“As of yet I have had no call to use it”

“I ordered a Danby jacket, and when it arrived it had a few serious manufacturing defects. I contacted Rydale and they said to return it and they would send a replacement. The new jacket arrived and the quality of the finish appears very good, but as it is a jacket for autumn/winter weather I can't comment on the technical performance. Hopefully it will not disappoint.”

“Just as described on the tin - warm and well-made. However, marked down a star for anomaly in sizing: XL and 2XL the same size when worn, due to a lot of a faffing about in trying to get correct size, which is 3XL.”

“The sleeveless blouses are very stylish and well made but the sizes vary, although all 3 that I bought are the same style. I had a 12 and a 14 identical in size and another 14 which was much bigger and I had to return it for a smaller size. Other than that, they are great to wear.”

“I’m absolutely delighted with this waistcoat, in all respects bar one. The materials are superb in weight & texture, and the pockets are uniquely useful (so far as I know, nobody else makes a waistcoat with four pockets like this). My only criticism is of the finishing of the buttonholes. The accompanying photo show this. The darker material is my purchase, and for comparison, the lighter material is another waistcoat made by Dunn & Co, which I’ve had for years.”

“Lovely wee shoes - and yes the size 4 fitted perfectly when I’m usually a 5. I’d only agree with a previous review that the inside lining does not seem to be the same standard as the rest of the show and I’ve bought soft leather insoles as the fabric inside was a bit scratchy. Having said that they are great value and good looking.”
