Love the product… great to give as gifts but it’s the staff that really make shopping here a pleasure.

That was my first time visiting the shop. Was looking for a present and Hilary was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and supportive until I find the right present. Great experience, I’ll be definitely looking forward to there again!

Has anyone found a quality products like Ritual Cosmetics? I too, have had trouble with payment. Customer Service recommended getting their app which doesn't load. Last time I order their products, I was told use Chrome instead of Safari. I was on the phone with a rep for over an hour to process my payment. This time I have to wait for someone from Holland to email back to me. I have given up and am looking for alternatives. Their customer service is anti-service and is an obstacle toward purchases.

Parcel was delivered badly damaged! This was ordered as a gift. Customer services refused to send a replacement and wanted me to return the damaged goods and re order! I explained I didn’t have the time to do this but they were very unhelpful!

My product was not delivered due to “incorrect address”.. I called customer service and they said it’s your fault eh so what we can do is cancel your order and give you a refund and you can re-order your products.. so I checked with Post NL to find out what happened.. they then confirmed that my address was already correct but it somehow went wrong.. I called once more and my colleague took over to speak in Dutch and the customer service yelled at my her.. so in the end, I ended up without the products and ofcourse I couldn’t re-order them as they were on sale last night and now the items are gone.. better spend your well earned money elsewhere

Bad service of the online store. I ordered a product at a discount, the order was processed for a week, and then they wrote back that the product was out of stock.They wasted my time and money, because during this time I could have ordered another product at a discount.

They couldn't find my house for delivery. Gave me twice a gift card of 10pounds which is not working. Not happy about this service!

Horrible products and awful customer service. I buy Rituals products in the UK where I live but the experience in US is very different..i don't recommend their website nor their products in US. Google should ban their website as misleading and deceitful

Visited the Plymouth store and was treated to an informal but incredibly knowledgeable introduction to rituals products from Katie. She listened to me, something that is sadly lacking in many shops today. I left with some beautiful legend of the dragon products, really eye catching display. Katie signed me up and I will be back next week with my mother who has agreed to buy me an advent calendar. Katie, I work in retail and your technique was a revelation, no hard sell but I felt you held my hand through the whole experience. I didn’t come in to buy but feel I am now a converted rituals fan.

Very impressed with Courtney (Buchanan St, Glasgow). She went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service and problem solving. I had an issue using a One4all gift card as my total amount spent, £76.40 exceeded the card value of £50. Courtney explored various options and contacted her company to try to resolve. She was pleasant, patient and friendly throughout. Unfortunately, and not for the want of trying on her part, I was unable to redeem my ONE4ALL voucher. Bizarrely, it would not let me pay excess on my debit card or top up gift card to value required. I eventually paid for it on my debit card because of the excellent service provided by Courtney. However, I'm not impressed with the regulations of ONE4ALL. This was a gift given to me in good faith for my 60th birthday so the whole point was to treat, and not cost myself! I would most definitely NOT recommend buying ONE4ALL as a gift. Alternatively, I would happily buy or recommend a Rituals gift card instead.

Item delivered damaged. Poor packaging and even poorer customer service/ response. Did not rectify and left extremely unsatisfied. This was meant to be an Easter gift for my Mother. I now have to give her a damaged gift. Completely unacceptable. Would NOT recommend!

Rituals products are amazing, and in-shop service too.. but online customer service is a nightmare. My order had an attempted delivery on a day we were not at home, and it was brought back to a warehouse. Since then (10 days!) I tried to contact Rituals through any available channel to get it redelivered… but nothing. Impossibile to talk to anyone. Now I had to buy replacement gifts as I don’t believe anymore this will get to be by Christmas… and I can’t even find a way to get a refund. Horrible experience.

Received a DAMAGED PRODUCT that was PACKED DAMAGED Told I would receive a replacement. NO INFO NOR SHIPPING INFO. Called CS& was told the replacement order went to the NETHERLANDS and the order was CLOSED. I live in the US, have a US address, so how is this even possible???

The customer service is a disgrace. I ordered a perfume gift box on December 1st as a Christmas present. Needless to say it didn’t arrive until December 29 th despite the promise of a 5 day delivery. When the perfume arrived and I opened the package i was greeted by a cloud of perfume. The gift box was broken and the perfume bottle was shattered and all over the box… When I contacted customer service they didn’t answer for 2 weeks after which I received a pre-written mail in wich I was instructed to send the package back. They didn’t apologize nor did they include a label to send the package back. There is no chance that I would ever order from rituals again. Their customer service, their shipping and packaging is just awful. Even though the company tries so hard to be a luxury brand this shows they still have an extremely long way to go.

I have almost everything from limited Amsterdam edition. And im really sad, because it is limited! I love the scent. If you could make shampoo, conditioner and heat protection spray with the same scent, im def gonna buy it for the rest of my life.

Extremely poor customer service. Placed an order 10 days ago. Money taken but not received my order. Emailed Rituals 2 days ago. Reply was they will look into it. Not heard back so called today and they were least bothered that I had not received my order and were clueless about were it would be or when I will receive it. MY ADVICE: DO NOT PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER AS YOU ARE UNLIKELY TO RECEIVE IT !!

First of all I love rituals body products and the staff at Covent gardens store were wonderful My bad review is based on the hair care, I purchased tailor made shampoo and conditioner at a price of £30. (I consider this to be very expensive, but I was treating myself) I used the products once and they ruined my hair, it was left looking and feeling like a Brillo pad! Despite the fact that it had just been cut and was in fairly good condition to begin with, I contacted customer service who emailed me back and basically said tough! The said that they would pass my concerns on to the innovation team. That my hair may eventually adjust and improve if I continue to use it, i was not prepared to take the chance as my hair was visibly breaking after one use! I honestly expected more from a company such as rituals, Not only have I wasted £30 on the products I bought I also had to spend a further £10 on deep conditioning products to try and repair some of the damage. My advice if your hair is at all dry or curly or coloured or permed, or straightened or you use heat for styling ( so basically nearly everyone) stay away from the hair care!
