Service fees are ridiculous and the room rates were more expensive than what the hotel directly offered!

They advertise cancellations will have no penalty. Then they say the service fee is not refundable. So, there is a penalty. Worthless company!

I paid 195 euros for my reservation at Colombo Chinamon red, and they never sent the voucher with my payment, to the hotel, they never refunded my money. beware they are scammers and petty thieves.

Don't book. Charged me $20 Booking Fee. Watch the internet address when booking a motel online. Reservations.com will come up when you think you're booking through the motel you want! As with other reviews, it says you can cancel anytime, but if you do, they won't refund the booking fee, which was $20 for me. My Credit Card company investigated this fraud and said they could not refund the money.

I made a reservation on 17 July and fully prepaid for it. I arrived at my hotel on 10/10/2023, to be told the reservation was never paid for, and the hotel demanded payment before I could check in. Several calls and emails later, the matter is still not resolved, and the customer service keeps telling me to wait. UNACCEPTABLE!! These guys are thiefs!!

I needed to move my reservation by 1 day , from the 2 and 3 to the 3 and 4. Three weeks before check in. The hotel said no problem. Reservations.com said no. I was told I could change it up to 48 hours before. But I was told absolutely not. Do not use them! Dianne

“Our customers are our top priority” what a LIE this comment is… the only thing they are good at is taking your hard earned money!!!! I recently was online trying to book a decent hotel for a mother daughter trip in March 2024. Being that I am a single mom working 3 jobs trying to make ends meet I thought a little get away was needed. I seen a price that worked within my budget on Reservations.com and went ahead booked a two night stay. I received notification that I went over my limit on my credit card and was charged an overlimit fee. I did not realize they had charged me in US funds when I live in Canada trying to book a hotel in Montreal Canada. Why would I book this in American funds?!!! I immediately called Reservations.com and they wouldn’t help me reverse my refund. I was in communication back and forth explain, begging, pleading with them on this honest mistakes. We all make them and this one was going to cost me $900 with the exchange rate and the hotel even approved for my refund and they still wouldn’t help me. Shame on them!!!!! Now, I am out $900 for nothing. I would NEVER EVER use Reservations.com to book anything again and this is why I want to let everyone know not to use them either!!! SHAME ON YOU RESERVATIONS.COM ALL YOU DO IS TAKE PEOPLE’S HARD EARNED MONEY AND NOT HELP PEOPLE FOR A HONEST SIMPLE MISTAKE!!!!!

Horrible company. Will never use reservations.com again. Won't refund reservation that was cancelled the next business day and was 7-days prior to check in at the hotel.

Liars and thieves. Hurricane refugee didn't know area. Thought I was on the Red Roof Inn website. Then saw reviews after I had clicked reserve. Absolutely no help whatsoever. 30min after I reserved I cancelled and they kept all the taxes and one night. The lie was when they pretended to call Red Roof Inn for a refund. Of course they just put me on hold and said they didn't get an answer. My credit card did nothing either.

Horrible HOrrible website. I talked to the cust service rep and the manager a few times, which btw, all calls always get routed to the Philippines, he actually was a very unprofessional and rude guy. Hotel booking, terrible add-on charges. DO NOT BOOk. i accidentally did as their website looks similar to another one i normally book thru. Never had seen this site and never will. its like having a reservation and yet going in blind..WALK AWAY

paid reservations.com for hotel stay when I went to check out the hotel charged me again said they had not received full payment from reservation .com total rip off I cant get the hotel or reservations.com to help would NEVER recommend

I'm fairly good at making sure I NEVER book through an agency - even I got caught out! I thought I was dealing direct with the hotel - I paid reservations.com almost £300 for 2 nights accommodation - the hotel rate was actually £92 inc breakfast!!!! Probably passes as legal but iniquitous profit making

Reservations.com 390 N Orange Ave. Orlando, FL 32801 USA 855-956-2201 On June 21, 2023 I went online for the purpose of securing a hotel reservation (for one night, June26, 2023) at “Founders Inn and Spa”(a Hilton Property) 5641 Indian River Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. At that time I correctly entered the date of my request and also saw a price quote of $117 per night (plus taxes). Then without noticing, I was transferred into a website called “Reservations.com” (which did not appear on the Google Maps list of booking sites). I then entered my credit card number and completed the reservation request. My confirmation advice shows room rental dates of July 30 and August 1, 2023. The total cost for this is stated to be $480.18. My credit card was initially charged about $557 for this reservation. When I saw the transaction notice, I immediately (within minutes) called“Reservations.com”, explained the situation and asked for a cancellation and refund. I was advised that this reservation was “not cancelable”. I was then offered the option to request a cancellation through management, but there would be a “cancellation charge” of $455.78. That amount (plus $24.40 in “fees”) appears on my credit card account. I also called “Founders Inn and Spa” (757-424-5511) who offered me a full refund, but “Reservations.com”would have to call the hotel for a refund authorization. I received an email from “Reservations.com” on June 26, 2023 that a refund would not be forthcoming. This company is a scam website business.

These are the worst people to deal with. Thieves and scum. Never use them. A very expensive mistake. Wish I had read all the reviews before I made the reservation.

They will overcharge you then promise a refund, but charge $19.99 do do it. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM

In a matter of minutes after booking a room with a King, my confirmation tells me it's a twin double room (acessable). After calling RESERVATIONS.COM and talking with managers and all, no one would, could or was willing to change the room to the room we requested. The room I checked was a king, that's all I know, how it was changed doesn't matter. I still want to use reservation.com, and stay in the same hotel, the same day, just a different room. NO ONE ON RESERVATIONS>COM were willing or able to help rectify a simple snaffu. Use Expedia, Trivago, any other reservation company, their additional price ups were more than their competioion as well.

RUINED OR VACATION - I BOOKED A ROOM FOR 4 NIGHTS FOR A 2 BD SUITE. I WENT TO CHANGE MY DATES AND IT DOWN GRADED OUR ROOM. WE HAVE 8 PEOPLE ALL SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR. NOT OK. WE PAID FOR A 2 BD SUITE WE DID NOT GET IT THANKS TO RESERVING.COM NOT HAVING ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WHEN THEY DO EMAIL YOU BACK SEVERAL DAYS LATER, THEY WILL NOT FIX THEIR WEBSITES' MISTAKES. THEY RUINED OUR VACATION.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. I tried to book a hotel for a visitor for one night. I called Reservations.com. They said my credit card had been declined, so while I had them ON THE PHONE I called my bank. The CS rep at the bank said that my card had been charged TWICE for the same booking - THREE times for the $20 FEE. Nevertheless, the booking NEVER went through, I never received a confirmation and had to call the hotel directly to book the room. The next day, I called Reservations.com for a refund and they told me to email their support group, which I did. I even sent them a screenshot of the charges to my card. I will update when I find out how difficult it's going to be to get my money back. They have yet to respond. Needless to say DO NOT USE RESERVATIONS.COM TO BOOK A HOTEL OR ANYTHING ELSE!
