Ordered 4000l of 'organic compost' and every bag of compost is filled with an alarming amount of foreign materials, including tiny bits of plastic, wire, glass, and metal. This contamination issue is not limited to the occasional foreign object; rather, it has permeated the entirety of the compost, covering the surface of every raised bed we have filled. Have been emailing about this to QGS every day this week, calling and have had no response. They seem to be pretty quick in responding on reviews.io so maybe I can get an explanation on here?

Awful customer service. Deliver due yesterday, (placed order on 8th so plenty of time to arrive within their 3/4 working days). Was first told after ringing myself this morning, why it wasn’t there only to find out the courtier had damaged the pallet and couldn’t deliver on the Thursday 15th. Was then told they had rung my client which they had not. We were working on the clients garden the Friday (today - 16th) and despite 2 different staff members saying 2 different times in the morning it didn’t arrive until mid afternoon. This will now mean this client rolls into next week costing us money and time. Complete shambles! Won’t be using again.

Absolute rubbish and no actions from supplier. Delivery kept being delayed. When it finally showed up with used it in places for lawn and shortly after discovering that deeper inside a bulk bag there were glass shards. Now everything needs to be siv by hand and who knows how many shards are still out in the garden.

Unhelpful and rude customer service I ordered this item ( a repeat order as the initial order of £100.44 was insufficient for the vegetable patch I ordered it for) for next day delivery this morning 27 April. I was informed on the phone by a customer service representative that my item will be delivered on Tuesday 3 May after the bank holiday even though online I could select and had selected a 29th April express delivery. I went ahead to order the item but later on was lucky to secure a local supplier to deliver to me today. I called QOS to cancel my order but was told that even if the order is not delivered tomorrow, I cannot cancel as the item has been ‘shipped’. While I can understand that there are 3rd party suppliers involved in the process, I tried to reason with the customer service agent Craig, that it was only fair if the item had not been picked to be delivered to me tomorrow for me to cancel the order ( if not delivered to me tomorrow). He was quite rude and said it is ‘presumptuous’ of us to assume that. I didn’t know QOS allowed it’s representatives to insult and be rude to its customers. It is instructive to note that at the time of calling to cancel and writing this review, I had not received the fulfilment (shipped) email confirmation which preceded the first order I made, and was a confirmation that the item had been shipped. I do not think I had made an unreasonable request especially as a returning customer at the current time where everyone is feeling the impact of rising costs, nor do I think I deserved to be spoken to the way Craig spoke to me. I know where to take my custom to next time and would advice others to learn from my experience

Expect to get less that you pay for! Ordered a jumbo bag of topsoil which should be 1200 litres. The bag that arrived has 600l at most due bag dimensions and fill level. When I queried this that gave some rubbish about extra litres in the bulged out sides and the bottom will be compacted? But to half the size?? Really? All Chris had to say was the picture looks right to him. Well I'll be using Gravel Master in future as the same size bag cost less.

Delivery of top soil was late, turf was of an uneven quality... and was followed up by aggressive sales people blaming the delivery company or anyone else for the issue... avoid this company there are plenty of other suppliers out there... not nice to deal with... AVOID

If you want a beautiful lawn do not use this company Have had my own landscaping business for 30+ years, my usual supplier of turf could not supply my turf due to covid. so ordered from this company instead. WHAT A MISTAKE. looked at their website which stated weed free turf. so ordered 40 sq. fortunately it was for my own garden. On arrival the turf looked ok, as it had been cut very short. but once it had been in place for a few weeks noticed it was infested with Annual Meadow Grass (Poa annua) which is a grassy weed. so much so I will never be able to bring it under control. contacted the company & they did not want to know They actually told me that poa was not a weed. I always expect some poa in new turf but this was infested with the stuff. (Thank goodness it was for my lawn & not a customers) If you want a beautiful lawn do not use this company.

Received item in bad condition, scratches, dents and marks. Pretty bad service and ethics. Can’t get hold of them via phone no reply to email still. Save yourself time & trouble and buy from the bigger companies where this sort of issues doesnt happen

They sent over soil with metal pieces and nails in their soil. A big nail measuring at 7 cm scrap and cut off an entire piece of skin from my finger. No means of compensation of any sort.

