“Dispatch and delivery were very quick, however due to the delivery service that was used I wasn't made aware that my item had arrived. And when it came to picking it up from postal services I had found that they had sent the wrong product. Thankfully this was corrected”

“The online chat facility was helpful, but the information i was given wasn't accurate enough. I was told delivery was 2-3 days (and there was an express option which i needed to find for myself).”

“Service was excellent with good comms keeping me informed at all stages. The delivery firm UK mail was useless could not deliver on time with very poor excuses. I think that better packaging for delicate items is required, some of the rods were damaged but were replaced without problem. A change of delivery firm would have made it a good experience!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Quite an easy to use site, although images that represent product categories are sometimes misleading. Postage+Packing seemn a bit high - a £4 element I purchased recently, although dispatched efficiently and with me the next day , cost nearer £10 by the time i got it.”

“It would have been better if you had used the delivery address that I gave you rather than some hybrid of the delivery address and the invoice address. Fortunately the order was delivered. Also I find your packs of IC sockets contain rather too many items. Not only do they contain more sockets than I will ever need, but it makes the package very bulky such that the postman cannot get it through the letter-box.”

“The order process is efficient to operate although finding the postage rate is a bit fiddly. Orders arrive quickly and well packed. The website is not the easiest to navigate to find what you want if you do know the Rapid online part number. I recently purchased 2 Hammond boxes but spent some time navigating the alternatives before I arrived at the units I wanted.”

“This was my first order with Rapid and after dealing with Farnell recently dealing with them was like a breath of fresh air. I ordered around 25 different items and all except one were in stock and dispatched promptly for next day delivery and were delivered on time as promised, well packaged, complete, and with the correct items. I've dealt with RS for the past 29 years and have seen their service decline rapidly over the last five years or so. I think Rapid will be my new favoured supplier.”

“1) Having bought from RE many times in the past my order history used to be available to view so I could easily reorder without having to look for my regular items. With successive changes to the website this history has not been carried over - at least twice! Very annoying. 2) The latest website incarnation is good, but still suggests too many irrelevant products when searching. 3) Ordering/payment/delivery were faultless as always. Really would have liked to have given 2 stars for part 1, 3 stars for part 2, and 5 stars for part 3.”

“I couldn't see any information as to the gauge of the Muscle Wire 5-pack, so I had hoped it would be in several sizes. Not so - all five are the same (.006") as stated on the packaging. Why not put this info on the site? Doesn't matter much to me as I was only experimenting, but most people might need to know.”
