If I could give safestyle less than one star I would. Had a composite front door fitted . In the summer the door must expand as on five occasions I could not get in the house and could not get out twice .as I am disabled I called the fire brigade, who came around the same day , I said I had complained and was told run a hosepipe on the door. What idiots do I soak the house on the inside and look a prat doing this also on the outside . The fireman said there has been a lot of problems with these composite doors . The biggest joke is when it is stuck and you telephone for a appointment you have to wait for four or five weeks , by that time the door when cold opens better. Also lots of scratches on door , asked for a paint colour pen to cover up marks , first repair man said he had not got one , even though I requested one when booking appointment ,second time I had a call out he said he didn't have one , I asked if he could order and send in the post , told not allowed to send in the post ! JOKE . After seeking advice I have decided to take safestyle to the small claims court for compensation after Xmas 2022 as I've been told as the brochure does not give any warning about composite doors could get stuck and I have evidence this happens. And the danger for me a severely disabled person of being trapped in my house if there was a fire . Watch this space as I will tell you what happens, then if successful you may try the county court yourself.

The door we ordered is awful. First thing was that the knocker is attached to you have the fittings showing on the inside of the door. The knocker itself is largely useless. We’ve had to have them out to fix the door twice. The letter box was leaking to the point where we had to put a towel on the floor and then once that had been fixed, the door has warped. They are now coming to fix that. And we’ve now found out that our neighbour paid less to a different company for a composite (I.e. better) door. The windows safestyle fitted are fine but I wouldn’t recommend this company based on the appalling quality of the door.

Pushy rude and arrogant ! Needed both myself and partner there which became clear was just for an immediate sale! Wouldn’t bother having them round unless you want someone to quote you for over an hour and not take a hint that you don’t want to put a deposit down there and then!

Unfortunately, we hired this company to replace windows for my home in 2015/16. Within one year of replacement, many of the windows' locking mechanisms got lost and didn’t work. At the same time, a couple of window steel channels got rusted. I contracted this company's customer service. They weren’t ready to hear my complaint. Instead, they asked me to wipe all windows and their channel after rain every time. Customer service also told me they don’t give any warranty on locks. I constantly try to talk to senior members of the company, but unfortunately, senior members are very rude and arrogant. I don’t have anymore words to express my pain. I suffered with this company. I suggest you please make sure you do your research and investigate before hiring any company. Thanks

Disgusting sales pitch….they sold my grandparents 2 Upvc doors and 2 windows for £5600 this is double what other firms charge for same quality. The salesman was extremely pushy and bullied them into signing on the day and paying a non refundable £1500 deposit. I am utterly disgusted with them…..this should be made illegal. Avoid at all costs if you have any decency….use local Lancashire companies….

My God I wish I had read these reviews before touching this bogus outfit. Employ them at your peril. They are cowboys. My conservatory leaks like a sieve and will probably need to be dismantled and refitted by some other company that knows what it is doing. That does not describe Safestyle. It may be necessary to replace the whole thing then sue Safestyle for the cost and I am certainly prepared to do that.

AVOID AT ALL COST, THERE ARE WAY BETTER OUT THERE! We are so dissatisfied with the whole process of your service. As a well known company, I really did expect better. We were messed about from day one by your company. We initially had a Facebook message after enquiring advising us that the quote can be held for 12 months. We thought great as it gives us an idea of pricing etc so we booked a meeting. The gentleman that visited was very pushy and told us he could only keep the pricing for 3 months. In the end we agreed as it was something we needed. Never the less we were told 2 different things by the same company. The 1st survey was the 16th September and was told installation would be the 30th October. We then were informed that the manufacturing would take a bit longer. We then were told that we needed a second survey as the 1st survey did not include scaffolding which was needed this took place on the 19th October. We were then given another installation date of 10th november, we then got a call after 6pm on the 9th to tell us there were a further issue with the manufacturing (less than 24 hours notice) We were only having 5 windows and 2 doors hardly a lot. We called the Tuesday and rescheduled for the following Thursday 12th November. Thursday 12th November comes and 2 fitters show up but no scaffolding. We called AGAIN to be told someone forgot to order it! They couldn't fit anything without the scaffolding so they left. We called AGAIN and were told the scaffolding will go up Monday 16th and will be fitted on the 18th and we were told this was a 1 day job even after we questioned this to be sure. 18th came and fitting started, this then turned into a 2 day job which came as a surprise. On the 19th the fitter fit the back door and it was too big and looked ridiculous. We had to then make..you guessed it another call! Scaffolding was not removed until I eventually made another call and this was taken on the 27th November. The 28th November we had a survey for the back door (3rd time lucky) The right size back door was eventually fitted Dec 5th. So this whole process has taken 4 MONTHS and a lot of our time was wasted. We should have only needed 2 days of for the survey and installation between us we have taken 9 days out of work this is not including 2 weekend days we had someone from your company round too and we are not happy. You would think also currently going through a global pandemic you would be concious about all the different people and all the different visits! I hope Mike Gallacher (CEO), Rob Neale (CFO) and Alan Lovell are aware of the absolute shoddy service we have received from the ACCRINGTON BRANCH. Not one person communicated with another and we did all the chasing including now chasing for an apology as not one person has offered us one which is an absolute disgrace.

