In the year I have had Quidco as a cashback site I have earned £1.23. I have actually have around £15 tracked but not paid. When asking about this I keep getting told the companies haven't paid out yet. So for orders I have made over 6 months ago, received and cleared the balances in full from some well know and respected companies the answer is always the same, "not been paid yet" although I'm sure they have been paid otherwise how could they continue to exist. I thought the leading cashback service was slow but month after month, I don't think so. If you want to make some money on a cashback service DO NOT YSE QUIDCO, they will hold back your money and fobb you off with endless reasons and excuses as to why you are not getting paid, all just hot air. Quudco, rip off merchant extraordinaire!

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review Bradley! 💙 Every retailer provides a estimated payment speed/date, those are fully estimated, sadly they are not guaranteed dates, when a transaction/claim is made successful or goes over the estimated date we do make it a priority to get that resolved as soon as possible but please be aware as the funds are provided by the retailer we are fully reliant on the cooperation of them, sorry again! - Jamie (socialsupport@quidco.com)

I had been a satisfied Premium user of Quidco for coming up for 4 years. This flipped to dissatisfaction and a loss of trust the last 9 months, when I've seen an increasing incidence of cashback being declined, typically big % offered, or big ££. Reasons for decline have typically been that 'it must be your browser set up' or 'you must have done it wrong: you didn't click through Quidco as referral site' - neither of these statements are true, I learned quite quickly how to use the referral site so it would recognise as a referred sale (and ensure browser settings are correct), and when I've been able to prove that (pictures and videos of each transaction, from quidco through to payment on retailer site), I got told 'well there is nothing we can do, the retailer refuses and we are not in contact with them, so this evidence doesn't matter.' In fairness, when contesting claims, eventually I have been offered between 5-25% of the declined cash back, however that's not the point (and I haven't accepted these as a settlement). The point is that Quidco + Retailer are advertising deals that in reality aren't honoured. And I question whether there was ever the intent to honour them. It's also odd that I know how to press the buttons on the system and I do get cashback for small amounts, regularly, but for the big amounts I somehow become totally incapable (and the evidence to support my claim to reverse the decision is not even considered as 'it doesn't matter, its up to the retailer'). And then, when yet another service person gets in touch, and Quidco run out of reasons to try blame you, the final argument is 'computer says no'. I should also say I get charged an annual fee as a Premium account holder by Quidco for this privilege. I understand times are hard, but this is misleading and unethical at best. At worst, well,... Be warned. If I could give this misleading cashback business zero stars for the last 12 months, and how they have responded, I would.

Hi, Thanks for your review today 💙 I do apologise on your experience you have had with us. We hate when cashback has been declined because not only do this mean that you miss out, but it makes the experience poor and this is the last thing we wish for any member. We do understand that this is frustrating and we do apologise on the decline you had received. We do all we can for each member we have, but when this results in a declined claim, we don't receive any commission for this from the retailer and this does mean we do also miss out as well as yourself. We do want to get as much as we can for our members for them to have a better experience with us and for you to not have any negative ones in regards to the service or cashback you acquire. I do understand that you had a declined claim and we apologise greatly for this, however as this is the retailers last response and that we cannot challenge this again, I see that we have offered you an increased goodwill gesture for the nature of the claim and complaint made. The claim was declined for the cookies which we have spoken of, and that the retailer are not obliged to tell us where the commission has been provided, this therefore does sever the cashback link to the Quidco account you hold. We do advise that cookies are cleared prior to purchases to ensure we are seen as the referrer and that this should have an impact on the future purchases made. They blocked account about 6 weeks ago, We provided them order confirmation and bank statements and after 6 weeks i sent them a reminder and they told me he is still chasing up with merchant. Merchant already confirmed my cashback but Quidco doesn’t want to pay that to me. My wife is very angry on me because one purchase was made under her name and i have sent them her details too. I can see so many peoples are complaining but Quidco management is asleep, Its could be a scam if this is the part of their policy... Terrible

Why is it so difficult to get hold of someone on Quidco. A very long drawn out process to try and sort account being blocked. Overall service not impressed. Perhaps terms and conditions need to be clearer.

