Fast shipping, secure packaging and very competitive pricing. However, my shipment email neither contained an easily identifiable tracking number or any reference to the shipping company. There is no point in shipping quickly and delivering within a 2 hour slot if the receiver is not around to sign for it. So, this has cost you a star.

Update: Rapid response from Rapid! Within an hour of posting this review the team sent out a new, fully checked, replacement Function Generator. I have 'upped' my star rating accordingly. Thanks for your quick action Rapid. --------------------------------------------------------------- Received a faulty item. Contacted customer service immediately then waited another day to get RMA number. Item re-packaged & collected on Thursday 23rd March (should have been received back at Rapid on Friday 24th March). As of today 28th March (pm) I have had no communication whatsoever. I told customer service rep that I was on holiday from 30th March so I will not get a replacement until, at best, 7th April. This was a simple fault to confirm (took me only 10 minutes to discover the fault) so should not take so long for the technical department to verify issue and send replacement unit. Not impressed.

Competitive prices, super fast delivery at a reasonable cost. However, the reason I have not rated as 10 is because the "Cream" poster paper I order was pretty much the same as the "Lemon" paper, not the off-white colour I was expecting.

I've been a customer of Rapid for close on 30 years. Considering I pretty much buy from every supplier known to man, it takes some to keep me coming back. Don't sit on your laurels through - your takeover by Conrad has seen a lot of your prices rise to silly levels and consequentially you've lost that part of my business to other vendors. I hope that whoever has my job in 30 years time will still count Rapid as a supplier.

Delivery was probably fast, items well packed, good communication. I would advise to change parcel company. Card was left with wrong property down the road. Only on phoning rapid online it was revealed that card was left with wrong property, neighbour applied online for re delivery and printed form for re delivery , but re delivery was not made. So neighbour unable to see who parcel was for. I had to investigate who has got my card and collect from depot. This is not the first time with that company. Also public has no way of actually speaking with customer service of said parcel company since all automated and no option to speak with a real human. They disconnect call.

I've been using Rapid for many years and always been happy with their service. Pricing can vary which has lead me to seek some components and equipment elsewhere for cost saving. Delivery is fast and free (as long as you spend more than £30 excl VAT) The inevitable incorrect item has always been resolved quickly. The website is easy to use but some items are difficult to find and often found by chance rather than searching. Customer service is quick to respond and if you have any queries, questions are often answered very quickly. Returns are not easy, though. As a business customer, anything that isn't quite as expected is subject to a 20% restocking fee, together with a return carriage cost, causes me to keep an unsuitable item and means I consider making a purchase if the item isn't going to be suitable, it also means I look elsewhere with no-quibble returns in case it needs to go back. Furthermore, if anything comes from their European warehouse (which can take 5-7 days for delivery) then there is no possibility of return. I sometimes find I 'make-do' with certain components and items as it is all there is. A wider range and choice of some products is very useful. This means that some items are sought elsewhere.
