“For years I'd go to Peet's for a cup of coffee. The coffee was too strong for me so I requested 2/3 coffee, 1/3 water. I 'd add my milk and it was perfect. As of late the brewed coffee is weak beyond measure. It has no coffee flavor whatsoever. Quality has decreased while prices have increased.”

“Gone downhill. Had a subscription for a few years. Every 2 weeks. It was great but Lately it’s hit and miss. They don’t have the bean they promised, they Charge me but don’t deliver, don’t respond to customer service emails. Something has changed at Peets. Not as good and reliable as they used to be. I’ll probably cancel my subscription and go local.”

“I have bought two packs of 5 gift cards at costco. The online system for using them was basicly impossible to use. It started deducting balances without applying it to my order. Unless you have an extra hour or two I would not try to use Peet's online ordering system.”

“Amazing coffee I had the caramel macchiato and it was delicious. Great service and amazing staff I was served by Mohi Mark and Shaina and they were very friendly attentive and approachable.”

“What has happened to PEETS! I’ve been a faithful Major Dickasons customer for years. One bad bag or box didn’t stop me … two didn’t, I even blamed it on the coffee pot, tried another pot. Now I’m stuck with 40 pods and TWO bags ( fresh till 6/25) with absolutely NO TASTE! Sadly I will not be buying Peet’s again.”

“I have been ordering Peets for years yet the delivery is extremely long to receive the coffee. Not only that but their Mocha Java tasted terrible and not at all the fresh tasting in the past. Shipping must change or I simply won’t order ever again. It’s ridiculous and not the 2-6 window!”

“Pete’s has seemingly hamstrung their local managers by eliminating their ability to issue credit when a pound of beans is purchased at a store but the customer does not need the cup of coffee offered at that moment. I was told that even if I had a smart phone, this rebate could only occur on line. Drink your free coffee now or forget it.”

“After I have had several (42 count boxes of Peets Coffee) I grabbed a cup of coffee and wanted to read the reviews as I was just curious to see if other coffee drinkers have had the same experience as I have. I will admit I am shocked to see so many negative comments. I have enjoyed coffer for over 50 years now, and I have tried them all. My experience with Peets is one of total satisfaction. I choose Major Dickson's (pods). Reminds me of a cup of Cuban coffee I would get when I am in the Keys. It's bold yet smooth flavors are enjoyable anytime of day with no bitter aftertaste. Just a great cup of coffee every time I really enjoy Major Dickson's coffee with cigars! The combination between the two really enhances the flavors together. Yes, I can (and do) have a Bourbon with my cigars but given a choice I grab a cup of Peets and sit down to enjoy! On those occasions where I run out of my coffee, my wife will kindly pick a different band up for me. I typically go thru 2-3 cups and realize that for me coffee is a luxury. A way to relax, so I make my own coffee run. There are so many different coffee company's out there to choose from, but for my money I choose Major Dickson's to enjoy every time. For those who's experience was less favorable, try Peets again. However, this time try to find a quite place to relax, pour yourself a cup and see if you don't appreciate the flavor profile Peets has to offer. Well worth another try! “Peet’s Customer Service When something goes wrong they are not helpful at all. It was a special offer 25% off for coffee that I usually buy. Something was wrong with the website. My 3 orders were cancelled. I called to Customer Service. They said that they would figure out and they would provide the same discount what it was offered on my order. I received an email just now with the information that they couldn’t process my orders and they can’t provide the discount what was on their website. I am not going to buy anything with Peet’s related anymore.”

“The decaf dark roast- Major Dickason's Blend is the best decaf I've found. There is no 'decaf aftertaste' that many others have. It's just really good coffee. I'm drinking decaf due to health issues and now I can have great coffee again!”

“Moved to Texas from California and missed having adequate access to Peet's whole beans of a good size and preferred roast. But ordering on-line is a hassle. No cost savings vis-a-vis the store (unless I want a subscription, which I don't). And delivery sucks. Says 6 days tops, but it's usually more. It is "arriving tomorrow" for five days just this last time, for example. I'm going on a trip and now it's going to show up when I'm not there. I'm done ordering on-line. And if I can't find what I need in the store, I'm just going to buy Starbucks. It's a shame. I had been a loyal, enthusiastic customer. Oh well.”

“I ordered Caramel Frappe at SAN Airport terminal 2 by gate 26, I can’t believe that I paid more than $7 for a frappe that taste like milk blended with Ice with a slight taste of coffee. It didn’t help that the person that helped me keeps roling her eyes after I asked if I can get a caramel Machiatto. What a total waste of $7. Im sure you can do better. I used to love your coffee”

“So many bad reviews…. I always ignored Pete’s coffee in the supermarket, because it was a smaller bag and it was more expensive. Then it went on sale, and I tried it. Such a pleasure, it’s a notch above with a richer, full bodied flavor. So apparently, it’s more expensive for a reason. A lot of those reviews have nothing to actually do about the coffee, and they are valid reasons to make decisions in life. But if it’s taste and taste alone, Peet ’s wins.”

“Coffee beans used to be fragrant and fresh in store. Now it’s not worth the trip because beans can be up to 3 months old. and ordering online is not much better. Customer service sounds like one man with a very strong accent, who will not slow down and is virtually inintelligible.”
