I was thinking of going with this company, but thank goodness I read all upto 20 pages of reviews first!! After speaking to them on phone, they were kinda unhelpful. Because of the unhelpfulness at the first level phne call, before going further, I decided to read the customers reviews.. Well what a good job i did! Whilst they quote their services at 3 and half stars, there are infact 20 pages of ratings that i looked through, where they were almost all 1-2 star only quoted by Customers Ratings! In horror at some reviewers experiences, i was so glad I didnt take up their services! and thanked my 'gut feelings' after speaking on the phone, made me feel i had to research this company further before committing to a salesman calling at the house to measure and quote! BUYER BEWARE! It will serve you well to read many of the heartbreaking reports on work and products from this company! Thank goodness i seem to have been saved by my gut instinct! Worth a read .. I wish you Good Luck if you decid to go ahead!

Windows installed in June 2023. Replaced original windows that were 40 years old. New windows are cold and let in a lot more noise. Wish I had stuck with the old ones.

Bad customer services but good fitters. Still got scaffolding up after 2 weeks and even after several complaints.

I ordered a new front door from this company I thinking that I might do I instalment a salesman come and I just happened to mention bout the arch above my door the sales man said he would suggest to ask the servyor. Because he didn’t know bout the arch fitting so the seryer come and told me I didn’t have to have an arch and would cost more and they would have to rip all my porch decorated which I just had done so I went ahead without having an arch fitting later I telephone the office find out how they r process is going on which I then was told it was on hold and that they were discussing my order bout the arch. I was so mad I said what you mean on hold they said I will have to have the arch weather you like it or not it has to done no I said I do not want it if I have to have it they you pay after a discussion they telephone me saying that they not doing the arch so it’s just the door they r fitting. I ssid oh right you done want to pay for the arch. Yeah very clever. And the person on the phone ssid to me in a very abrupt way you pay the remaining bill on the completetion. Oh right that won’t happen because I’m at work and I will need to see the door first before I pay. The fitting come the man was very abrupt demanding for the payment. After I return home from work I was please with my new door although I had to phone to get them to come back because my knocker was very loose. And badly fitted. So I phone them still in process to come back watch this space if they do. I’m not over happy with all the problems I’ve had to face with this company seem to be lack of communication and I will not be using them in the future as they r over price but the food looked nice. But the service is very bad and they r happy to take your money even though I paid over 1900 ahead instead of instalment it’s seem they don’t trust you and I’m a great believer that costsomer r always right never again will I used this company again

A mistake by the salesman on the initial order is being ignored and misread by the so called help team. At the time of my order the SafeStyle system was not working so, I did not have the contract to see and when I did get it the pictures and description of the windows didn't make a lot of sense so I trusted the sales had got what I asked for. Phoned no reply, emailed no reply, finally got an email answer and I feel they are deliberately misreading my issue. Aftercare is poor.

Phone for a quote for my daughter who is on holiday. They refused to come unless she is there. Due to the nature of her work that probably would not be possible so we would be there. They said they could not do that. Their attitude was disgusting. We have used safestyle in the past but would not use them again

Poor quotation experience … We had a budget in mind. We didn’t move on this. To quote for 12 windows and 2 x doors the quote started (there and then stood in our house) at £29,000. A magic 45% discount took it down to £17,000. The final quote on the day of the visit was £13,900. Two days later we received a call from another rep asking if we would like to proceed. We had a budget and explained this. Yet another offer was given for £12,700. This time their final FINAL offer! We explained we had planned a quote from a rival competitor (name starts with (first letter of the alphabet!). We were told they couldn’t beat Safestyle. We met with the rival company, who, like for like, were able to meet us just over our budget. We decided to go with the rival company. Safestyle rang back and we told them that we had chosen rival company, that they had quoted £11,500. Guy on phone said that safestyle’s guarantees and installation times were better. No offer to price match was given by Safestyle. He left called appearing rather put out and sulky The following day our original safestyle rep contacted me and stated that their manager had agreed a price of….. £11,500 and would we call back Too late I’m afraid. Lots of things for customers to be mindful of, don’t ever accept the original quotation from Safestyle, it’s like a game of cat and mouse. Stick to your budget and don’t get sucked in with the hard sell. Main thing for Safestyle to consider is that you are a huge company who are able to meet reasonable budget demands very easily and still make a profit! . Instead you appear intent on making as much profit as you can. You took two weeks to finally meet our budget. The rival company took just 24 hours.

The door we ordered is awful. First thing was that the knocker is attached to you have the fittings showing on the inside of the door. The knocker itself is largely useless. We’ve had to have them out to fix the door twice. The letter box was leaking to the point where we had to put a towel on the floor and then once that had been fixed, the door has warped. They are now coming to fix that. And we’ve now found out that our neighbour paid less to a different company for a composite (I.e. better) door. The windows safestyle fitted are fine but I wouldn’t recommend this company based on the appalling quality of the door.

