I was impressed at the quick delivery (bought Saturday online and delivered Sunday morning) and staff have been helpful and friendly when I have phoned up. However I have had to contact Phones 4 U and EE a total of 10+ times within 2 days as Phones 4 U gave me a number that was technically invalid. 5 days after receiving my phone it is still not sorted. EE and Phones 4 U just blame each other.

Hi Daniel, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing a fault with your phone. I have checked your account and can see you had a problem with people hearing you on calls. You last spoke to our Technical Support Team on 17 July regarding this who asked you to monitor the issue. You do have a 24 month warranty which entitles you to a free of charge repair for any manufacturing faults. I would recommend booking this for an assessment at any local Phones 4u branch. First time I renewed contract over the phone with phones 4u this lead to my details being passed to scammers who work internal or independently who repeatedly tried to gain access to my bank account however I approached phone 4 u queen gate Peterborough they were very help full and a credit to your organisation .lesson learnt I will now only deal face to face .

The service in store was very go but the call centre service not as good I'm afraid. 3 times I had to call to get the £100 cashback

I was very happy with the person i spoke to and the help the gave me. But while trying to make my mind up to what phone i would like i chose this one because i was told with having a toddler the screen was shatter resistant. Clearly this information was incorrect as my daughter just dropped my phone in the kitchen which will now cost me to fix. The main reason i took this phone was because of the information i was given on it, which is incorrect.

The Nokia Lumia 625 does have Gorilla Glass 2, which means it has been strengthened. However, I'm afraid it can still be damaged. This would not amount to mis-advice from the sales agent. The purchase of my upgrade was quick and easy. However my cash back was never put through so I had to call up and request that. Also the insurance I took out through phones4u was not set up as requested either so I will now be arranging phone insurance through a separate company

staff at my local branch are polite competent and professional tho I did not enjoy handing £100 insurance preimium when I was already paying insurance I have no problem with fones 4 u they r ok

Wouldn't recommend Phones4u due to the fact that some of the customer service was appalling.....even after I was given cash as a gesture of goodwill. Also there seems to be no customer backup if you upgrade online by going in store if you have a problem.

how did you even get my email address? i dont remember giving it to you - however, while i'm here, every time i go in and ask for a topup on my pay monthly o2 sim, i get a barrage of questions about wanting to upgrade - if i wanted to upgrade i would ask - the implication here is that you i dont know what i'm in the shop for - i do - its very simple - pelase stop assuming that the person pn the street doesnt know what they want - just do as ive asked you to do without trtying to upsell - its really patronising. in the past when ive told people to stop doing it theyve replied that they're just trying to be helpful - well its not helpful at all - if im interested in your fantastic range of offers i'll ask, but im not so thats why i dont - anyway, how did you even get my email?

Well, I explained that I went into dispute with T-Mobile and that although I signed a monthly contract with them - each month the bill was always more than expected. I was aware that calls to International numbers would not be allowed due to the monthly agreed figure on the contract. Although I did complain about this to T-Mobile, they refused to compromise by making any calls to 0845 and other revenue numbers barred. I refused to pay the last month of my contract with them and had many phone calls to them before arriving at this decision. They let it go but said that they would put the matter onto my credit reference file, which in itself is illegal as we were in dispute and I had also told them to take me to court in order that I would win. So, your team tried and tried to get me a nice little contract which would upgrade me to an iPhone on a monthly contract. I have been with Vodafone ever since and they have been great. Anyway, in the end the girl would have tried other routes, but by this time the whole thing was getting silly and not doing my credit rating any good by keep applying. The main reason I contacted you in the first place was because of an advertisement that appeared on my email page. Another phone company also rang me earlier in the year offering me a mobile phone for a monthly contract - this went on and on too. Tedious. I upgraded my phone with Vodafone as I had got some points saved up. I ended up paying £18 and got a smart looking ALCATEL phone which is so irritating as the buttons are not tactile and therefore it takes several hits to get the right letter when you are texting. You get fined if you miss a payment. They don`t call it a fine but if the money is not in your account you end up paying for all calls and texts until you money runs out - then they put you on a reserve then you pay your tenner and they sting you for the reserve. So you have to pay more - this is invariably give me about £2.00 credit which always seems to get used up no matter what I do re calls etc. So all in all, I think the phone companies (not you) ought to be fair with their charging schemes which tend to rip off nice young twenty somethibngs, who are trying to make a go in the world and then they wake up - EVERY F-G MONTH - with a phone bill of 70, 80 odd quid or more. This is ruinous to a young person. but the phone companies maintain this modus operandi as it is a sure way of making money.

Web site sucky when you want tech specs, much better looking elsewhere to choose your phone. Prices - Good Delivery - Fast Communication - Non Existent. No email communication from Phone4U at all, despite it promising me at least 2 emails when I ordered (I did check my Junk Folder). First I knew was when the Delivery Service contacted me with a delivery time.

Called to see if could get a contract, when processing my forms online it took too long and then cut off. I then received an email to say i could not get a contract. All in all the website is quite basic and as for the human touch there is none, a bit bland.
