“Terrible support for Rain Bird. I had an issue with the Rain Bird app and called at least three times and they could not figure out what the issue was. They thought it was a software issue and were going to escalate it to their software department and get back to me. They never did. I called again and spoke to support he said they will get back to you tomorrow never did. They are the worst support they could possibly be. If you have a major issue you are on you own. They say what you want to hear and that's it.”
“Rain bird WiFi is junk. Do not buy it don’t work. I bought it 2018 and it’s 2024 and still using the same app with no updates and hasn’t worked since 2018. Their support is junk too. Pick another company”
“WLAN kann nicht installiert werden. Hatte dazu Kontakt mit unserem Gartenbauer, Rainbird in Deutschland und USA, Telekom. Unser Gartenbauer hat dann einen „Spezialisten“ beauftragt, der nach drei Stunden erfolglos aufgegeben hat. Unser WLAN sei unzulänglich. Jedoch waren drei Fernsehgeräte, zwei LapTops, drei Smartphones, Smart Home, PV-Anlage, fünf Überwachungskameras und vier WLAN-Steckdosen ohne Probleme zu installieren. Habe das WLAN-Modul zurückgegeben und meinen eigenen Workaround erfolgreich installiert.”

“Wish I had seen the reviews before ordering on Rain Bird online store. What has happend to this company? Lawn sprinkler controler damaged due to lightning strike sn reordered a replacement. Not shipped on first day for order placed on Sunday, they say they ship same day for orders placed before 9am but did not ship Monday but were able to charge my account on Monday. By Wednesday order was showing shipped via Fed-X but no tracking status available. Friday and still no tracking status available - what gives. Multiple attemps to chat unsuccessful, one attempt to get customer service said 2nd in line and 19 minute wait, responce to email takes 2-4 days. All I can say is I will never have another Rain Bird product in my system and God bless our country if this is the future of our country with AI.”
“They only shipped part of my order. I received about 1/3 of what I ordered. When I contacted them, they said everything had been shipped and delivered.”
“Rainbird sprinklers are a joke. I have spent 2 hours wasting water trying to adjust the sprinkler head. I have watched several videos that show how easy it is but its not. No matter what I do it only stops on one side and still goes all way around on the other side. There has to be other sprinkler heads out there that are better and easier to adjust. If I could give them a zero rating I would.”

tons of stuff on the app but nothing so simple as to simply click for each day the time zone, the hour ( like a 24 hour clock ) and day, to check mark each one you want active on the day. instead, it’s a lot of other stuff, crappy connectivity and no real auto schedule option on wireless controller”
“I replaced my Orbit b-hyve after it died of “NoAC” error, expecting to have a better system. The app seems to be designed by someone who never had to program an irrigation schedule. It disconnects frequently and you have to wait for at least a minute before trying to connect again. There is no test feature to test each zone. Figuring out different times and schedules for each zone seems to be impossible. I am going to return the ARC8 unit to Home Depot.”
“This company is unbelievable. I can get no one on the phone. I can't set the sprinkler because it waters all night, rain or shine. I tried going online to view the demonstration, nothing they explained appears on the screen. I have had sprinklers before and all I had to do was set the time of day, number of minutes and frequency. This stupid company expects you to do everyday individually and I cannot even read what's on the screen. I can only operate this system manually so when I go on vacation, I have to choose between no water or water all day. I might add the cost of water is very expensive in my area. I will never ever purchase anything from this company again. STUPID!!!!”
“Rainbird put the order on hold over the weekend, pending "verification" even though they withdrew the funds already. Sounds like phishing. asking for information they already had.”
“Trying to program the controller is like trying to decipher the WW2 German Enigma machine. I suspect the goal is to prevent the great "unwashed" from operating and programming the controller so that a dealer has to be summond. I even tried the video and it made virtually no sense. I know its meaningless to Rain Bird but if I ever need a new controller you can be assured it wont be a Rain Bird.”
“If I could give zero I would given it. Beware of this company at any cost. Their products might be good but their service sucks. Ordered rainbird system through their online store and order confirmation said it will be delivered in two business days. It’s been more than 7 business days and constant follow ups with their reps is pain. it’s difficult to deal with rude customer service executives who don’t even listen to anyone. Called FedEx and they say they don’t any information and asks me talk to supplier. I don’t have any options but to file for chargebacks.”
“Ordering from the Rain Bird store has been a nightmare. Received notice from my credit card company that the order had been paid for, then received multiple emails from Rain Bird saying my order was placed in "Review Status" each time I called I was assured that order would be shipped. Huge mistake not ordering from Amazon.”
“I purchased sprinkler head nozzles and I have no problem with the product. However, I do have a big problem with shipping such a small item in a large cardboard box resulting in outrageous shipping fees. The product could easily fit in a very small envelope and ship USPS.”
