Ì bought a load of compost on the 24 th april delivery was good but when checking bank account i found i was charged twice but they dont believe me that i only had 1 delivery but if they check my order history they would i have reported to bank as tried phone email and have just got a reply as i am 424.0 pound down very very bad customer service

Only half my order arrived a day late at 4:30pm. Customer services did offer to deliver the rest of the order (the main part) on the following working day but I was already booked on another job for the following 2 weeks so caused great inconvenience to me and my client and lost me most of a day's work. I can of course accept errors but the company seemed to wash their hands of the mistake when I contacted them about why this happened. I would have been happy with a 'sorry for the inconvenience and here's £25 off your next order' but instead they sent "We do not require someone present at the time of delivery if there is somewhere safe flat and level to deliver. We are unable to offer any compensation for any labour costs or holiday, as we do not require a signature. We cannot be held liable for any unforeseen circumstances". That's not very reissuring if you're planning on ordering some garden materials for a certain day. They did rather belatedly offer a kind of sarcastic apology "Apologies for the lack of empathy. I do not by any means want to overlook the inconvenience caused to you" or maybe that's my interpretation. Another delivery date has been arranged later in month and this is the first order I've had a problem with from this company in 6 or 7 orders. Thought I should offer that as a balance!

We ordered Tuesday for Friday but did not turn up til saturday. Also we are now stuck with a bag and a pallet we do not want. There should be a place local to return and used again

Ordered 7 tonnes of aggregate but only 5 tonnes arrived. Paid for a Saturday delivery extra and had paid help at hand to complete work. Got my money back for the extra gravel but not for the Saturday delivery. I was out of pocket as help still required payment. Very disappointed with level of customer service and support.

Firstly the call handler ordered the wrong product despite me quoting at least twice the requirement we needed. Had to get the gardener to replace order and yet another call to get refund on the first product. All in all a nightmare experience. Topsoil came on time but we paid £10 to make sure it came on the date we wanted. Unfortunately the topsoil was full of large stones so took ages to distribute on lawn and anticipate will take hours to rake them off before we can think about mowing if we want a blade left on the mower.

Ordered 26/04 requested delivery 28/04 did not want to pay extra for next day delivery Finally received delivery 03/05 after chasing it up ,if not may still have been waiting, customer service very poor ,left it up to the driver to call me. Then 2 bags arrived instead of 1 Driver was very good. ,but expecting him.to move a 1 tonne bag on his own was a joke good job I was at home Hope the soil is better

Hi John Thanks for your feed back, I have had a quick look into this for you and it seems you placed your order at 22.38 on the Wednesday 26th, having selected the standard delivery (up to 4 working days) and not the next working day delivery method. Your order was dispatched via the selected delivery method on the Thursday 27th, your order was then delivered within 4 working days (working days being monday to friday and excluding public holidays) as per the selected delivery option. You would have had to selected the next working day delivery method to have received a delivery on Friday the 28th. We are not sure why the haulier tried to deliver two bags, this is something we are taking up with them as our instructions to them were clearly 1 bulk bag not two. Please accept our apologies for this mix up and any confusion that was caused by our delivery options.

Veggie compost does not have much organic matter seems to be mostly top soil also a lot of broken glass. Contacted via live chat & sent photos but still waiting!

The delivery driver was not helpful at all. My gardener started unloading the soil and found a whole slab inside one of the bags. Not very happy
