“I had the Cryptowall 3.0 invade my pc and lockdown my photos and files on an external harddrive. I googled the HELP_DECRYPT file the Cryptowall installed in ever folder of the backup harddrive. It is a ransomware software that messed up years of photos and files. One of the solutions that came up in the google was Reimage so I clicked on their link to learn a bit about them and ended up getting the one-time cleanup. After Reimage software scanned my pc, it found the ransomware on my C: drive as well and cleaned it up. Although, my external backup harddrive photos and file were still unviewable. I returned to Reimage and ordered the year-long package so I could maintain technical support. I received a prompt to call Reimage and Aliza, Tina and Airha were able to rescan the pc and see that C: drive was reinfected and I mentioned that the external harddrive files were still unviewable. They were patient and kind with me and assured me that their technicians would do everything they could to fix my pc and recover some pretty important pictures of mine. They were successful at using their tools to rid my pc of trojan viruses, malware and the damage Cryptowall 3.0 did to my pc and external backup harddrive. Unfortunately, my pictures were clear of viruses and malware, but were unrecoverable. But they gave me good advice about future backups and assistance for the next year. Service was excellent.”
