Overall good, however I felt uncomfortable at the suggestion that I could just hand back my old car to the finance company as I had made over 50% of the payments and was still in negative equity with the car. I was assured that this would not affect my credit rating. I decided that I would go ahead and purchase the new car but paid off the outstanding finance on my old car. It felt like a dodgy way of dealing, one that would come back and bite me in the future.

What can I say but very good customer service clear and precise in their explanations of paperwork and detailed. Friendly Staff at the Kirkcaldy Branch and I must say for what I was looking for I was directed to a Staff Member who knew exactly what I needed for my business and went the extra mile on my behalf to achieve this for me. Would of been very good, if the car I bought was presented in a better way. The valet team needs to improve quite badly. Sales team was very good though:)

Sale handled very well by Colin, despite your quirky IT system problems. Still getting the feel for the car but achieving my expectations each day as I drive.

I was dissapointed to be told that because i have no licence i could not purchase a brand new car on finance but i was able to get a second hand car

On the whole I thought the service was good. The salesman did his best to cater for my needs/budget etc. It would however been helpful for the salesman to point out any flaws in the bodywork of a car you hope to purchase, as this will help the customer make informed choices about the vehicle being considered. When your caught up in the sale you don't always think about these things.

was initially missold the offer given by the girl who came to my work, really wasnt happy. declan and the the girl who helped me on the day i picked up my car were great sorry cant remember her name but she took the time to how me around the car and knew i was nervous. love my car however there was a stain on the interior on picking up. right next to the front wndow which i need to get cleaned and im going to have to book it to get the brake lights looked at. overall the staff were lovely tho. now to find out what the after care is like.....

I was happy with the service, everything was done quickly. My only complaint was having to pay £100 deposit because I didn't have the MOT certificate and V5 document with me even though no one said I had to take it in, I drive 50 miles the following day with the documents to b told te card machine was broken and I would need to call on Monday To get the money back. On phoning back I was then told the £100 would take up to three days to clear as they only had my card details and not my card! It was nearly a week later we recieved the deposit back even though they had the documents the following day.

This is my fourth car since 2008 purchased from Peter Vardy in Perth. The overall ownership experience has not been a complete bed of roses. The buying experience has in general been good. PV operate a different model to most dealers with a sales team approach. I prefer this to the usual dealer sales setup. They avoid the worst extremes of sales torture which involve 'I will just speak to the sales manager' They did go through a spell when the reception front office was not up to scratch. I even had to resort to a written complaint. I cannot have been the only one as changes did follow. I am not sure the workshop has got its QA right over the last 18 months either. Among a number of issues how did they service the car and fail to tighten up the oil filter? And my latest car came with a slow puncture, and I do not have the confidence to know if that was there on delivery or not. Still 300 miles on the latest car and I can confirm it tows my caravan fine and is otherwise running well.

We had a good experience overall but, we were disappointed in that we assumed specifications would be the same if not better in our new car based on information given by the sales staff. What was an alleged better specification omitted items we had relied on in our former vehicle. We have been impressed by the efforts made to rectify the situation.

We were totally impressed by the sales team especially Garath Stanley the young guy who delt with us.Our only concern is the fact we had paid for the Adam jam with the urban pack but when we receive the car there was no chrome round the windows apparently there had been an email sent to the dealerships saying there was a batch missed and we were to receive 75 pounds but to be honest this would cost alot more and if on a finance agreement even more with the interest rate .....this is our only concern ...apart from this your staff have been more than helpful .

I have no fault at all with my salesman he went above and beyond. But due to unforeseen circumstances with the recall and previous to that a lack of communication from the customer experience team, I was left constantly having to phone to see what was happening with my car while at work. This made the experience of buying my new car stressful and not enjoyable! I had said I would wait till the following week to collect my car, but they insisted I could have it on the Friday. This didn't happen because of recall and I collected on Monday again having to make calls myself from work to enquire! There are also some faults on my car. Scrape on front alloy which is black high gloss so very noticeable, poor finish with rough edge on the interior screen and scrapes on driver door which because it is white again is very noticeable. When paying nearly 21,500 for a new car I do not expect this. I bought my previous car from yourselves and had problems there too. Therefore I will not be returning my custom

The sales staff made our purchase and hand over old to new a relaxing experience. all our requirements were fulfilled and i would recommend using peter vardy vauxhall to my friends in the future , Regards

I was impressed by the Sales and Servicing team, There were a few minor problems with the car, SV61 WWP, but they were quickly sorted. My only complaint was a lack of sharing of information by departments, I had cause to write to Customer Services but received no reply from them, I did receive a few phone calls asking about my impression of the service provided and how my new car was. This was a bit galling as the advisor did not know I was having said problems. However I am now happy to say I have received the car and it appears to be working as it should. Well done Peter Vardy.
