“I was very pleased with the service I received from Powermate. I purchased 2x Makita batteries and a Makita chainsaw. The reasons for why I didn't give the review 5 out of 5 was because the batteries turned up in very minimal packaging (a single layer of bubblewrap in a courier bag), and I had to ring up about the chainsaw not arriving due to a technical glitch. In their defence, I got straight through, and they corrected the issue immediately and I had my delivery the next day.”

“Very competitive price, easy online ordering and speedy delivery. Only criticism is the packaging could have been a bit more robust. The product, although in it's original box, was just wrapped in a plastic postage bag so the box arrived with a few dings in it. As the item was a Christmas gift I would have liked the box to be in perfect condition. A protective layer of bubble wrap would have sufficed. If it hadn't been for this, I would have given a 5 star rating.”

It would have been a very good rating, but there was no option for a guaranteed next day delivery, which I was prepared to pay extra for and the confirmation of order did not include the carriage cost I paid. Other than that, no complaints at all about the service.”