If there only was a lower rating than 1 star. We got our whole house newly installed windows and doors. Everything from the start went wrong, late delivery, on installations date no door. We waited another 6 weeks because there was not door order, they forgot. As we had the entire house reformed, we asked the salesperson if it would be better for us to wait with plastering and painting the walls. His response was; not at all, we will repair all damage if any. so, go ahead with the work. So, we did. After the installation, the damage was terrible. Our brand-new kitchen door unit door got heavily scratched, the holes around the windows in all rooms and around the doors were huge. When I asked if they would fill the holes and re plaster the walls, as promised, the answers was: No, we put a plastic strip over it and the holes not covered by the strip we fill with decorators caulk. We disagreed but were told to contact head office. We contacted head office and waited for weeks for a surveyor to come. The surveyor, a very unfriendly person, came around and photographed everything and kept mentioning read our contract, as we do not repair damage paint. We had already replaced the kitchen unit door with a new one but kept the damaged one for them to see. After a week we contacted safestyle to ask about the repair and cost of the kitchen unit door. The guy from head office on the phone, said we have the surveyor report. We need to send out two plasterers for 5 hours to fix it all. We asked if we could get our own plasterer to do the job and our own painter. We were asked to get a quote and send it to head office. So, we did. After we received a call asking to provide a second quote for the repairs, so we got a second quote. Then all communication stopped. We rang again, we were told, yes, we are looking into it and get back to you today. This promised went on for 3 days. Eventually we were told, the quotes need to come from a VAT registered company, not from a self-employed person. We asked why, as many plasterers are self-employed and do not have to register for VAT. We were asked to wait another day for a response. After 2 days, we called again. Now we were told we need to contact safestyle in Warrington. Here we got someone on the phone called Georgia. She had no clue what she was talking about. First, she said. You need to get a surveyor out. I said he has already been. O, sorry, we have not received the surveyor report yet. I said: yes, you have as your head office already called me. Then she said, Sorry I can´t open the images from the surveyor, can you please send all images to me. I said, I do not have the images your surveyor took. Georgia simply said, maybe you can make them yourself. So, i did. And sent all photos again. Then I waited for a few hours and called. Now I was told, we will plaster the damage, but we will not paint the new plaster, as we have no painters. I asked what about the kitchen unit door? I was told we do not pay for the door, that is head office. And what about the paint. We do not do that either. I said, but your salesperson told us you would. Not our problem, read your contract. So, end of call. New call to head office. We will see if we can send out a plasterer, but no painter. Same story read your contract. What about the kitchen unit door? Answer: we will not pay for that. What about the promise of your sales person? He never said that. At the end, we have damaged walls, holes everywhere filled with plastic caulk, a damaged kitchen unit door of a brand-new designer kitchen. Trust me, I wish I had chosen another company. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMING AND LYING PEOPLE: My order number 1409185

A company and service you CANNOT trust!! Ref. 5019128 On 01.05 I have been sold ''the best product'' - 4 bedroom windows. The salesman over the phone confirmed that the agreed price is the final and no extra cost will be added. On that day I have paid 50% of deposit and have been told to wait another 10 days for a surveyor. On 10th the surveyor notified us that window boards are NOT included and later we find out it is another £300 EXTRA. On the 16th I received a phone call from the office saying that the salesman forgot to add scaffolding for our flat roof (2m height) :-) I didn't even want to know the price for this favour and decided to give a call to the team who sold me this ''amazing'' product. The order is now cancelled and I have to wait another 7-10 working days until I will get our money back. So in total aprox. 1 month will be wasted due to amazing service provided by SafeStyle. They are not the best- don't waste your time and money. AVOID!!! Ref. 5019128

I called Safestyle for a quote for new windows. A salesman was sent out, and arrived on time. Seemed like a very nice chap. He was here for over two hours, (it's only a 4 bed house). He then fed all the info into his tablet and gave me a price of £20,000 (just over). I laughed. He then said, he could give me a discount of 30%, so it came down to just over £14,000. I laughed again. Then by sheer chance (as if) his "manager" called, and he was given the go ahead to give us another discount. The final price came out at £9,100, which still seems high. I told him I had another coming in, (true) and would let him know our decision. My decision was that I'm not going to do business with a company that can be this weird with their sales technique. If the price is £9k, quote me £9k. Frankly the whole experience was uncomfortable. And they've tried to call me 3 times since, I've not replied. Next time I will, and will be telling the bluntly to leave me alone.

