“I am very happy with Poppy's picnic raw food and so is my Rotweiller. I buy the cookable (without bone) so I can cook and give as "treats". I have tried other raw/bonless brands and although he will eat it, he is not as keen.”

“My old rescue dog Kookie transitioned quickly over to the meatballs. They are a handy size, quick to defrost and work well to add to other food he likes.i like the option of being able to cook them sometimes. I will now be ordering monthly and hope to set up a subscription if that’s possible minus the chicken option due to an intolerance”

“My two cockapoos have been on Poppy's Picnic food for at least 10 years, the younger dog is 7 and he has been on it all of his life. The older boy is 15 and they are both very fit and love their food. As a customer I really appreciate the ethos of the company, they are warm and friendly and they respond promptly to any questions or issues I may have and take any necessary action immediately. Deliveries are on time and very well packed. I recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“I recently tried my 'Very Fussy' Cockapoo puppy with Poppys Picnic Power balls (Lamb, and Wild Boar varieties). After weeks of trying a selection of other big brands of fresh & wet dog foods which he has loved initially, then turned his nose up at, Im relieved that I've found Poppys Picnic meatballs as he LOVES them!!! He impatiently stands up watching & waiting as I cook them for him, then they are gone in seconds barely touching his bowl! I think they smell pretty good too & I love the fact knowing that they are nutritiously complete & healthy for him. I feed them mixed into his cold pressed kibble, as 'a topper', as well as changing it up a bit with some home cooked & other brands of fresh meals, the ones he will eat, to keep his interest going. These meatballs are definitely his favourite though, so I will be stocking up my freezer for him. I like the convienience of popping out a few meatballs each night as needed, rather than a whole pack of mince, so i dont waste any. I would love to see a little 'more variety' added to the Cookable range though, maybe Turkey meatballs or Venison etc? as he (like some dogs) has sensitivities to Chicken, and possibly beef too?, however he seems to be coping ok with the small amount of beef product in the Lamb and Wild Boar meatballs, as he has them just a few times a week.”

“We've been purchasing raw food from Poppy's Picnic since 2020. Firstly for our Cockerpoo Bailey, until he passed away, now for our Cockapoo Bella, who has been brought up on 'Poppy's Picnic' since we brought him home at 12 weeks old. We use power balls as they are easy to serve, without weighing, and they have all the nutrition to keep our Bella naturally healthy.”

“My first order although, I've been feeding raw for many years now. Poppy's Picnic is definitely one of the best I've tried. I ordered all 'Raw Power' packs and absolutely no issues with the quality but it's not quite as it appears on the website. It's a neat block shape rather than freeflow mince as it looks in the pics. A minor detail! I particularly like the slightly smaller packs of 450g as that fits in better for each meal serving for us!”

“I have a 3kg toy poodle rescue, she has quite a few food intolerances and no teeth, so finding a food that suits her tummy and teeth was tough. When I watched a review about Poppy's Picnic I checked it out, and I'm so glad I did. The powerballs are an absolute god send. Much easier than weighing out portions. I simply take the righ amout of the powerball out of the freezer and defrost in the fridge overnight. I've found most raw dog food companies don't cater for small dogs, only selling huge blocks, with big chunks of bone. Not Poppy's Picnic. The other great thing is my dog loves it. I've never seen a clean bowl before, but she licks it all up. My only suggestion would be to offer all flavours in the powerballs too. At present they only have beef, lamb,wild boar and chicken. Mine is intolerant to chicken. Overall, I'm incredibly happy to have found Poppy's Picnic.”
