“At last a proper dog food! Thank you so much for creating this. My little peanut (Misha) loves it and the great thing is that it can be cooked or served raw, I'd much prefer her to have it raw but occasionally she likes it cooked, she is very fussy! She has only been on it for a short time but I'm already seeing a difference in her. Again, thank you ;)”

“Great food, Zak loves it and he’s picky when it comes to food. Quick delivery, all nicely frozen. And Poppy’s assistant even phoned to make sure Zak was ok with the transition. Can’t fault Poppy’s picnic, they are BRILLIANT. Well Done Poppy and crew.”

“Love this food for my frenchie’s they polish the bowls off completely long time since they have done this. They are not trumping as much anymore and their poo 💩 is not runny which is a blessing when your out walking with them and have to clear it up . Best move I’ve made . Thank you Poppy’s’ Picnic”

“Hi there, my whippets absolutely love poppy's picnic I've finally found a food they enjoy, I have clean food bowls after every meal & they are still looking for more. I ordered a trial hamper then I ordered another 16pks & soon I will be ordering another batch of 36 for a monthly supply.its poppy's picnic all the way from now on I'm so glad my dogs love it.”

“Can’t recommend enough great food and service, we’ve gone from having a fussy Shih Tzu who we could never get to eat breakfast and that would happily skip meals to having one who now gets excited for meal times and eats everything as soon as it’s put down and even goes as far as to lick the bowl clean, also love how easy it is to recycle the trays and other packaging”

“Poppy’s Picnic is so easy and convenient for busy dog parents, who want to make sure that their fur babies have well balanced meals. My dog absolutely loves the beef and lamb power balls! “Praise for the excellent customer service, very helpful & kind people. I must also commend the packaging, the food arrived still fully frozen. Perfect thank you. The picnic balls are an ingenious idea especially for small dogs, just thaw enough for each day. I have wasted so much from other suppliers having to thaw 500grams a time. Sorry but here comes the negative, my Chihuahua won't eat it, now I admit she is very fussy, but I have tried her several times, even resorted to cooking with no success. I'm not giving up I plan to try again so fingers crossed. This by no means reflects on Poppy's Picnic which I would recommend highly, just on my fur baby, bless her.”

“We have a very fussy poochoon when it comes to food. Saw an add for poppys and gave it a try, best thing we did. She has so much more energy cant wait to for us to but her bowl down. She was a very windy dog but now she's much better. Her coat has gone all glossy highly recommend Poppy's food.”

“First time ordered, my 10 year old chihuahua is loving it . Will be ordering again. I love the fact of no bone in this brand , using calcium alternative , so that the food can be heated sometimes . Easy to order , delivered to doorstep . Fabulous!”

“We had struggled with food for our very fussy small poodle cross for the first year and had tried raw before which she soon went off. After seeing Poppy’s pIcnic on This Morning on ITV we decided to give it a try and ordered the meatballs. Wow she is excited for her meals for the first time ever and loves the Super Sprinkles on top too. The meatballs are a perfect size for a small dog as we can defrost just enough for each day and I am so happy she is now eating raw which I know is the best for her nutritionally. “This service is what I would have expected 40 years ago. Family run who care about their dogs. Mine absolutely loves his meals. I prepare them as if cooking for my daughters. I am carefully and quietly watched before serving. I have to invest in a slow feeder because Pebbles (my Cav) hoovers up his meals and always wants more. Any issues and I simply call and speak to the extremely knowledgeable members of the team. Couldn’t be simpler. Will only use this company.”

“Our girl was a fantastic eater before her season. Overnight she totally changed, and since mid-January, her eating has been a source of stress for us all. We have since tried two alternative foods but both have fillers (lentils for one, quinoa for another) which was affecting her digestion. Plus, it was getting expensive and time consuming having to buy a month's worth of food in one go, and then transition her between foods. And most importantly, she was miserable. I think we all started to dread meal times a bit, and they would loom over our day. It was heart-breaking seeing her pushing food away with her nose, while her stomach was rumbling. I was in tears more times than I care to admit! We can't feed raw for a few reasons, but I know how incredible it is and it's always the highest rated for nutrition. I was so thrilled to see that the Mighty Mince range could be cooked. So I knew our girl would have all the benefits of raw but it would be cooked by us, meaning it was nutritious and fresh every time. So I was excited, but knowing how difficult feeding had got, I didn't want to get my hopes up too much. To say it's been a revolution is an understatement! Our only problem now is how excited she gets while we let it cool slightly before putting it down for her. We've had to dust off the slow feeder that's not been seen since January! We can now put her food down and she'll be dancing next to her mat waiting and will clear the plate. Finding the Mighty Mince products from Poppy's Picnic has been a dream for us, and I can't rave about it enough. If you've been put off raw food but want all the goodness, then this is well worth checking out!”
