“Good Pricing. Poor communication. You never know when goods will arrive. You dont get an email when goods are dispatched. You wait in and it does not arrive til following day. You go out and it arrives in 24 hours.”

“Generally excellent service - correct goods sent, well packed, fast delivery, etc. My only slight disappointment is that there seem to be more products temporarily out of stock, but that may be a world supply problem beyond the control of Rapid Electronics. All other things are brilliant.”

“Good communication and delivery but could not give "very good" as rating, because two items shown in stock when ordered turned out to be on back order. This resulted in a split batch delivery otherwise would have given top rating, still recommended as good.”

“Very good, fast response (items ordered one day, delivered two days later). Maybe I've been spoiled by Farnell which makes this review particularly picky, but Rapid are pretty good too. Farnell do next-day delivery on orders up to 7pm or later, so when I ordered at 10am from Rapid, I hoped (maybe even expected) by components the next day. But 48hr delivery is still pretty good. Rapid are also cheaper for some components, and in this case, I used Rapid because they had DIP packaged ICs as well as surface mount SOIC versions. For prototyping, DIP is just easier to work with. Rapid are very good. It's just a shame that Farnell are awesome, otherwise I'd be a regular Rapid customer!”

“Generally a good experience. The range can be a bit patchy in places (eg audio plugs from a given manufacturer but not the sockets) and some stock items don't have data sheets which can be an issue but these are relatively minor niggles.”

“Site very easy to use and fast delivery. Only gripe is the high cost of postage to NZ. Didn't seem to matter if I ordered a few components that could have been put in an envelope, or a lot of stuff, the postage (around 40 UK pounds) was the same. If postage was more proportional to weight and/or size I would use this company more often.”
