“Great website for information on raw feeding, not just pushing the food at you. Good, clear labelling for exact ingredients and nutrition of each pack. Easy ordering of one off products and when we were transitioned over with Arty (our 9 week old schnauzer puppy) it was very easy to setup a mixed pack subscription, the calculator suggested how many packs and how frequently. Time will tell how accurate it is, but it looks easy enough to tweak it over time. Arty went straight onto the raw food, we tried to transition him from kibble and cheap tinned wet food slowly, but he loved the raw food so much we just started giving him full portions and added a littke kibble on top for familiar texture and we haven't looked back! The portion size recommendations from the calculator seem spot on and Arty actively looks for his meals and sits in the kitchen asking for his food, so a happy puppy Mum. Arty's digestive system seems to have adapted to the raw food really quickly too, his poos are much more solid, regular and predictable and getting less smelly over time too. All round, I thoroughly recommend Poppy's Picnic food, customer service and price point seems right for the quality of the food.”

“Excellent all round. Dogs love the food, I love how clean and convenient it is, no nasty smells or disgusting stuff. Also I really appreciate the support I received. And it was personal and friendly support. Far and away better customer service than I could ever have imagined. I’m hoping to feed my dogs with this for very many years to come.”

“My dog had severe stomach problems (IBD) and hated his persciption diet. In fact he hates pretty much every dog food I had tried (and I have tried LOADS). Put him on Poppy's Picnic and the bowl is licked clean and his loose poos started to clear up within 3 days. He has more energy and seems to be more alert. I studied the ingredients in Poppy's Picnic before switching him and it is full of good stuff unlike the majority of dog food which quite frankly is complete rubbish. Deliveries sent out quickly and arrive frozen with no issues. Happy all round. Thank you Poppy”

“Wanted to try the Mighty Mince as it's cookable and my normally raw fed girl has decided, due to false pregnancy, that she can only eat cooked food now. Had a few issues on the best way to cook it but Poppy's were great with very quick advice. My girl loves the food cooked and so far no issues.”

“I have a cavaliver which are notouriously fussy eaters and mine was no different. After tring several types have found that while my dog may prefer human food, I prefer the complete raw foods to ensure she receives the proper nutrition. I love that I can cook this food so if she is being particularly fussy (not eating for three or four days), I can offer it cooked and she'll eat it. I love the handy size of the meatballs too.”

“We have a very fussy rescue Shih Tzu, who we were struggling to get to eat consistently and she was beginning to lose weight. We had considered raw as she loves meat, but I am immunosuppressed and thus raw is not recommended. I came across Poppy's Picnic and was so excited that you could cook it too. We've been feeding Dora cooked Poppy's Power balls for almost a month now and she eats the meaty goodness up without a fuss and is even excited to get her dinner. We will be playing a subscription order later this week!”
