“The aftersales is shocking!
If i could leave minus 5 stars i would.
The fitters cracked a unit upon getting the order fitted and now a month into the situation i have heard every excuse in the book for getting the unit replaced,like the window did not arrive from the factory,the window has been sent at the wrong depot,the fitter's van broke down,the fitter ran into some trouble and so on.
Once they get hold of your money there is 0 hope for them to be interested.

“SafeStyle fitted the sliding doors requested, within the agreed timeframe. This is where the good news ends unfortunately. We were unhappy about a number of things:
1. They were more expensive than anyone else who quoted (but could get it installed slightly quicker than competitors). We expected a better service in exchange for this but were disappointed.
2. The salesman used aggressive sales tactics (discounts if you sign up immediately). Don’t fall for those by the way - they will honour it for longer if you press them.
3. Ours is a Juliet balcony door but they didn’t offer/ask whether we want a handle on the outside (which prevents it from fully opening), despite the salesman telling us it would open fully.
4. When I asked them to remediate that, it took weeks to get a response, even after I made a formal complaint (which still hasn’t been acknowledged).
5. The salesman had no interest in helping us get it resolved either. Not his department so not his problem.
6. Ultimately we were told that they are simply unable to remove the external handle. Other companies can clearly do it but it’s beyond the wit of SafeStyle despite claiming to be a market leader.
7. Oh and if we change it ourselves we will of course void our warranty.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would.”
“After leaving Safestyle a very positive review on the 7th of September 2022 I have had nothing but problems and stress ever since.
I have had to call Safestyle out 7 times.
The door wouldn't lock 3 times.
The moulding fell of the door.
The composite material has come away from the edges.
The sash needed replacing due to a 5-7 mm gap which let all the heating out all through the winter months and caused a massive draft.
Everyone's fuel costs are high enough without losing all the heat from a poor installation and a defective product.
I thought the loss of heating was sorted in March, but there is still a substantial draught coming through the door.
The fitter damaged the door whist replacing the sash. I have been waiting since March the 7th for the new door to be fitted.
He even went away with my large tin of WD40.
Another fitter arrived today to fix the lock minus the new door. Apparently someone forgot to order the door. I just could not believe it.
It's not his fault and he was very friendly.
So yet again I have been given another appointment for the 18th of July. Ten months after the door was originally fitted.
How can a company who promises the best experience cause me so much stress.
I have had to constantly chase the customer service team.
One person in particular never to replied to my emails, so after 16 days and numerous emails I called Safestyle yet again.
That very same person answered the phone and told me any emails sent to him were send to his junk box.
Wouldn't common sense tell you, if you are not receiving emails, there is obviously a problem.
I have called again today and asked to speak to a manager but was told there were no managers available to speak to me.
Truly shocking.
I have been promised a call back today but I won't hold my breath.
I have now raised a compliant with Safestyle via their Website.
Once again I have no confidence in Safestyle.
Lets see if I get a response within the 72 hours they promise.
If you won't piece of mind, pay a little more and go elsewhere.
Omg where do I start again. I have just taken a call from Safestyle to say the door that was due to fitted on July 18th has not arrived from the suppliers.
The CSR let slip it had to be reordered yet again ,this is the third time now. They gave me an appointment date for the 30th of August 2023 nearly a year after the door was originally fitted.
Safestyle you are truly shocking.
Sorry many lies have been told.
How can they be allowed to get away with this.
I also never received the phone call I promised from a manager.

Dear Customer services,
Firstly I have to say I have heard everything that has been written in the email dated 21-07-2023.
Therefore as I have been complaining for months I don't expect you to act on my complaint.
I have read the feedback left by many other disgusted Safestyle customers on Trust pilot, it seems that Safestyle don't care about their customers.
I have had feedback myself saying that after seeing review they were going with Safestyle but have chosen not to.
I will continue to leave reviews and share them publicly until someone gives the common decency in responded to me minus the lie and broken promises.
The choice really is yours.

“Door was not fitted properly from the start. Safestyle had to remove and replace as it was so badly fitted!! But that happen after I had a gap around door all winter and it was cold!!! It was 2 degrees cooler by front door due to gap. The customer service was utter rubbish and the compensation was a total insult!!! They do not care at all!”
“I had a back door fitted to my ground floor flat by Safestyle at the beginning of June. Fitter did a good job but locking was faulty. Another fitter came within 2 hours and sorted out the locking. However I have never been able to shut the door so I can lock it without really having to slam the door. I have been in touch with Safestyle but cannot get anyone until mid-August. A bit worried that locking mechanism may fail. I am having trouble with my upstairs neighbour who is complaining about the noise of the door shutting.I am having to leave the door unlocked
during the day. I am a 77 yo lady and I don’t really need this.
I think this is very poor after sales service.”