Absolutely horrendous after sales. Completely uninterested in fixing their mistakes or rectifying their poor craftsmanship. Had a window damaged on installation by the fitters (who were actually lovely and professional) and was told it would be replaced within 2 weeks. 8 weeks later and still waiting for an update to when the new window will be fitted. Spoke to multiple members of staff from multiple different departments and told the earliest they could replace it would be the end of January. (over 12 weeks from installation) No care in the world for the fact the crack in the window is allowing cold air into the main room in our house. Rebecca from Post installation told me there is nothing they can do unfortunatly and that's the earliest they could offer a replacement. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PATHETIC, DISHONEST, OVERPRICED, POOR-QUALITY COMPANY!

I had my whole house fit my Safestyle including front and back doors, in March 2022. The job was done in one day by 5 fitters and I saw that they had cut corners everywhere. I complained, and an another engineer was sent out to inspect the job. This Engineer deemed the whole job incorrectly fitted and booked another 4 day job for the whole house to be re-done. this was supposed to be done in July but Safestyle didn't book scaffolding, which meant the first floor couldn't be done. Another date for September was booked in but then cancelled. Now I have mould in the corners of my newly fitted windows in the living room. puddles of water appear when it rains! This is completely unacceptable. I've reported this to Safestyle and had no response yet. This company is appalling. Their standards are very low, and their fitters are all self-employed and get paid by the window, so they don't care about doing a good job. Avoid this company at all costs!

I had the whole of the front of my house done with Safe Style UK, 1 front door composite and 6 windows, 3 of which was for a bay window. A salesman came round and gave me a quote a little over £10000, I was offered a big discount and ended paying a little over £7600. Having done more looking in to it, are they competitive? Definitely not!!! The windows and my door, I love them, however I complained about the finish with the sealant not being neat, I complained about when the windows are open you can see several screws not in properly or even gone in at an angle. I even cut my hand on one of the screws!!! For the price I paid I’d expect perfection. This is far from. What made it worse after my 1st complaint and being told a technician will come round no one did. They called me asking if I was happy with the service, I complained to them and was told a technician will come round. Over a year on still having issues with my bedroom window which needs totally replacing as they damaged on installing. Complained only last week again, now going through another company Rimmers in Southport, a lot cheaper, excellent reviews. Safestyle have said when they get the faulty window back I’ll get a full refund for the window of £1177. The alternative they said I can keep the window as is and they’ll give me 10% back and the window loses its warranty. What a insult and joke. Avoid this company at all costs. I will be informing trading standards of all the issues over the past year plus. No doubt Safestyle shall remove this post 🤣🤣🤣

For a company that claims to be UK no.1 the lack of service and professionalism is dissapointing. I have been waiting 9+ months for my new windows and doors to be replaced since the originals were damaged by safestyle's poor installers. Almost all of our windows and doors are too small for the brick openings and, to the installer's surprise, no frame extenders were ordered for use, so the house is both much colder and way noisier. (contradicts all the guarantees made by safestyle reps) To add insult, the date for replacement also keeps getting pushed further and further back and it seems that I will have to struggle through another winter of cold drafts in a house that can't retain heat. The broken frames let wind, rain and ants in and in the wind all the windows make a cracking noise. I have even had to buy multiple items (electric blankets, warmer duvets, electric water bottles, blankets and rugs) to keep warm which safestyle refuse to compensate for. I can't ever get a response from safestyle reps on anything and am always promised a service which is never delivered. I feel very cheated of my money and time, having not negotiated on price, I paid a premium for subpar items and service and have wasted so many holidays to accommodate the ever changing dates. It's really ridiculous that I have to go to social media to try and get a response but I am struggling and out of options. I don't recommend this company and I really hope no one else buys their products.

Had our windows and doors replaced by Safestyle in 2017 so when we decided to renovate the kitchen we had no choice but to use them again to get matching windows. In 2017 they were appalling, damaging paintwork, woodwork and the overall finish was terrible. This time for a single window we figured how bad can it be. Well 48 hours before the scheduled installation they call to say they are cancelling. I said we have multiple trades booked following their visit and this would stop the installation of our kitchen the following week. The person on the phone said no problem we "will see you on Monday as scheduled" but what he cowardly did was cancel the visit when I got off the phone. This is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable as now we have to delay everything by more than a month and leaving us with no kitchen for our 3 and 4 year old children! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Avoid this awful company at all costs - Been waiting ten months now for Safestyle to replace the defective front door they fitted. One lame excuse after another. Absolutely shocking customer service - Safestyle treats its customers with utter contempt.

Paid a lot of money for two doors less than 2 years ago. Was quire pleased with service (apart from pushy salesman) and product. However the frame has cracked on the back door and is now dangerous as I am tripping over it. I invested in the doors for security and peace of mind after being widowed, now I’m at risk of falling!!! I contacted the firm to be told that the frame does not come under the 10 year guarantee and would have to pay £2-300 for replacement. I then asked if someone could come to look at it in case it could be repaired any cheaper and was told that would cost an extra £72. I have put some tape over the offending crack and loose draught excluder for safety. What a disgrace the after service care is if it exists at all. I was planning to get some windows replaced by them but, needless to say, that will not be happening. BE AWARE THAT THIS COMPANY IS NOT ‘SAFE’ at all and go elsewhere.
