Total scammers! Mislead you to think you are booking through the actual hotel when in fact they are a third party who charges a hidden, additional fee to use them. Not to mention, when we checked in at the hotel on our arrival date, we were hit with considerable fees/taxes that they did not cover in their quote.

MINUS 0 STARS This company is extremely false & misleading. They are not transparent about their hidden fees/policies in the online booking nor in the itinerary, you receive once you book. I chose the price of the guaranteed free cancellation prior to our arrival. When I attempted to adjust the dates with a customer service representative, they indicated that I had to cancel my booking with them, and reschedule, my reservation price increased substantially and I had to pay another reservation counter fee. This is completely false and misleading, as the itinerary clearing states "You can cancel free of charge" - "we do not charge any additional changes or cancellation fees". Call the hotel directly or use another company. Such a horrible experience. The customer service representative clearly said, on the phone "I don't know why you are making this so difficult". Really? When I booked online it clearly said - to adjust or cancel my booking free of charge until a certain point. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT - THEY SCAM & MISLEAD. Nowhere did their itinerary state what this customer service representative told me on the phone. As a business owner - I am appalled by this experience.

Do not use this site!!!! They are a rip-off!!! I was trying to make a reservation but fortunately, it never went through. I tried it twice neither time it did not go through. Come to find out it charged me $19.99 twice. When I called to get my money back they said I have to wait 5 to 7 business days until the charge falls off. After reading all these bad reviews I hope I can get my money back.

This is an absolute scam. It took more than 45 minutes to try and cancel a reservation I could not make because of an ice storm. Do not use this service. Agents barely speak english and are very rude.

I reserved with reservations.com and they confirmed my nightly rate then added $190 of "taxes and fees" to the bill. I didn't see these charges until the confirmation email. I ask to cancel and they said there is no refund and you can't change dates or cancel. I later received a nasty email from them and they distributed my cell phone number to SPAM companies that called my cell phone 75+ times a day now for three days. This is a DISHONEST and fraudulent company that needs to be exposed.

Reservations.com for the hotel stay I used is a dishonest and misleading company that does not offer any value but rather serves to overcharge users, and the dispute resolution service is clearly designed to convolute and further frustrate customers so they will simply go away in frustration. You must contact the hotel directly. DO NOT EVER USE WWW.RESERVATIONS.COM

Better triple check everything before you do the confirmation. Their website flipped our reservation to another city and we didn't notice until i got the reservation in an email. Wrong city in wrong province and they stated when i called, too bad so sad it is non refundable.

I wish I could give them no stars or negative black marks....this company is nothing but a scam located in the Philipines and taking advantage of American travelers.. What they do is add their name in a very unsuspecting way to end of every hotel or other service so you think you are working directly with the hotel, etc. But you are NOT. First thing they add on a $19.99 charge, and then, increased the amount charged to my credit card by $170 over the cost of the room...an almost $200 complete rip off. Fortunately, my bank caught it and called to see if I had authorized the charge....when I said no, I had to have that card canceled and now going through the hastle of letting everyone now of my new card numbers. Be careful about seeing their name at the end of a hotel you would like to book...Do your research and call the hotel directly. Beware

I made reservation by error as I believed I was dealing direct with hotel, reallized error, called within 3 minutes and I was not allowed to cancel reservation. Very disappointed as they are charging me $30 a night more then the hotel directly.

Tried to book with Great Wolf Lodge and was taken to this site. Asked if they were Great wolf lodge and they said yes. Booked 2 rooms for $224 per night. At the end of the call they said thank you for booking with reservations.com. That made me think something wasn't right. I called the hotel and found that I had been overcharged by $200. I called to cancel (10 minutes later) and they said that they would cancel but they got to keep the $67 booking fee. FOR 10 MINUTES!!! I'd give them a negative score if it were possible. Total Rip Off. Even after losing $67 dollars to them I still saved more than $150 on the hotel.

I used this site to book night at the Marriott in Muncie Indiana. I thought I was dealing with Marriott directly. I booked the one night at 169.00. The charge an additional fee of $102.00 for what, who knows. I tried to get this off my charge but they refused. Marriott does not charge this when you book with them directly. I continued to pursue a refund at least for the fee because I ended up not going due to a family emergency. After I told them I would give a bad review and take up this issue with my local authorities they said they would refund me the money. That was on October 8th. It was supposed to take 10 days to get the refund. Now I am getting the run around. They keep telling me to check with my bank. Well there is no refund and they are just stalling enough so I woud give up. DO NOT BOOK ANY THING THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!! They charge outrageous fees and there is a no cancel clause regardless of circumstances. I am not giving up and will pursue as far as I can go.

I was taken to the reservation.com site when I googled the hotel directly and didn't realize until after booking when I received the confirmation email that it was not booked with the hotel but with a 3rd party site that charged extra fees. I cancelled it 6 minutes after I booked it. I didn't see the credit back on my account so I called the 800 number and was told that I would not be getting a refund due to their cancelation policy. This is very misleading. When I cancelled it I thought that I had until 10/18 at 10:00AM and it was 10/11 10:57 PM. I have now been on the phone for 39 minutes asking to speak to a supervisor and she keeps coming back every few minutes telling me the same thing. This is their policy and I agreed to it when I booked the reservation. I keep asking to speak with a supervisor or someone to file a complaint and each time she tells me they will say the same thing and there is nothing she can do. Now she just came back and said that she will see if the hotel will provide a refund. Is she trying to tell me that they have already paid the hotel the money I paid them minus their fees? Is this how this works. Anyone have any suggestions? Each room in this reservation is refundable for a limited time: This booking is subject to a fee of 1 night's room and tax. There is no refund for no-shows, early checkouts, or cancellations after 10/18/2022, 10:00 AM (America/New York).

When we checked in to the hotel after paying this site in full, the manager told us there was no booking under our name and that it is a scam site. Hyatt sold us a new room and advised us to call our credit card company. Immediate help and charge back from AMEX. Reservations.com is practicing fraud

My wife had a medical emergency and we were unable to travel. Reservations.com said that I was too late to cancel - too bad - we got your money. Never use this service - they are just a bunch of scammers. I would give them negative stars if I could.
