“Peruvian Connection has pieces that you can't fins anywhere else. But there are some that are better than others -- maybe the ones really made in Peru? Or maybe the ones that haven't sold so well they have been genericized? I don't tend to return things, so I can't speak to that, but the shipments to me have been timely and accurate. I especially love the Decades coat; it's a lovely warm high-quality classy addition to winter! I have nearly all the colors, and wear them all. My first one was the black one, which I am still using with NO wear to coat or lining after 30 years and occasional dry cleaning. I treasure my beautiful handmade PC knits. I recommend them highly for quality, style and service.”

“I read these reviews - I agree that most companies offer free shipping. I saw that PC does offer free shipping as well. Their quality is good as well as their pricing. Just a thought - when they charge for a return just remember how much time and cost it is when you drive to a store!”

“I've been buying Peruvian Connection almost since they first started selling in the UK, being originally attracted to the romantic style, but specifically their virtually heirloom hand knitted sweaters, cardigans and jackets. Sadly they rarely do those these days, presumably because the prices would now be astronomical. I still buy a few items because their designs are good and usually the quality is still pretty good. Sometimes there's a long lead time if they are out of stock, but unlike another reviewer my personal experience of customer service has always been good. For example, I bought a couple of (fairly expensive) jersey tops, and after several months noticed that when held up to the light, the fabric had thinned badly, despite correct washing. They asked for a letter and the tops to inspect, and were then very prompt and courteous providing replacements. 4 stars only because they no longer do so many of the designs I loved.”
