“It took 9 days to deliver my medications on last occasion. I ordered one item last week, was questioned about it and still had no notification of any activity. I am going to change back to my previous pharmacy now.”
“they took my order then would not deliver my medication. tried ringing them but could not get anyone to speak to just an automated set of messages. After two days managed to get on the chat online. after been told to see my doctor for another prescription even after I had told them the doctor had said the could re issuse it. I have been told that they will try to dispatch it within 24 hours but I am not expecting them to do so. I am going back to my local chemist. I only join because I was told it saved the NHS money.”
“When I first started using this service, it was a decent service and once everything was in place, it worked well. Since then I have encountered a number of issues with delays in delivery, the latest received today stating that there will be a week's delay due to stock issues. I am convinced this is nothing more than them becoming victims of their success and not having sufficient infrastructure to meet demand. I am going to be looking at alternative provision as I am dependant on my medication and delays are dangerous! The last time, I was waiting for antibiotics for 2-weeks!”
“Absolutely s@#t, avoid at all costs.
I'm in excruciating pain with a broken ankle. And they leave me with no medication.
Hope your really pleased with yourselves!!!!
I also ordered 1 prescription only for them to take money for 3 prescriptions.
Very very INCOMPETENT!!!!!”
“Repeat prescriptions on multiple occasions failed to be sent to doctors. They claim they have sent the request. But it’s clear they haven’t and my doctors proved to me that they didn’t receive the request. My medication is for my mental health and they play Russian roulette with your life. The customer helpline is a joke you can be waiting for up to 1 hour to speak with someone
My intention is now to take them to the ombudsman and get another supplier like echo”
“I give 1 star, because I can't write a review without it, but would give them -10 for incompetence.
They have messed up the last 4 of my prescriptions for Apaxiban (anti-coagulant) and suggesting I get an emergency prescription to cover the days they are not able to fulfil my order.
They finally emailed me, but only after I had complained, to tell me "there appears to be an internal stock issue with the order". Their email also informed me, "I have tried to call you today but unfortunately there was no answer, the number we have for you does not seem to be connecting."
If you do attempt to phone this company, you will not get through unless you are prepared to wait at least 45 minutes on hold and then IF you do get through, you may be cut off and have to do the wait again.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR HEALTH TO THIS COMPANY. IT WILL CAUSE YOU MORE STRESS THAN YOU NEED.”
“They often have issues they refer to as 'technical' problems. Vital medication such as warfarin and other tablets are delayed or not available leaving you with no medication. Do not use, easier to pick up from local pharmacy”
“The most complicated company
website I have ever encounted.
You require extra medication whilst trawling through the nonsense links. I have used p2u for 3 years
with little trouble but today I have
tried to order repeat prescription but now inform me to order at doctors which is a backward step to which I originally wanted to cut
out. Now it is Sunday and will have to wait until tomorrow to try to sort out ???? one more chance or I change to a more professional company.”
“I am a patient relying on repeat prescription. I had to do battle with Pharmacy2u on 2 occasions in order to get GP approved prescriptions delivered. Their customer service is ATROCIOUSLY BAD. And as a patient who relies on these medications this is deeply offensive and humiliating. Use this company at your peril. I will look for alternative services,.”
“Out of 10 deliveries so far only 2 came through which weren't damaged (including the tablets). I've even sent photos of the damaged packaging to pharmacy2u but had no response. Therefore, I will be looking for an alternative supplier. The latest delivery was 11/01/2020, guess what - damaged packaging & tablets.”
“Too slow. Myself and Carers/Nurses kept losing track of what was ordered, and where the order was? What status etc as it can take more than a week from ordering to receiving medication. I was also having to order 2 to 3 weeks in advance to make sure my prescriptions would arrive in time to use them. Contacting them is also a pain. Live chat rarely works, on hold for ages, just not worth the hassle. I will go back to my local Pharmacy, even thou there is a small charge for delivery, it's well worth it compared to using the Pharmacy2u service... Stay local, do not bother with this, it creates a massive hassle. .. Myself and my care team, including Doctors, Nurses, Pain Management can't believe the NHS gave them the contract. Like trusting ebay/Hermes with your prescriptions”
“It is so so slow and inefficient. It seems they 'hide' behind the GP taking time to approve the prescription but in fact we have found that isn't the case. We are looking at an order placed on 27th Jan and it still hasn't been delivered. Just not good enough. We only went to them as the local pharmacy couldn't do the 'dosette' boxes needed by my aged parents. We wouldn't recommend them and are looking for a better alternative.”
“AVOID AVOID AVOID
Pharmacy2U had my prescriptions for approx 8 days, when I contacted them they said the Doctor had not sent the prescription for one item, I told them I had confirmation from the Doctors and also from themselves to prove otherwise then I asked P2U to send the Dosette box without the missing item and I was then told another 4 items had not been authorised by the Doctor even though once again I had confirmation from both the Doctors and P2U. The next day I finally got the truth out of them and was told the items were out of stock and they were unsure of the next delivery. My prescription codes were emailed to me and I returned to my local chemist (cap in hand).
I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE AVOID PHARMACY2U AT ALL COST”
“Have had my prescription for 10 days, constant emails advising out of stock of certain items & asking if I would like the rest of my medications issued in the meantime. I have said yes on 4 occasions, it goes back to be dispensed & suddenly another item is out of stock. Do not respond to emails requesting they just send anything they do have, instead advised me to go and get an emergency prescription from my doctor - defeats the whole point of using their service when they have my prescription sitting there! Avoid if you expect your life saving medications to actually arrive. Have just left a message stating that I will get my medication after Christmas - 3 weeks after receiving my prescription, awful service”
“The persistent reminders are bordering on harassment despite my setting them to every 3 months and there is NO place to close the account on the website. AVOID!”
“Website does not allow quantities ... therefore they order me 2 weeks supply of one medication, 4 weeks supply of a second and 5 weeks supply of the third...What a mess”
