“I ordered 4mm banana plugs and extra-flexible wire. Free delivery was very quick, less than 48 hours from ordering. Unfortunately, some bags of plugs were short so I e-mailed Rapid and also mentioned that some colours of wire were not as flexible as extra-flex should be (IMO). They all had the same finely-stranded copper conductors but the insulation was too rigid on some colours. Rapid promptly made good the plug shortages without quibble but did not respond to my criticism about the wire. So, the cheap Truconnect 4mm plugs are fine but count them carefully. The red, black, white and yellow extra-flex wires are also fine but, IMO, avoid the green and blue. Speed of response very good.”

“Good product range and high quality. Very fast delivery. Only thing that stops me giving a "very good" is the annoying need for a username and password every time. I now have so many of these that I can't remember them all. It can be just as quick and secure, with less hassle to shop as a "guest", as some other companies allow.”

“The goods arrived very quickly by DHL in perfect condition. However I did not need to get the goods so quickly, so I would have liked a cheaper postage option, instead of DHL Express being the only delivery choice. My order had a value of GBP 35, and the freight costs was GBP 21. That's a big freight cost compared to the value of the merchandise.”

“Goods were delivered promptly and were as described but, on unpacking, unfortunately one of the items had been incorrectly picked from the shelves! I complained to Sales / Customer Services who organized re-delivery of the correct items the next day. Very good response but a lack of communication from Customer Services in that there was no notification to expect the new delivery.”

“I've used Rapid for years but only recently started using them again so signed up anew. Performance is still high - quick delivery, fair prices and what they say is in stock is in stock. I think the range of components has some gaps - but it compares well to other education/hobby suppliers.”

“The product quality and value for money was, as always, excellent. Unfortunately there was a picking error with the order which resulted in an incorrect product being delivered. HOWEVER the excellent after sales service resulted in the correct item being delivered within 24 hours so there was no inconvenience caused. I wish all of my suppliers wewre as reliable as Rapid.”
