“This website falsely advertises, piercings or studs that are not meant for specific body parts. I purchased products that are claiming to be nose studs. They absolutely do not sit flush on your face, and stick out extremely far making them look ridiculous. Doesn’t do returns even if they do, you’re paying for a restocking fee and the shipping. Do not get scammed by this warehouse.”

“Placed the wrong order thinking it was a PAIR. Emailed them not even 3 mins later to cancel the order. They never replied & shipped it out next day? I will be charged 20% of the entire order just to return it (claiming that is their restocking fee), so I will not be receiving a full refund. Infuriating & pointless.”

“Terrible quality. Literally bent and looks like there's some chipping too. Had no idea they would only send me a singular earring for how expensive it was. Also, any one else notice how most of their 5 star reviews are about how the customer had an issue but it's all good because customer service was good. Why are there so many issues with your jewelery in the first place??!! Save your energy and money and buy from Amazon for a quarter of the cost and actually good quality.”

“SCAM, do not order from this company, not all items are what they are pictured to look like. They are tiny. They refuse to return any of the products that do not work for me. It is not stated anywhere there are no returns and they are arguing with me about the product, refusing to believe they do not work for me. Huge waste of time and I’m stuck with 4 items that do not work for me. What a waste of money and time.”

“Ridiculously small, there is no way these fit people's actual ear lobes. What a waste of money. I ordered the (316L Surgical Steel Long Tail Spiral Taper Expander Stretcher - 12ga(2mm)) and (Surgical Steel Spiral Stretcher Taper Ear Gauges - 12ga (2mm)). How bizarre. (See attached photo)”

“Long story short I don’t have the piercing. The tracking tells me it was unsafe to leave at address. I have a locked up letter box. How big is the package? When trying to find where it is to pick up there is no company name of courier or phone number. When I approached Pierced Universe about this they pretty much said once it’s posted it up to me to track. Great customer service that is. I can’t track something that doesn’t have a name or address of where it is. Pierced Universe said all they will do is wait to see if it is returned and resend it. Australia post don’t have it and said it looks like it would be at a courier distribution centre but they can’t even see it in the email or tracking. So I am not going mad. Pictures below show email from Pierced Universe stating they won’t help, email from couriers in the States telling me to follow the exact same link with tracking number to a site that has no name or number of who has it and screen shots of all I see when i enter that tracking number. As you will see there is no courier name and I can assure you there is no phone numbers of once it’s hit Australian shores. My advice if you’re in Australia, do not order from these guys. They won’t help you if you have trouble and customer service is very bad. As for Pierced Universe, you asked for my review, here it is. Factual with the evidence provided. Hopefully you look at your customer service and rectify and maybe take a look at your postage service. Clearly you can’t trust them and they’re giving you a bad name. Since I don’t have the couriers company name, I can’t leave them the review as well.”

“I ordered my usual earring size that I've been wearing for 15 years, when I got them they were too small. I emailed the company and they told me I could not return them and did not offer me a solution to gain earrings that would fit me. I wasted my money on this company and earrings that run small. A negative experience to say the least.”

“I purchased from them last year and declined to be on their email mailing list. They added me anyway, so I unsubscribed. They added me to a new list a few months later (again without consent), I unsubscribed from this. They added me to yet another new list a few months later (again without consent), I unsubscribed from this too. They added me again today. Spammers”

“Stay away. This company is a scam. I never recieved a shipping notification of my order and never recieved my package. I believe it was never shipped out. Upon contacting them for a refund they tried to blame it on me and refused to provide a refund instead offering store credit. If I've had such a terrible experience with them the first time why would I shop at their store again? Absolutely terrible customer service.”

“I placed an order for the same size plugs twice and BOTH times they sent me the wrong size and tried to blame me and offered me a $7 credit. The materials used are fake (even though they claim as real) and the customer service is nonexistent. Don’t deal with this shady business.”

“Do not buy from them. Did not receive what was expected. When I emailed them about getting a refund or an exchange, they said they don’t do refunds. They offered me a 25% off my next purchase. If I wasn’t happy with my first order why would I spend money on a second one . Will never buy from them again. Buy from Amazon better”

“I just had pmy ears pierced and needed some invisible retainers for work, mind you I'm not too familiar with pricings since I'm new to all this. These guys sold me some clear retainers for $4.95 EACH! I later found the exact same product on Amazon for $7.99 for 10 pairs! So I emailed them for my refund. They said that they don't accept refunds but they will make an exception for me, but I have to pay return shipping, which was $5.99. It has been 2 weeks now and they still haven't refunded me. How do these greedy, lazy people stay in business? Stay away!”

“I bought my daughter a $40 nose ring and it broke after only using it 2x, but because it had been purchased a few months earlier (but less than 6 mo), pierced universe would not issue a replacement. Poor quality product and poor customer service!”

“Bought a flat back post from this online store and took it to my piercer to help me put it in (I had just broken one of my wrists so couldn't get it in myself). She held it up next to several other posts of the same gauge (16ga), and this one was noticeably thinner than the rest, which was concerning in terms of quality control. When held up to 18ga posts, it was still thicker, so I guess it was some mystery 17ga post. I let customer service know this and they explained that I had probably been sent the wrong gauge, and that they would send me the same one again. I said I just wanted a refund as I don't trust that the new one would be accurate in terms of thickness, and they said sure but I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. I argued that it was their quality control that was the issue, so I shouldn't really have to pay for their issue, and they obliged saying they'd waive it the one time. When returning my item, I included this email exchange in the package so that they couldn't say they didn't know. When they received my return, I emailed back with my concern that they deducted a restocking fee (they didn't, it was my miscalculation) and they just had to sneak in there that they measured the jewelry and it was in fact 16ga. If you scroll through the reviews, you'll see that I'm not the first person to have this problem with their QC. If you're not concerned about quality control at all and want to deal with a retailer that always has to get the last laugh, please do buy from here!”

“Ordered three items, two of the earring came bent and misshapen. I never even took them out of the packaging. I emailed asking for a refund and showed them pictures. They said they had quality control and the product wouldn’t have shipped like that. I emailed back and told them there refund policy allows for a full refund if the product is damaged and here it clearly was. I still have not heard back from them and they won’t refund my money. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. The customer service is so terrible it is not worth it when there are so many other places to get jewelry from.”
