“I really didn't want to write up a bad review, but I have no choice. We should start with the fact that the shoes will not stay tight, somehow the dials always disengage and when I reach down to tighten back up, it is always loose. Next we can talk about the heel piece that I have to tighten up a couple times a month. The worst part is the carbon fibre sole, which is described on the website as "Handlaid, unidirectional carbon fibre sole to provide ultimate stiffness and efficient power transfer". It is not stiff whatsoever. When walking, you can feel the sole bend and give when stepping down. I can even feel it while clipped in, the sole is bouncy and is not stiff at all. I expected more out of these shoes, very disappointed.”

“I learned Quoc does not refund the hard way; after getting a shoe that did not fit, was heavy and had little apeal I asked turned it for a refund. I was expecting the purchase to be refunded to my credit card. Instead, the refund came in the form of Quoc dollars that I could only spend with Quoc. Not sure that really qualifies as a refund. Right, read the fine print.”

“The shoes didn’t fit so I had to exchange them. The exchange process takes way too long. Most online stores will ship the exchanged item as soon as the return package is received by the *post office*, not the warehouse. Had I known this before hand (it is not explicitly mentioned in the returns page, and the FAQ actually say Quoc doesn’t do exchanges) I would’ve ordered 2-3 sizes and returned the ones that didn’t fit me.”

“I purchase the QUOC Restrap Sandal in Black. Unfortunately, they were defective, and I had to return them. The main straps are held in place by a small strip of leather and rivets. When I received the sandals, I removed them from the box and tried them on. The rivets on the right sandal immediately when flying across the room. It seems Quality Control missed this defect. I'm actually glad they failed immediately as I don't think using rivets is a good design, it seems they would be prone to failing in the field. This cost me $20.00 in shipping essentially to try something on and return it.”

“Not for publisshing, but direct feedback for you, your sizes seem extremely small. I have 43 shimano and Vaude shoes but your "size 43" looked closer to a 40. Up against each other, your shoes were about 12mm shorter than both the Vaude and Shimanos. Disappointing also the returns process was difficult for us, many kms to the nearest drop off point.”

“Upon receiving my package, I was taken aback by its condition - the box was notably damaged, and the bag it arrived in was not only holed but also partially torn. It was a relief to see that, despite this, the shoes seemed to be in good condition. Unfortunately, my relief was short-lived when I realized that the replacement heel pad gums that i ordered were nowhere to be found in the package.”

“This is a review of the customer service, not the shoes. I had originally bought a size 46. They were too small so I exchanged them for a size 47. I never got the shoes. During an email conversation, they agreed to the exchange but thats where communication ceased. I have reached out multiple times about if they are going to complete the exchange or of they have shipped the new pair or if they are going to refund for the original shoe. Radio silence. I would love to try the 47s but I never received them or any communication. In their defense during the original purchase communication was good. Even when we spoke about the exchange: good. They even sent an email stating they received the original pair of 46s and stated everything looked good. Since then nothing. Where are my shoes? And if not where is my money? I would definitely prefer the shoes.”

“Shoes look nice, but I can't wear them. Despite following the sizing instructions (measuring my foot length in socks), the shoes I received are at least a size too small. Since it costs $26.50 to return the shoes and since the sizing process isn't accurate, I'm too scared to gamble on ordering another pair. Unfortunate, because I was looking for a wider, lace-up shoe. I'd prefer to buy locally, but no local Quoc dealers exist for me.”