Account blocked, looks like I’m in the same boat as other reviewers. Used to be a good company. Thankfully not a great amount to cash out , reminds me of the demise of another well known cashback site a few years ago

Just found out Quidco have somehow automatically made me a "premium" account so have been deducting money from me> I don't want this, don't buy enough to warrant it - and they won't let me downgrade untilOctober 2021!!! Also, there is nowhere on their site where I can contact anyone to complain or have this reversed. Hopeless!

Hey Ronald, I'm sorry to hear this, we do have the premium membership which allows you to upgrade and downgrade at any given time, we can downgrade you if you wish and have a further look into this for you. We do also have a variation of ways of how you can contact us, this can be on the app or desktop in the bottom right corner where there is a blue icon, and that we'll get back to you within 24 hours. Trying to login since last couple of days but getting messages that my account is blocked, Link is not working, they just blocked my account soon my cashback paid by retailers (after 14 months) . Logged in successfully 7-10 days ago, emailed them but No reply yet no notification received why they blocked my account. Not trust worthy cashback site such a TopCashback.

I bought many items via their app, like Ebay, House of Frasher etc. since November last year, I got amount over £50 but no at least of £1 could be rebate to my account. I chated with the C.S. , it took an half hour to have their response for one question because of not the live chat. They excused the shop did not pay them and no reply to me for how long should be took and how to follow up by them. I was very very disappointed with this cashback app. Don't trust their website.

Mesage comes up when I try login, Your account has been blocked. Please contact our Quidco support team. Tried to contact them, the link doesn't work, doesn't seem to be much help. I've got around £50 - 60 stuck in there.

Big cash back declined this year on three legal car insurance policies. No valid reason and put blame on insurance companies that they declined. If cash back is tracked automatically and policy still going on why it has been declined and can not be proceed further. What is the point to use this site and get insurance from confused.com and gocompare.com. Waste of time and false hope

Hey Paul, Thanks for the review today 💙 Each retailer have their own payment speed and tracking speed, and we see that half the retailers we have onsite track within 1 hour! Its been more the 13 months since i purchase aviva life insurance, i was told cashback will be processed in six months, then 13 months, one of them told me will be paid 9th of January and once I remind them she made excuses. Customer support is not trustworthy.

Hey Lovera, I can see that we have spoken about this and that this was an estimated date as per your screenshot you had sent, and that this cashback is slightly delayed as this retailer takes 13 months to process the cashback from the date it was purchased. As the estimated date of this being resolved was the 9th of January, this being the 13 months, we have only just elapsed the 13 months of this. This is only a recent delay in the cashback you have with Aviva and is still processing as normal from what we can see. We do understand that this is only just delayed and that we are chasing the retailer on this, but until we have any new updates on this, we will be sure to let you know 💙 -Summer (socialsupport@quidco.com)

Over the last few years I have been happy with quidco but it seems that some retailers and insurance companies seem to be dangling the carrot to get you to purchase there products by advertising cashback via Quidco then after 6 months or more they decline the payments my last insurance company that declined my payment was confused insurance of £35 and I am still waiting from direct line pet insurance to pay but probably once again no back up by the Quidco team.

After many years, I will be closing my account. I have used quidco successfully in the past but in the most recent year or so, it's gone so downhill that I opened an account with topcashback (which isn't great either, I should add). I have a premium John Lewis home and contents insurance, going out monthly, but for some bizarre reason, I've been told that my claim is invalid. This is beyond ridiculous. I have a direct debit to prove it!! Won't be using them anymore.

We will always try and aim to receive a positive outcome to cashback, however we are aware declines do occur and as cashback is given to us by the retailer we do need to go with the decline reason they provide after a claim has been fully processed. My cashback never even claims. LV the other month for car insurance and now Quidco compare for house which don’t accept to put in a missing claim and you can’t even speak to anyone . Awful company, thinking of going to too cashback

In regards to your Quidco Compare Home Insurance purchase, this does take around 6 - 8 weeks from the moment you took out your policy for this to be appear as tracking on your account.