Stay clear !! FTC Act violations, false advertising horrific customer service. One bag of 2 arrived : wrong name address delivered. Refused to collect it as it was the same product- Turf topsoil but I had ordered Bed and Border- then they tell me it is the same thing so if I want it collected I have to pay return of 950 kg. They say they advertise vegetable, Turf and Border topsoil separately but the MD stated it was all a multipurpose topsoil. They market it like that to Google attract customers. I called the person on the delivery label and she says she ordered Vegetable topsoil not turf topsoil. This constitutes false advertising. The MD said call my solicitor and put the phone down. I had the delivery man of the 2nd bag which arrived 6 hours later take the wrong bag back. If they do not refund me I will sue out of principle

Horrendous non existent customer service. Do not answer emails, completely ignore requests. Ordered gravel and arranged delivery for 2 weeks later. Did not receive any communication so emailed 3 days before the delivery date (no one answering the phone) and got no reply. Emailed 4 times on the day of delivery as it never arrived, informed customer services I would be contacting their director and received a sarcastic and condescending reply. Gravel turned up 3 days later whilst I was at work. The gravel is great but the customer service is non existent. All emails have been completely ignored.

Ordered from them on 21st June, after several emails and numerous attempts at try to call them, still not received my order, I have made my bank aware as paid fir goods that yet to receive

Apathetic customer service. Lost a day waiting on turf that never shipped. Lost money hiring a gardener who couldn't do her job without the turf. Contacted customer service on the day, rep Chris Brier unapologetically wrote back: "[...] your order didn't come into the hub with a delivery date selected." Then proceeded to cancel the order and a refund without my consent. Despite sending over proof of the order and delivery date confirmation and asking for compensation in the form of an express delivery of the same lawn at company's cost. After following up two times for a response, Customer service rep directed me to his first email, disregarded my query, lacked any will to rectify the situation, didn't take any responsibility for the inconvenience on behalf of the company, didn't show concerned for a customer. We're all stretched thin because of the Covid situation, an attempt at an apology would have gone a long way.

Purchased three bulk bags top soil, delivered only two bags and had to laid turf on the same day. Driver knew that one bag is missing but wasn't sure where it is. Tried to contact and sent an email but received no response. Following day third bad was delivered but was refused by me, was too late for me because turf was already down. Now QUALITY GARDEN SUPPLIES ignoring my emails for refund of third topsoil bag.

As per the previous review, I would give this company a zero if I could. Had issues with my delivery due to goods being damaged. Very annoyed as I had taken a day off work to receive the delivery. After speaking to a couple of people who were no help, I eventually spoke to Ben the manager/owner, who to start with was quite helpful. His attitude soon changed when I asked for a refund as I wasn’t happy with the service. His language and attitude was appalling, I hope he wouldn’t speak to a woman like he did me, as his behaviour was totally unacceptable. (I wonder if Ben would be so brave to speak to me like that face to face!) I would think twice before using this company, the “Quality” in there company name should be substituted for “Rank Amateur” .

Unfortunately you can't give Zero star as this is how I rate them. If you don’t have tools to provide service then don’t provide it. I bought 5t of top soil. Not only my order was not processed correctly although the charges were taken from my account. When it was supposed be finally delivered it wasn’t as the surface was not smooth, although I provided specific information a day before and got told that was fine. At the end I was sked for £105 (on the top of £408 which already paid) to rearrange the delivery or £255 to cancel my order. Horrible service and a bunch of fraudsters. Never, ever use them!!!!

Extremely poor service - They didn't process the order on time so missed the delivery day, was not informed of this until I phoned after waiting on site all morning for the materials. I was still charged a premium for next day and morning delivery. When I requested the order be cancelled, they told me I would be refunded within 48 hours. I had to chase them 3 times and wait more than a week for my money, and they then missed the delivery charges off the refund. Nightmare to work with and very damaging to a small business like mine - would avoid at all costs.

Turf delivered at 5.30 in the afternoon. It was laid the very next morning. Turf has gone brown and has shrunk. Complained to Company whose only response was that the turf should have been laid immediately. I think this is unreasonable and unrealistic. They asked me to send photos , which I did, and they clearly show how awful, and what poor condition it was in. Their response to this was to tell me I should have paid an extra £15 for a pre 1 o clock delivery. I have never fome across such awful customer service and I will be reporting them to Trading Standards. I would not deal with them again under any circumstances.

Had a couple of deliveries from this company, which were fine, so I decided to order some turf from them. Unfortunately some of the turf was not of an acceptable quality and I couldn't use it. When I complained about this, their response was "it's not our responsibility because it's a natural product", which is awful customer service. The second response I received said that they would "sort it". However, they now appear to be ignoring me. This company does not live up to its name - it does not offer quality products and it provides awful customer service. I would respectfully suggest that the customer advisers who deal with complaints are given at least some basic training in dealing with customers.
