Despite using the company's sizing directives, neither of the dresses I ordered fit. This has happened several times with this company, and I resent their high mailing fees--a wasted $28. Unless you are a woman over 5'7" and wear a bra size C or under, save your money. These clothes are not designed for you. On the upside, the merchandise does arrive nicely, lots of tissue paper and a sturdy box. But it's the consumer who pays for it.

I have spent thousands of dollars over the last 10 years at Peruvian Connection and have always paid their outrageous shipping costs. I called today to see if I could get free shipping on an order over 200.00 as complimentary for being a loyal customer. The answer was no. This company expects you to spend 350.00 to get free shipping which is insulting. They need to show appreciation to those who keep them in business instead of greed to fill their own pockets. Very disappointing and I do not know if I will continue to be a loyal customer.

The worse customer service with a manager at the UWS store - My daughters and I will NOT be returning. As former senior retail manager, I am highly disappointed. We were about to spend a lot of money here. Instead, we went next door to Eileen Fisher and made our significant purchase there. The young lady at Peruvian Connection who helped us for two + hours was very helpful. The manager was also rude to her. He's not qualified for the job and as a result PC has lost future business from us and I will be relating this story to others for a while.

I ordered a $269.00 blouse from Peruvian Connection, believing the blouse would be made on South America. Instead, the garment tag said "made in China.". There was no indication in PC catalogue that the blouse was made in China. When I wrote a review to alert customers that some PC products are made in China, PC refused to publish the review. If PC censors such reviews, then the reviews lose credibility.

USE CAUTION: Great looking catalog, ridiculous prices, S L O W order processing. You'll wait WEEKS. Fabric quality is unreliable. SHIPPING rate is HIGH and you will PAY to RETURN. Look well, some things that look fabulous will be junk in your hand.

Company policies on returns are beyond unacceptable! The sizes are NOT standard to US measurements, resulting in 90% returns AND consumer must pay shipping returns. Most items are made in China and do not wash well. Too many other catalog retailers: SKIP THIS COMPANY!!!!

I ordered a wonderful top from them a few months ago. I wore it 4 times then washed it in cold water, gentle cycle, and without soap just in case. The instructions on the tag said to do wash it this way, but could use soap. I chose not to - I laid it on a towel to dry and it no longer fits and is not wearable. I contacted customer service and they said " since it has been worn and washed they could not return it." I was willing to try another one even I really liked it but I WILL NOT EVER MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN - THEY DO NOT ! STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I do not recommend anyone purchasing from them in case you are placed in a similar situation. It was NOT an inexpensive top to say the least. I am beyond unhappy with this company and think others should know!

In fairness, this is not a review. Truth is, I was all set to order from Peruvian Connection—until I read the reviews. Then I threw away the catalogue. Customers matter. Good customer service is everything.

DO NOT BUY FROM PERUVIAN CONNECTION! VERY POORLY made products! Peruvian Connection DOES NOT stand by their products for replacement! These products are expensive and they should last but DO NOT!

Do not buy anything from Peruvian Connections, a total ripoff. I bought a tank top that was thin and flimsy and they charged me $15.32 to send back a 2 oz item, totally ridiculous.

The new website configuration leaves a lot to be desired. One can no longer leave a review, which I relied on to get a feel for fit, color, quality, etc. Also, BEWARE! Pay very close attention to the amount of your refunds. They now subtract the $7.95 return fee PRIOR to figuring your tax (if any paid), resulting in a refund smaller than what you're owed. Additionally, be careful when you checkout. Even if you spend $350+, the box for paid shipping is now automatically checked off. You will need to check the free shipping box yourself.

Thanks for all these negative reviews. I was about to order over £1200 worth of goods from them. Now I won’t. Rather sad, as they looked lovely I the photos, but sense I’d be swindled .

I have been buying the layering tee shirt and tank/camisole for years. I just bought the Tee Shirt and it’s cut very different from the original. It’s 2-3 inches shorter, which makes a huge difference. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed. They used to be the finest tanks and tees, but they’re no longer the same.

I've been purchasing from PC for several years and I've always been very happy with my items and with the service. This month I ordered the Layering Tee, which I've gotten many times in the past. The new version is much thinner and flimsier, and feels like it will not hold up very well. I'm going to try it, since I use these tees all the time and love the style. But, if it doesn't wash well and last over time, I will not re-order. For the first time ever, I received an error in my order, and noticed that there are no sizes or colors shown on my invoice or in my e-mail confirmation. This isn't a good way to ship someone's items! Also noticed that, all of sudden, there are no customer reviews on their website, and no place to write a review. I agree with the person below who said that if she can't read the reviews, she won't order from them anymore. This has always been a fabulous company, now it seems to be going downhill. Finally, I've noticed that PC is trending toward "Haute couture" lately, for astronomical prices. That will also drive me away. Please spend more on quality items, even if it means spending less on fancy boxes and packaging!

Website in meltdown, but they take your money and then tell you over the phone they no longer send emails to confirm the purchase. Impossible therefore without order number to find out what is happening. Customer service said I would find order number on the website but website requires order number to find the order number!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID. Something is clearly wrong with the business

I've been buying mostly cotton tops from PC for over 20 years. I'm an online shopper in general and Covid drove me to do it almost exclusively. I really do like PC's unique prints and all cotton tops, but many of the reviews here are accurate: they take quite a while to ship (and I'm in CO, they're in Kansas . . . one state apart), shipping is extremely expensive and returns are also; and just recently, with their new website, you can't even write a review of a purchase or read any reviews!(The new website and changes have occurred since the founder passed away.) If they've eliminated reviews by customers I will be forced to buy almost nothing from them -- it's just too expensive to order, pay shipping, find the item doesn't fit (their sizing info. is fairly inaccurate), then pay return shipping. I don't usually like the items that much! I think they're shooting themselves in the foot and may drive themselves out of business with these policies. The competition is just to strong for these policies these days . . . . Hope they learn something before it's too late. 8/12/23

Return portal a nightmare. I am being instructed that my order number can not be identified so I am unable to proceed to the next step. I wish to return 3 items which I initially ordered on June 6th. They arrived on July 3rd and I have been trying to return them ever since. I will not be ordering any more items from them unless things improve significantly.
