“I like the look but the sizing is a bit snug. Normally I am a medium 14 to 16. This gilet is marked 16/XL. I find this puts me off placing other orders. Disappointed. Hence 3 stars”

“Good service and a quality hat at reasonable price, my only disappointment with my purchase is the style, the hat doesn’t suit me as the brim is very wide & floppy not shaped to keep its appearance to such an extent that it is not used & I have purchased another hat to replace it.”

“Very tight to get on, comfy once they’re on but I had to make a small slit in the back of the heel, fortunately jeans cover it, certainly not a normal 40 but having worn them indoors couldn’t return”

“Lovely products, but unfortunately sizes are small. I usually get away with an 18 easily, I ordered size 20 so they were loose. However I couldn’t wear them out at present as fit where they touch!! All the joys of being large busted!!”

“The Rydale shirt that I ordered is great, and I am very happy with it. EVRI (formerly Hermes) the courier company are absolutely useless as they were before the rebranded because their ratings were so bad. EVRI delivered to the wrong house, despite having explicit instructions, and had delivered to my house the previous week, albeit a day late . I did managed to eventually track down the most recent delivery, and rescue my parcel, no thanks to EVRI. My advice is to use DPD and dump EVRI, as customers will stop ordering from Rydale as the EVRI delivery service is so abysmal.”

“The lable on the back the wellies was peeling of. Tried to contact them but it wouldn't except my message on the link that was there. Had no option but to give them to my child as she was going on a school trip and needed them.”

“For the Hannah skirt I would give five stars. However on the website it said it was washable but when the skirt arrived it says dry clean only and although I have phoned and emailed I am still waiting for an answer!!!!”

“I was pleased that rydale are selling larger sizes but they are not UK sizes. I ordered size 22 shirts that are more like a 14. Very disappointed ☹️”

“Disappointed to find that the products I purchased are made abroad. The company widely uses the Union Flag on its products & advertises its British heritage. Disingenuous at best.”

“I wanted ankle boots with a zip because I have a high in-step and can't get my feet into pull-on boots. These zip boots look stylish, have nice chunky soles and are reasonably priced. A minor gripe is that my high in-step means that the opening gapes when trying to zip up and the tongue is too narrow so the edge of it gets caught in the zip.”

“Unfortunately the boots I received were really poor quality and fell apart within weeks of receiving them. Both tassels are broken, the leather has started to come away from the elastic on the backs of both boots and is all frayed and tatty. The structure at the heel of each boot has started to collapse. Just generally not great unfortunately as otherwise they are comfy boots that did look good until they started to fall to bits! I did submit a complaint last week before leaving this review but no one has come back to me unfortunately.”

“Ordering was easy. Delivery was very quick. Item's well made. Unfortunately, I bought the 'Men's Waterproof Walking Jacket - Warter' as a gift. The recipient, walking in 13°C dry weather with the jacket open ended up soaking wet from perspiration. There is no ventilation. Just to add insult to injury the price has now dropped £10.”
