I visited Peter vardy on 27-11-15 and purchased a 62 plate mokka that was in Aberdeen Peter vardy, I asked them to sent a picture this did not happen until I had phone twice then recieved a video, my licence was out of date so I had to wait until that was renewed, my licence arrived on the 11-12-15 I took it to dalgety bay on the 12-12-15. They said it would take 48 hours to process and I would have my car on 15-12-15. I then recieved a call on Monday to say they needed a copy of my credit card to sent to finance company, strange how they never took this on my first visit, I picked up my car on Tuesday 15-12-15 at 4.30pm I couldn't check the car over as it was dark so I waited till first light, on 16-12-15 I noticed the my windscreen was chipped so I called Peter vardy, lady said she would need to check with the valet to see if it had left the showroom like this, I felt like I was being accused of this, I got In my car and drove straight down to the dealership and demanded I spoke to the manager, I explained that the chip was old and he asked how I would know thishow would by the manager however they would get auto windscreen to fix this, so I arrived back at the dealership the next day to get this fixed only then to be told that the windscreen had been previously chipped and filled, so arranged was made for a new windscreen. I arrived again on the 21-12-15 at 10-40 my appointment was 11am, auto windscreen arrived at 11.25. Was told it would take around 1 hour, I spoke to somebody around 12.30 to be told it would be another half an hour, so at 1pm I asked again to be told that the man from auto windscreen had vanished they called him to ask what was happening and he explained that he needed a sensor for my windscreen and would be back ASAP. When the auto windscreen man arrived back at 1.30pm I went straight to him to ask how long this would take only to be told i could drive the car for another hour after it was fixed, nobody had explained this at the start, I need to be at my work for 3pm had no lunch offered a cup of tea an hour after I was in the showroom. I again went to the sales manager and he explained he would give me a courtesy car do I could go to work, however I didn't take my licence with me as I wasn't expecting to spend 3 hours there, I then had to get someone fro the showroom to drive me home, get a taxi to my work and around 5pm I recieved my car at my work, I feel as if they took my money and didn't care Regards Sharon wallace 07803616767 Sharonwallacescot@yahoo.co.uk

Although it was back a couple of months ago and after 8 visits to get everything (almost everything) done the service, workmanship and the way we were treated was utterly diabolical and I'm not the only one to have received such poor service. When I picked up the car there was so many scratches and issues with the interior that totally contradicted the Peter Vardy promise. I was told to make a snag list which was a comp!ete side of A4. As I stated earlier it has taken 8 visits, each one as farsical as the last with lies, a well below par paintshop and frequently unreturned calls. I still haven't received my premium protection certificate. I was told there isn't one yet they are sitting on the side of the sales desks and my father has one. I was so close to contacting trade services after such a poor experience and was going to arrange the service plan but wouldn't touch Peter Vardy with a barge pole if you paid me. I honestly don't know how Peter Vardy can hope to continue wish issues such as these!

I have never been treated so poor by a garage. I thought buying a £44000 truck thought we would have been treated well and have a hassle free sale. First number plates were wrong and then the interior was wrong. Then Salesman Graham Cowin was a complete waste of time once the truck was paid for, he had no intention in fixing any faults. I had to go to Aberdeen's sales manager to get a way forward. This is the first time buying from Peter Vardy and will be the last. Jodie Forbes unhappy customer 07733225864

The service was awful. First thing, the official promised that we can receive our car next Thursday and we came to collect, but car had not been delivered yet. It was to hard for him to call and inform us. Second thing, the other official apologized and promised to fill more fuel to compensate our trip, but when we received our car there was almost no fuel at all (just enough to go to Glenrothes) despite the fact that I had been paid already for it. I did not come back, because it was enough for me and I did not want to be rude. I will never use your service again. Thank you! Car it self is ok.

I bought an ex demo vxr from Perth branch the car came with a lot of issues (only one key ,chips on body work ,no front parking scensors fitted ,no gap insurance paperwork,no security codes for the vehicle ,service book not stamped, tyre pressure monitoring system faulty and a piece of bodywork missing from the body kit)which I was assured would be rectified in due course. That was ten days ago and after numerous calls to the branch and many excuses as to why no one ever calls me back when I did eventually get to speak to salesman that was dealing with the car I was told that everything would be taken care of ,nothing as yet has been done to get the car back to have the problems rectified.I have also spoken to the sales manager who again has told me that the issues will be resolved after his manager has spoken to me by phone call which I am still waiting on and then they will arrange to get the car fixed.I feel that 10 days has been more than enough time to get the car repaired and returned to me in the condition that it should have given to me in the first place. As a returning customer I feel severely let down and was willing to give the branch time to resolve the issues to enable me to give a positive feedback but as I seem to be getting nowhere fast I have to give negative feedback and say at this time I will not be returning to the business for future purchases. Still awaiting response Robert Black

Great service right up until i paid my deposit. Then basicly no service. I complained about scuffed alloys. it states in your promise that you never send a car out with damaged alloys. I have e-mailed the salesman twice and someone else who was going to pass on to complaints. But still no reply. When i picked the car up another customer who was having problems told me not to buy a car from you but i told him it was to late. The problems started when the salesman had to take unexpected time of and no one else dealt with his work load.