Windows and doors are decent and fitting is good but the after care for customers is a joke once they have your money they don't care.

The standard of work from the fitters was exemplary. Unfortunately the standard of communication between main office and customer left everything to be desired . The original fitting was 16 days ago and I had to point out to the fitter that the design of the side panel of my porch was incorrect. He checked his plan immediately and agreed that an error in manufacturing had been made and reported it to head office immediately. That evening I telephoned Customer Care, who assured me that they would inform the Depot, who would get back to me. No communication from the Depot, so three emails and two further telephone calls to so called Customer Care produced no response the than a very short email offering Avery half hearted apology for the inconvenience. Throughout the sixteen days since the original installation which went wrong I have had no contact from Safestyle, no information regarding any attempt to solve the problem and no apology for the fact that I have been unable to enter or leave my property via the front door as it was almost impossible to open or shut the door due to the hasty installation. I have no problem with the product or the workmanship of the installers, but the communication between admin and customers is absolutely disgraceful. If you really believe that you are the nation's favourite window and door company , then I suggest you tidy up your act, because I shall certainly never recommend Safestyle to anyone.

Nightmare promise you so much and deliver so little, paid over 11k for Windows and a street door had very poor fitters that rushed a two day job into one day and made our lovely home look a mess with badly fitted windows and damaged doors, been complaining for nearly a year and even so they have sent out people to inspect the property and have agreed that they have done a bad job still they haven't put it right, completely unprofessional we will never use them again.

I had 2 doors 8 windows fitted and it took half a day which to me was way to fast and now it shows as I'm constantly having issues with the windows if the job was done rite and not rushed I wouldn't need to get these guys back over and over and why should I pay for something if it don't work rite

We recently had 11 windows and 2 doors replaced by Safestyle, inlcuding 2 large bay windows. THE GOOD: Competitive price, supportive sales person (thanks Humphrey) and the deal breaker was the 0% finance option that we only found with Safestyle in Nov 2020. The windows made the house warmer, better looking, quieter and safer. THE BAD: Within this installation we experienced: - survey errors (re-measuring, fitters having to bodge things) - manufacturing error (front door re-make, incorrect parts supplied) - installation errors (rushed job, non-closing windows, gaps not filled, messy work, 100 little things) - faulty parts (replacement hinges) - customer services shortfalls (unkept promises about scaffolding and replacement parts, no response to emails). THE UGLY: The 3 standout negatives: - The bay window: the upstairs bay window had to be dismantled and an extra 1/2 day spent on it, because the 1st fitter crew messed it all up, it was not level, not seated properly, had gaps all around etc. - The scaffolding: it was put up in January 2021 for a re-measure by the surveyor. Fitting was between 30 March - 5 Apr (~60 man-hours in total , it was meant to be half that). Scaffolding supposed to be removed within 2-3 days after work completed. I called customer services 4 or 5 times in the next 3 weeks. They were saying "oh we cannot reach the scaffolders right now but we're on it". The last lady gave me the scaffolders number. Yes, they did not pick their office phone up, but I DID REACH THEM on the mobile from their answer phone message. It was removed the next day, 3 weeks after work completion. Pathetic - The service visit: The doors came with standard locks, instead of the high security ones we have paid for. I asked the fitters, I spoke to customer services to enquire about it. "we'll look into it". The fitters said in the end, "it is a special order" and is not available form stock. Fine, but for god's sake, 4 months passed from us paying and the doors being fitted! May be enough to order 2 locks you'd think. Never mind, I was booked a service visit for a technician to check the locks FOR THE 14th JUNE! 10 weeks after fitting, 6 months after contract signed. Safestyle, I had high hopes, but I you let us down with your poor service. Reading the reviews here, something bad happened in 2021, because the ratings plummeted. I hope that the products will last, and we won't have to call them again ever within the 10 warranty period... ADVICE TO BUYERS: DON'T SIGN THE COMPLETION FORM UNTIL EVERYTHNG IS DONE 100% TO YOUR SATISFACTION, WHATEVER THEY PROMISE. THAT'S YOUR BIGGEST LEVERAGE.

Had a quote for 1 window £900 that included £100 for the surveyor why do you need a surveyor when a member of staff have already measured your window ordered my window from another company £160 cheaper and no surveyor , so shop around folks.

Within a week of the door installation the door would not open/shut unless you pushed hard against it, fitters first visit was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Eventually a visit from a fitter cured the problem but only for a few days as the problem returned . The door appears to be of good quality, only time will tell . The open/close mechanism seems to be inferior, or maybe the fitters aren’t as good as they think. Decided against having the back doors fitted as you need a way of escape in an emergency

Just received a call from a very pushy sales person who would not listen to what I was saying. In the end he hung up on me. I'm glad we didn't end up buying from them.
