Absolutely SHOCKING customer service!!!! Don't use them for pet insurance because they WILL NOT pay out and they will not help you with any of it. It has been 4 months since my claim and I have spoken to numerous people over the phone to be told different things each time. I was promised calls on certain dates at certain times to which I did not hear back. They ignore your emails because they cannot be bothered to deal with you.

PDSA Edinburgh After rushing in my beloved Bordeux on early hours Wednesday they were great ( vets for pets I believe ) charged £130 told to take him back during day day which I did and we're great stating what was wrong & his quality of life and do I won't to put him down now , I ask is he suffering they said not on pain killers but bladder could bust as not peeing I've probley easy spent £600 + since Wednesday morning with visits but my lad is worth every penny ! Friday I was told he was coming in be put down which agreed , I spoke to vet states how he was ie no pain peeing and happy just to be at home around his family and wanted to give him his bucket list which she agreed too I arranged for check up @ 16:30 kept waiting until 17;30 then met with a rude girl who said muzzel him the said he tried to bite her after she went to his bum , well sorry but he does that with me , since when is a dog's bladder checked on there rear !! Top it off she started to rattle off about contacting SSPCA , remember I am standing there in tears in my works uniform which tell her I ain't no scum or daft guy ( blue light ) I removed my dog he's been home since checked by local vet taken off methadone and put on other pain killer and understanding if he starts to go down hill they will come out and put him down if needed To add insult part of my bill paid on every visit states phone consultation @ £40 even though am actually in the place No communication between notes and staff , last girl delt with even the other staff member looked at her in disgust with her comments My local vet is cheaper and had only wished I had read the reviews Do not use what I thought was a charity and would give best care While some staff good others a complete let down , if I was to turn up to road accident or fire and give options on the people I would soon be out a job !! Will I ever use them again NEVER !!

Bournemouth branch. I have a 3 month old puppy, presenting some severe symptoms and he was given steroids without an investigation to diagnosis. I've been twice and both times I've heard were a charity we don't investigate that. Not sure if it's covid and funding has been pulled on everything. The vet looked into his ears, did a swab, But After coming out he was yelping in pain and couldnt walk, I had to carry him, he couldn't drink or eat with out screaming. I called them up and they said he's probably sensitive after looking in his ears. Well I had the same examination a a private vets and he didn't have the same reaction. He needs stomach and skin investigations but 'its a Charity' and got fobbed off. Steroids made no difference. Also no vaccines or nueturing services. So I guess that just leaves life threatening emergencies or will you will you get a 'were a charity we don't do that' or it's time to put him down? I'm frustrated that there isn't help for people who are disabled and can't work because knowing what I know now I probably wouldn't have got an animal knowing vet costs are so high. I have low cost insurance and just hope that will cover everything though it probably won't.

Seems to care for the Vet more than your Pet. The Bournemouth branch couldn’t help me and my dog today. No vaccinations at present, which leave pets vulnerable and owners anxious about taking there dogs out. I think that a prevention is better than cure policy should be in place for pets. And wanting to charge £10 for cutting two dew claws is surly not what the PDSA is about. I’m unable to work due to Corona virus, fit the criteria for help and hoped that a little help and support would be available here but obviously not. I would not donate to them given the opportunity.

PDSA online shop. Only form of contact is e-mail. What is the point when no one responds to the e-mails. Thought I would support PDSA and placed an order, sent an e-mail a few days later asking for estimated time of arrival as I was running very low on my dogs joint care tablets and NOTHING back from you. Won’t be using you again and wouldn’t recommend to friends and family.

The insurance company PDSA use is a RIP OFF, and you only discover after submitting your claim. PDSA are nothing more than brokers and contacting the insurance company, and complaining about why they didn't pay the claim in full, they tell you that they will investigate and get back to you, but Never Do.

I'm a single man whos home went on fire trapping my two cats inside.so I was homeless had no possessions left and cats were took to pdsa Fri 17th. they knew I was homeless and was on benefits which paid taxi fares to and from pdsa.they treatment was great toward my animal's but then they hit me with a £600 bill reduced to £360.where was a person on benefits with no cash or home to find that kind of money. every one was talking about it being a charity. so where do this charity money go if they ask for hundreds of pounds from poor disabled ppl on benefits. I have nothing and still they insisTed it gets paid.in lost all my money everything. so just won't be going back. what a disgrace they can't even have payment plans. I'm discussed.
