“Crooks, BE CAREFUL months after losing my parcel with no return nor refund, they took abusively 40 pounds from my
PayPal for so called taxes on a lost parcel? DO NOT USE !”
“Dropped my parcel at the collection point 1.5 hours before the cut off time. The website stated it would be a next day delivery.
After several emails with FedEx and Parcel Compare (it is impossible to actually speak to someone) the parcel arrived 10 days late. My tracking showed it still at the collection point for 10 days.
I am not entitled to a refund because I didn't select the guaranteed next date service.
WHAT A PILE OF NONSENSE. I AM NOT AN IDIOT. I KNOW WHAT THE WEBSITE STATED - NEXT DAY. 10 DAYS IS A DISGRACE.
I cannot believe you think you should be paid for this appaling service.”
“Stay away, such a scam..
We used this service to send our clothes from the UK to Italy. The parcel got stuck in customs because the company failed to provide the necessary documents. We were charged a high customs fee, despite being exempt from the tax as long-term UK residents and EU citizens. The parcel company should have asked us to fill out a form prior to shipment, as all the other providers did (we sent several other boxes without any issues).
We couldn’t resolve the issue with DPD, as ParcelCompare was listed as the customer. We had to request that ParcelCompare return the parcel. Their customer service was completely unhelpful; the representative knew nothing about the process and failed to warn us about the extra charges for returning the parcel. In the end, they withdrew money from our bank account without our consent.
I am currently working with my bank to recover the money they wrongfully took. This company should be held accountable by the FCA. They should not be allowed to operate, as their practices violate consumer rights.”
“Absolutely terrible company… they charged me more than double the price because they claimed my package was 4cm longer than stated which is a complete lie… absolute scammers, would not recommend”
“Sent two parcels with them on a 24hr next day service, after 5 days neither had been collected from the drop off shop, I had to go down to the collection shop, re-collect my parcels and deliver them 15 miles away to Fedex directly (in my own time and at my own cost) too get any kind of service, meaning both parcels were a week late, asked for a refund and was told no, as the parcels had been delivered (A WEEK LATE, AND ONLY AS ID MOVED THEM FOR THEM!) SCAM COMPANY, SHADY PRACTICES, AVOID AVOID AVOID”
“DO NOT USE - They charge you after delivery without telling you for apparently being oversized or overweight. When I challenged this with the photos of the parcel before I sent it on our scales and with a tape measure next to it proving the size, I was then told it was for using too much packing tape HAHAAH what a joke. Please see the image of the parcel in question, it was taped on the side to seal the box shut. This company does this every time. Kevin is the only one who seems to work there as he has replied to me every time I have challenged a charge for the last 2 years - He must be ashamed to work for such a scamming company. He just replies with standard pre-written responses and ignores most your questions. When you ask for evidence or proof you get a vague response which is generally along the lines of 'we can't share that information with you'. Use parcel2go or transglobalexpress instead to book your parcels. I use them everyday and never had an issues with extra charges.”
“They charged me £85 fined for they say was oversized parcel and won't give me evidence they say get onto parcel force and parcel force say it's not them.
SAY WELL AWAY And Spread the word con merchant”
“Are they thieves or just incompetent. I think the former.
I recommend that you don't use this company, but if you do, photo your parcels on scales.
Be prepared they will just take additional money from your bank with no authorisation or explanation”
“Shocking avoid these fools! I sent a parcel weighing less than 10g and 4cm square and they took 10 days longer than stated to deliver it and then claimed it was heavier and bigger than specified which I could only add as up to 1kg and 20cm square! They then forced me to pay £1.88 but charged another £4.00 admin cost! Avoid them at all cost they then wasted my time with multiple stupid emails from poorly trained script copy and paste operatives. Terrible organisation don't make the same mistake I did go direct to the couriers they used they are a broker and a bad one at that too.”
“DO NOT USE, WARNING, Parcel never delivered, not refunded and months later abusively charged me 40 pounds for taxes on the missing parcel!!! I did not know they could just take money from my PayPal account without my permission! 🤯🤬”
“Useless B's they arranged to send a parcel for me to Thailand quoting about a week on 19th August £125 for the privilege via UPS - there was a problem with customs which I am powerless to resolve because UPS say Parcelcompare are the shipper not me
The parcel is still not delivered and you cant make contact with a human to resolve - have to wait while UPs and Parcelcompare swap notes”
“AWFUL experience. Driver refused collection of parcel. Reason given was that it should've been booked through Fedex UK not Fedex International (but it was booked Fedex UK, as the label clearly stated).
As a result, the next day service I booked is now arriving a day late. Company unwilling/unable to expedite the service or make amends in any way. I was told a manager would contact me to explain but 3 days later I'm still waiting to hear from them.
I'm sorry but this is meant to be a next-day service, I can't wait days for you to sort out your mess.”
“Avoid at all costs. This company is a total ripoff. As a business I recently sent a parcel to USA and was quoted £340. They told me Ihad calculated the dimensions wrong and charged a further £960 on my card without asking. I mean what sort of miscalculation do dimensions could I have made to warrant the total charge changing from £340 to £1300 in total? I could have flown to the USA and hand delivered the parcel myself. Never was I asked if I wanted to proceed which of course I wouldn’t have as I have now lost all of this money on the transaction. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”
“I had bad experience with parcel compare they never went to collect the parcel an charged me and never refunded the money and no customer service number to complain”
“Organised theives/criminals in my opinion. 2 months after FedEx delivered my goods, parcel compare deducted money from my bank account on account of additional weight. But FedEx confirmed that the weight given by me was correct. So my bank initiated a pre-arbitration case against them. Waiting for results. Don't give in. Fight for your case.”
“Avoid at all cost.
1. Did not turn up for collection
2. 3 months after delivery which was fully paid for in full, they took money out of my account without permission. For a audit. WTF . They keep your payment details so I had to change my bank card
3. It's a complete Con”
“Never use one of these services for parcels. Parcel can be lost by the drop off point, the drop off company, the courier or ParcelCompare and trying to get compensation means a daily email trail over two weeks which is still going on. In our case ParcelCompare lost our parcel. All we are claiming for is the cost of postage £7.61 and the cost of the items in the parcel of £15.69 - the most expensive single item costing £5.70. We completed the ParcelCompare claim form which makes no mention of receipts and sent it in. This is not enough of course. Endless emails later and they are now demanding RECEIPTS including for items like 2 packets of sweets costing £5! No doubt next they will need a DNA sample to prove who we are because we have been so cheeky as to ask for £22.82 to cover the cost of the postage and items in the parcel THEY LOST - it is not even as though we are asking for the maximum £50!!!
The worst thing is that the parcel was for a child about to undergo cancer treatment to cheer them up during a hospital stay. ParcelCompare are beyond contempt.”
“Shocking service, needed to send an urgent parcel, clicked the first link on Google, almost £30 for 9am next day delivery and 3 days later still not delivered, after checking the parcel force website the same service would have been £10 cheaper, advice always check the proper company website first”
