“I give 4 stars when I get the service I expect - hassle free and prompt. My only query is why couldn't I find an option to opt out of future marketing info. Not an option during registration, not an option when I logged in and checked my account details. I am hoping this means they don't use my details for marketing - which would be very good.”

“I ordered components to make up 20 sets for scouts to make LED colour change Poi balls. The order arrived very promptly and was the best overall price compared to similar suppliers. Only problem was that there were only 19 Pic chips. Fortunately I had a spare from preparing the project so no problems. Customer service were apologetic and said they'd send out another, but that hasn't been delivered... maybe starting to get slowed up in xmas mail?”

“Excellent value and service. I have used this company for well over a decade and have never had a mis-picked or badly packed order and some of their items are a fraction of the price of their competitors. The only drawback is items often go out of stock and despite expanding their range in the last few years, they do lack certain key items (I was unable to buy a DisplayPort cable with my last order, for example).”

“The online ordering and dispatch was excellent but you have been let down by your delivery system as at 1000hrs today 5th December I have not received the goods. The firm stated they attempted delivery but no card was left to say so, then they said it would be delivered on Monday of this week and still no delivery. They say they guarantee delivery today, lets see. Excellent service spoilt by the delivery method.”

“1) I have received the parcel an hour ago although the provided tracking number (http://www.dhl.co.uk/content/gb/en/express/tracking.shtml?brand=DHL&AWB=514175-983119) prove to be useless (not found on DHL database). 2) Would have found useful to get as suggestion while validating my cart to suggest buying as extra an earthing point. As shipped outside the UK, either of these would surely have been part of my order, if only I knew the crocodile clip mentioned on the data sheet referred on the product page http://www.rapidonline.com/pdf/87-9528.pdf wasn't shipped with the product as the product code differs (accordingly 069-0012 HTML and 069-0002 PDF) : • Bondline Bananagator Insulated Crocodile Clip ; OR Earth Bonding Points ; OR BJZ ESD Earth Binding Box - Ring Terminal ; However I'll use an adapter until the next order :)”

“Alas, LED equivalent R16 spotlights had too narrow a beam angle, so they did not illuminates the kitchen evenly. One was OK in cupboard, and one refused to work in cloakroom (bright when switched on, but dim after half a second). Not a fault of Rapid Electronics - I just made a bad choice.”