Got booked in for a few days time.
Received repeated calls daily about it, multiple times. Each time requesting that my girlfriend be there. (She couldn't care less and wouldn't be involved in any of the Decision making process.
They cancelled the appointment saying I'd need a fire door to meet building regs?
They called me back to book it in again saying I wouldn't need a fire door as its not a flat it's a house.
They called me 3 times in one day on the day of the appointment, 3 separate people, all asking about my partner and if she would be there.
I'd lost the will to live by this point and cancelled it. I'll go elsewhere.”
“Less than one star if possible, they fitted my front door wonky which will not lock or close properly and have so far put off fixing it for nearly 2 years!! 5 different engineers out and counting. Wouldn't let this company instal a cat flap.”

“Had our Safestyle back door fitted today by Antony Lewin he was really friendly and fitted the door
without any trouble. It looked really nice and we are really happy we chose Safestyle to buy from.Antony did a great job no mess or dust anywhere a very neat fitter.He was pleasant and nice to meet a credit to Safestyle.”
“I had arranged a quote to be made to my husband, but safe style refused to come round unless I was there too. The man was quite rude on the phone, I insisted that my husband was able to make decisions but again he said we both had to be home. So I cancelled completely. I am quite angry and disappointed”
“I foolishly used this company and what a nightmare. I employed them to fit a new bay window to my property and also replace a couple of sealed units to the kitchen window. But as they wer fitting the bay I noticed one of the side windows was to short by about a inch and a halfe. They just put expanding foam in the gap and covered it up with plastic. The two support pillars that the sales man told me are a must to support the bay roof don't even touch the roof of the bay. Then as they wer outside tidying up I asked them if they wer going to replace the piece of rotting trim that ran on top of the old window they said no it's structural but yet two of my neighbours had there's replaced with there new bays. I ended up doing it myself. That is when I noticed the only thing supporting the bay roof is the screws that hold the windows in. There is a gap between the window frame and the bay roof of about one or two inch. Then once they came to replace the glass in the kitchen they told me they had broken it but not to worry they will be back tomorrow or the day after. But guess what nothing it's now three weeks later numerous phonecalls to them but all I get is they can't get through to the installation team they will call you back. But these CLOWNS never call you back. I asked to speak to a manager and I was shocked when somebody claiming to be a manager phoned me I told her everything I have put on here she said she would sort it out. BUT GUESS WHAT I HAVE HEARD NOTHING. Aftersales sservice is none existent at that place stay away if you have any sense.”
“I never got as far as having windows . We had a cold caller asking could we have the men round to just give us a no obligation quote . 30 minutes of your time , no pressure !
He turned up late , straight in sat down (we were stood up) and that was it for almost two hours ! Nice enough man but so rude in his sales pitch approach , after 1 hour still no quote 😳 he asked for a cup of tea , then he needed the toilet . Still no quote ! Eventually a quote was offered of 10k but if we signed today he could do it for £6k .. stop right there mr salesman .. if you can do it for £6k then offer me that first not as a tempting carrot to dangle to kid me I’m getting a deal .. no Thankyou safe style I won’t be having your windows !”
“Please folks, NEVER EVER use this company for anything. They must rate amongst the worst company in the UK for the quality of product, their customer service and aftercare. 3 years now and my sorry saga has not finished. They cam out today to fix faulty products. The engineer didn't have the right instructions, had the wrong parts to repair them with and now have to wait a further 6 weeks for them to repair their faults.
their CEO Mike Gallacher is not contactable either. He sits in his office hiding away from the awful company he is leading. Emailed tens of times and never received a reply. I cannot give minus stars as I would have done.

“Requested just a quote - instead, we got some salesman turn up and bore us to death for 3 hours.
After the 3 hours he quoted us a price that you could easily buy a very nice new car with ! Then the cute-hard-sales tactics started as he dropped his price (but still well over 11k) under the condition we sign-up straight away ! . . . . don't these fools know that these pressure tactics don't work anymore? we of course laughed him out the door.

On 01.05 I have been sold ''the best product'' - 4 bedroom windows. The salesman over the phone confirmed that the agreed price is the final and no extra cost will be added. On that day I have paid 50% of deposit and have been told to wait another 10 days for a surveyor. On 10th the surveyor notified us that window boards are NOT included and later we find out it is another £300 EXTRA. On the 16th I received a phone call from the office saying that the salesman forgot to add scaffolding for our flat roof (2m height) :-) I didn't even want to know the price for this favour and decided to give a call to the team who sold me this ''amazing'' product. The order is now cancelled and I have to wait another 7-10 working days until I will get our money back. So in total aprox. 1 month will be wasted due to amazing service provided by SafeStyle. They are not the best- don't waste your time and money. AVOID!!! Ref. 5019128”
“I've had windows installed in September 2022, immediatly noticed that the vents that came as standard were not the ones advertised in the website, is stated they were premium, but got installed shabby horrible things, after 2 months of calling Safestyle, finally had an engineer to see me... he wasn't helpfull at all, but agreed that the trickle vents installed were the wrong one, and in November there was a request for the vents to be put on the 23rd of December... im still waiting, despite inumerous calls made, and it is now the 15th of May 2023... worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Do not recomended safestyle at all.”
