Didn't get the contract I wanted and other offers were way overpriced so unfortunately phones4u failed to get me away from pay as you go.

Phone 4 u was really easy to use and got the phone super quick. Only issue i had was the correct details being forwarded onto EE when my new contract was taken out therefore i ended up receiving a warning from EE as my direct debit details had not been passed on.

The Grimsby store staff are extremley slow. We walked out one saturday, as we had been waiting over 30mins. Improvements on this store is a must. You must be losing customers to your rivals if people waited as long as we did.

At the time you took the contract there was a 7 working day cooling off period which means you could have cancelled within this timescale. Good service and quick delivery, but let down by offer still not being received. Was meant to receive watch but has been delayed for a couple of months!

Hi the phone is good but vodaphone is something else cannot get 4g or get a signal, at times very poor. Also phones 4u keep sending texts about the hot spots wifi which I was paying for but now I have a new contract and was informed that the hot spots were free under thus contract.

Hi Robert, Thanks for getting in touch and leaving us some feedback. I'm sorry you aren't getting the best signal possible. I have looked at the coverage checker for your home post code and I can see that the signal for 2G, 3G & 4G is excellent. It may be worthwhile calling Vodafone on 191 (free off your Vodafone mobile) to ask them to check the area for more detail. Thanks again for the feedback Robert, Hugh

Overall my experience was fine. I was disappointed that I initially got rejected during a credit check when I tried to buy a contract and iphone through their website. I have excellent credit and have never been rejected in the past for anything! I contacted Phones4U and asked why I hadn't passed and they explained that actually it was the mobile phone provider (in this case Orange) who runs the credit check and they suggested a similar contract but with a different provider. I DID pass the other provider's (Vodafone) credit check and eventually got my contract. However, Phones4U were not able to answer why I hadn't passed and it delayed the whole process by a couple of days.

You are correct in saying this is the networks decision, and unfortunately in most circumstances we do not get a direct reason as to why it may have been unsuccessful. I would recommend contacting the network for more details regarding the reason. I'm happy we were able to get you another contract though and I trust all is well with this. This would normally be because we have to wait for a response from the network for any pending checks, so if one was quicker than the other this may have resulted in them going on separate delivery vans. Service was ok, nothing special. They forgot to mention that I had to set up direct debit by myself directly with EE and then nearly caused me to be charged extra due to lack of payment.

I received the phone I asked for but I am still waiting for the gormet discount card that I was told I was entitled to as a sign up offer. Not impressed

Was told that I would get roaming free but can't see it on my account so seems that the phone companies are following the banks telling people anything to get a signature, also haven't had my £20 for recommending my wife who has also signed a new contract.

Still waiting for my £50 cash back after nearly 40 odd days. Fed up of talking to customer service about this matter. Must of spoke to every employee you have working there. None seem to have a clue to be honest. Nothing will get done about this matter know doubt!! Not happy!

Ok. The return and resend of phones jaded my experience slightly...After asking for iPhone I didn't like and went for Samsung s5. Sim card is different for both phones and this should be been picked up but had to go and get sim card from shop. Had to go to.phones4 u shop and was made to wait for an age before even being acknowledged by staff. Then went directly to ee shop and got sim card without hassle.

This should then have been sent out to you with the phone so that you could be up and running straight away. When I said that I was happy to go ahead with my order I mentiined that it was fine as I would qualify for vodaphone nhs discount of 20%. He did not correct me on this matter and I later found out that I could have only gained this if I had placed my order directly through Vodafone. Misold or misled. Nice chap who served me but shame he didnt know this or otherwise chose not to correct me. I am not £8 per month out of pocket.

It took nearly four weeks to get my new phone up and running! In the end a new SIM card was provided. All the staff were polite and helpful but seemed unable to solve the problem in a timely manner.