I cannot say a good word about them. Had 2 cars both brand new and had numerous problems. My current car is just 2 years old and has been in and out garage since I got It. Still got ongoing issues that they can't resolve and just fob you off. Complaints procedure is a joke and the senior level of management do not back up the service staff at branch leaving me to take it out on them. Very patronising. The list of faults with my car is as long as your arm. Please read this and take note or you will end up in my situation. AVOID!!!!. 63 plate corsa is the car in question. Fuel gauge issues, rattles, bangs, gearbox issues and now no lights at all. Not what I expected when I bought a new car tbh. Car been pulled by police for no lights and ran out of fuel twice with the gauge showing quarter yet you say there is no fault. Your level of competence is laughable. Our experience has been a mixed one hence the poor score. Firstly we paid our 250 deposit to secure a car from your Perth garage only to be told later in the week that the car was not available but another car had been found and would be dealt at the same money. We researched the car only to find it on dalgety bay website 300.00 cheaper. We therefore travelled to dalgety to be told it will be the same price as Perth as it was a website error. As we wanted the car we agreed a deal with full tank of petrol and genuine car mats etc. On collection we found that the car was presented well but lacked the fuel and mats and had to be forceful to get these extras that were promised.we were also advised that the car would need to be returned for a switch that was faulty and that a service administrator would call 48 hours later to advise when the car would be booked in - you got it no phone call we had to do the chasing to be told there is no mention of any repair time allicated but nevertheless someone will call you back again no call. Why do car garages work this way we had 2 or 3 people all over us on day of purchase then nothing absolutely nothing since and you wonder why you get poor reviews. If this does get read maybe someone could resolve for me please and you could also advise Peter of how his team is performing , it would be interesting to get his feedback on this also but I guess it will never reach him. My invoice number so you have traceability was 3002231. Thanks

I can only describe dealing with Peter Vardy as horrendous, firstly you have all the adverts around the garage such as 0% interest, £2000 minimum trade in and a no quibble guarantee regarding refunding the difference of a cheaper car elsewhere I received non of these. Secondly I purchased a black Vauxhall Viva only to go back to the garage where they tried to give me a grey one, also I paid an initial deposit of £500 on the 13th of Sept, I was promised the car the following week, (that's when they tried to give me the grey one) then I was told it would be here on the 23rd of October, I eventually got it on the 1st of Nov and in the meantime no contact or phone calls to say where the car was. I have purchased 3 vans with yourselves over the last 7 years but needless to say I will not be approaching you again, not even for a service. Yours a very dissatisfied customer

Paid £250 for them to "source" a car for me, never heard from them again except to try and sell me finance for a car I didn't even have. A month of no communication after all the false promises they made about how great their car sourcing was, I phoned up to get my money back. Useless.

Absaulte joke, bought a car from them had it 5 days after buying it had a rear diff fault, steering noise fault, dash trim marked ect alot of faults, car went in for 12 days, got it back and engine management light came on a mile later had it another 2 days and it went back in for 8 days and has still got the same clutch fault it did when I bought it! Very poor service, poor phone communications on the phone for like 10 mins and they cant even get hold of anyone, been onto hq, trading standards ect about all this, alot of faults on the car and taking there extreme time to get it back one day I might actually have my new 14k car for more than a week! Been onto every manger in the branch and slowly get somewhere before it all turns the same again alot of hastoe at time of buying and ever since... Avoid atall costs I've spent about 20£ of fuel running about plus they never have courstety cars! Need to get onto hq and managers to get a car but they'll happy take mt car for weeks at a time

Worst customer service I have experienced avoid at all costs. Staff will make arrangement to call and discuss complaints and not follow up. Happened to myself on all three occasions. Paid for a service that was partially completed and they refused to reimburse for work that had not been carried out even though it had been paid for. Make sure you use recommended mechanics and not these monkeys who lack competence to assess the cars safety critical systems. Extremely disappointed by these time wasters.

After reading reviews praising the company I had to write my own experience. On 7th Aug I decided to look for a new car with a view to purchasing a 1.6 astra,I had looked on line and I saw one that interested me from another depot and bobby the salesman said it would not be a problem getting it delivered to hillington, as I was going on holiday and would not be returning until the 19th,I asked for details and price and assurance the car was a 1.6 and was told definitely. On the 10th I decided to check what my insurance would cost and I checked go compare,i put in my registration and was shocked when the details said the car was a 1.4,I then phoned bobby for re assurance and he said the details must have been input wrong as the car was definitely a1.6 and was in the showroom for collection.Still uncertain my wife and I decided to go to the showroom to collect the car and would you believe, it was a 1.4.The manager who had joined us by now asked the salesman to go and get the registration document which verified what I thought all along, red faces all around. The salesman then told me the car was a turbo I said I was settled on a 1.6 he said as I was there would I not take a test drive, after agreeing I would it turned out the car was not a turbo that was the final straw,I asked for my deposit back and left the showroom bitterly disappointed with the whole experience.I must also add if you have to phone customer service at any time be prepared as you will not get a call back you have to call them if you want a reply.Last but by no means least if this was the service I received when I was purchasing a car, what would it be like returning it for a repair.
