka since a few years and like it so when I saw these winter Chelsea slip on boots for 115$ CAD at Winners decided to try them. Very glad I didn't pay the full 240$ that they are worth on Pajar website or other shoe stores. Was happy to support local Montreal based company too. But sadly very disappointed I think they are very overpriced. First they are a bit narrow they should have a wide option for people with wide feet. But that's ok not all boots fit well with all people and they break in. The most disappointing is that although they are rated for -30° celsius they are Not warm, just wear them at -5° for work Christmas party at restaurant and got cold feet walking there. I already had winter hiking boots 200g Primaloft insulation that are worth a bit less, rated pretty much the same -32° and never get cold feet with them plus much more comfortable. I wanted something more urban looking than hiking boots for more formal dressed occasions. These are fine looking for that but really not that warm as advertised and leather seems very thin. I guess they can be ok for getting in and of a car to go places but not good for longer walking in winter outdoors.”

“If I could give my experience 0 stars I would! Beware of online purchases and returns. First, you can never speak with anyone on the phone, nor do they return your calls. Secondly, getting anyone to respond to your emails is also a joke. They send an automatic response saying they received your email, then maybe a week later a person actually may respond, but don't hold your breath. I'm still awaiting an email response to an email sent 2/14/24!

“Terrible customer service. Be aware they do not provide return labels, you must pay for return shipping and it is expensive. Still no refunds. Called and left 2 voice messages no one called back. Sent over 6 emails to request a return label for my 2 items no response and no acknowledgment. Although I used to like their products, this horrible customer service is definitely a trigger for me not to buy from them anymore. Now i am stuck with 2 items that don't fit cannot exchange or return so that they can refund me. they just don't respond! it is not worth it!”

“All I can say is if you are thinking of purchasing something from this company DON’T! I wish I had read the reviews prior to buying a pair of boots. The boots did not fit so I returned them. I followed all of their instructions for returning. After not hearing back for several weeks I contacted them. Got an “auto reply” stating that they would look into it. It’s now been over a month and I still only get the same auto-reply for my inquiry as to where my refund is. I have never had such a terrible experience with a return. I did everything according to their instructions but cannot get my money back. The boots I returned were $400! Their products are expensive so beware if you are thinking of buying from them. I would recommend looking elsewhere!!!”

“My first Pajar was bought at my local Value Village. Some lady was trying it on and it didn’t fit her. With one single touch, I can tell the quality of this coat. I was lucky that the coat fits me perfectly. I fall in love with Pajar coat at the first touch and I have bought another 2 since then. The quality of workmanship is amazing. I love the little details such as the button closure slits on the sides for comfort sitting in the car. The deep hoodie that protects the face from rain and snow. The strong double zipper that opened the lower part of the jacket. Good length of the sleeves with thumb hook. All these details are the prove of high quality and well made jacket.”

“I bought the Pajar boots in an outdoor store in Vermont. They were expensive, but I was ok with the price. Initially, I really liked the look and uniqueness. However, after wearing them for just one season, they started leaking in the toe. My sock was wet in just a few minutes. This was not a puncture and was clearly an issue with the seams. I reached out to the company online and they refused to address my concern and were down right dismissive. Don't buy these products. I will stick to Patagonia and Arcteryx who have excellent no questions asked return policies. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that value their customers more than Pajar. Lesson learned.”
“I purchased a pair of men’s boots in November of 2023. After wearing them a few times the pull on the back tab broke off. I contacted Pajar, who in the beginning were moderately helpful. They offered me a full refund or exchange. I took the refund. The boots were recieved by Pajar on January 22, 2024. It is now March 28, 2024 and I have not been refunded. I have been told it’s with accounting and I’ll receive an email when it’s processed. The dismal customer service and return process is the worst I have ever experienced. If my money is not returned soon I will dispute the charge on my credit card through their fraud department.”
