“Quality is excellent here but I think I would enjoy having the opportunity to choose the box each month instead of having a surprise.”

“Overall disappointed. Too many art prints, not enough usable items. It seems the awesome boxes of old have been replaced by boxes full of useless fillers.”

“I feel like the quality of the items in the boxes has decreased with the last couple of boxes, but I still enjoy receiving my monthly box! Hopefully better things to come next year!”

“I loved the art work, but I keep feeling the disconnect between what people can use the most of and what you all produce. Notepads take forever to go through, whereas greeting cards and stationery can afford to sit around or be sent and then they're used. Also, the stationery constantly is labeled with phrases or "happy birthday" or other things that make them extremely hard to use. Let the beautiful artwork from artists be the star of the show! I don't want to be limited to how I can use things...”

“Normally I would give 5 stars but the last three boxes have been very disappointing. There seems to be less items in each box every month. However I do like the designs and the few items that have been in the boxes. I would like to see more letter writing materials and maybe some kind of Filofax and associated items or a full year diary instead of planners”

“Lots of ‘to do’ lists, lots of pencils and note books. I’ve emailed to try and cancel and didn’t get a reply, every time I try to cancel online it’s so hard to find where I can do this, I’m just getting annoyed now at a company I used to like”

“After Brexit, the boxes ARE NOT delivered to my mail box anymore. I have to pick up every single one of them from the post office. Also there are extra customs charges which are not reflected on the price on the website. Some items also repeat too much and the tiny post-it tabs have horrible glue, doesn’t stick to anything so they’re basically inusable. Other than that I love the product, makes me happy to have a monthly surprise box to pamper myself and feed my stationery addiction.”

From the 1st of October 2021, all orders shipped into the EU have their duties and taxes paid in advance by Papergang. “I think my disappointment stems from not understanding what I was buying into. I thought there would be cards - not just pads of paper and planners. The quality is good but I would not recommend it as I don't know anyone who might want this. I am saving the item to give as gifts when I don't have anything else.”

“There are several deliveries that are just amazing and you can really see the value for your money. Others are not quite the same. I would say it depends on how much and how frequently you use your stationary as some of them can be quite repetitive from box to box”

“I used to love Papergang but recently the artists styles that they are choosing are not to my style at all! A lot of it isn't really art at all, just block colour shapes. I have far too many planners now and I've never used any of the page tabs. So most of the boxes goes unused because I either don't like it, don't need it or don't have a used for it. The quality is always good though. I would like to see more letter sets and cards or something more out of the box!”

“Loved this box, enjoyed the colouring sheet but so faint almost impossible to see the numbers and so made a massive error and ruined it. Quality of the stationary was good.”

In this case, the numbers on the sheet needed to be quite faint so as not to show after the colouring had been completed. “I love receiving the boxes each month and absolutely LOVED the colour by number & pen set this month! Please make this a regular thing, with a range of felt tip/pencil colours. I also love the look of the outside of the planners, but I have never used them because I only use ‘week to view + notes’ style of planner. This is such a shame because the covers always look nice, but I’ve got a stack of planners going unused and it’s making it hard to justify the subscription! It would also be nice to have more calligraphy pieces. I got the IllyBoo design box with the ink pen, & I thought it would come with a practise book, but it was just another planner/notebook, which was disappointing. Overall, I really enjoy the designs of the boxes, but feel like the content could be a bit more varied.”
