The salesman was oblivious to the fact that I had agreed to purchase at less than 50% of the original price he came up and still continued his sales pitch spiel whilst it was obvious he had overspent his two and half hours and I had to get to work. The job was completed satisfactorily albeit with one genuine fitter and a "lacky" alleged trainee. One of the window locks has now failed and it is impossible to get an answer either on the phone or by e-mail wrt replacement. Aftercare is "pants"

The door was installed a week later after a confirmed installation day and it was delivered without a spy glass although I’ve discussed it in detail with the pre-installation team. The person that installed the door was trying to get out of putting the door number on the door as he did not want to spend time and effort on drilling the door! I had to persuade him. He then forgot to put up the door knocker. I spent 48 mins trying to get through to the customer care on the phone only to be told that their systems are down and that I have to contact them via email! Although the door itself is good and the work was done well, the actual experience of care has left me disappointed.

The window fitters were in a rush to finish the job as it was a Friday afternoon and so they didn't have to return the next day. one bedroom widow didn't close properly and 3 on the windows have scratches on them. they left the windows mucky and with marks all over so didn't know they were scratches till they had left. Rang customer services and someone was sent out the next day to investigate and in fairness he was polite and understanding and further investigation showed that they have done a shoddy job on the window sills. someone was sent out to replace the scratched windows however one of the replacements was also scratched and therefore they have to return again. for the amount of money being sent you think there would be a better quality control when producing the windows, especially when providing replacements for already faults! Knowing what we do now, we would not have gone with safestyle and would not recommend.

We have had all new windows and doors, we are pleased with the quality and the fitters were great however the post install support is awful. Scaffolding still has not been removed and we tried to get help from the customer helpline, customer services and post installation teams with no avail. We then contacted the sales person who visited us and he was very rude and dismissive once he found out we have already paid. A real shame as we wanted a conservatory to match but will have to go else where.

Not a bad experience. Door fitted well and fitter was efficient and polite, but your salesman assured me the door would cut down noise from outside. This was not true. .it's worse if anything. I feel I was mislead .

We had a salesperson call to quote for a new back door. He was extremely pushy. We have already had quotations so knew roughly prices to expect. He quoted us an extraordinary price which he quickly discounted. We laughed. He then said if we signed there and then he could discount further. Price still much higher than other companies. So he pulled the old 'I'll just ring my boss's stunt. Again another discount but we had to sign up there and then. He was settling in for the afternoon. We didn't budge. Didn't make him tea and said we'd take time to think. If we'd not been canny he'd have pushed us into purchasing the product. A real hard selling process which was quite uncomfortable

Very disappointed with the after service of Safestyle. I have paid over £1500 for a new composite door. The salesman and fitting we’re 5/5 however once I noticed that the door knocker was not straight and loose the company have totally failed. I rang up within 1 hour of it been fitted and explained. They stated someone would ring me back... no one did. Rang back the following day, was told someone would ring me... no one did. Received a follow up courtesy call and explained the issue. Again told they would pass it on to the relevant branch and I’ve heard nothing. Safestyle were quick to please me prior to the contract been signed however now they’ve got my £1500 I feel that they don’t care about the faulty door knocker (which I have now had to sellotape down so it looks straight) Beware before you buy from this company

Rubbish...I'm aim disappointed. Had our window s and doors fitted had nothing but issues since. They wouldnt shut properly. And now we have guests of wind coming in because they didnt foam them properly so no insulation. Had to wait 3 months in winter to have then rectified. I have 2 babies who are constantly poorly because it's so cold.. my daughters curtain blows with the draft. I'm so upset that we are not more of a priority and my babies are poorly because they couldnt fit them right!

Our windows were fitted beginning of October. We are still waiting for issues to be resolved. They don’t answer emails or return phone calls. All told Safestyle falls very shout of it’s Customer Service standards. When the surveyor eventually came out to check the installation - why don’t they have an automatic quality check - he was quite appalled by the standard of fitting and noticed issues that we had not! We are still waiting for his report; resolution to our complaint and a refund for a lintel that’s was not used! Our neighbour has withdrawn an order following our problems!

Windows are lovely but if you have an issue as we have it is a nightmare!!! Firstly getting through to customer services is near on impossible, 3 hours in total one day I was on hold. The day we had the windows fitted i noticed the bathroom window wouldnt shut , I refused to pay until fixed , it was fixed quickly...so i paid. 5 days later we noticed the silicon was dripping off the 2 front bedroom windows. We have been told they cannot come & fix this until January 10th!!!!! I would not recommend this company at all. What a way to treat customers as soon as you have thousands out of them!! 7 weeks to come fix an issue that is not our fault & appeared only 5 days after fitting. Disgusting!!!

Don't use them told lies from start to finish. Promised £75.00 goodwill cheque for damage caused. Lies again. Only good thing was the second team dave and his mate came three weeks later to finish job the first team clocked up. They made a good job. Still waiting for cheque which I know I won't be getting. The liers in Wolverhampton know who they are.

hi i recently 22/03/19 had 7 windows exchanged by safe-style the 3 contracted out self employed guys that did the job left a lot to be desired they came 8am friday put dust sheets down that had lots of previous waste materiel from other jobs. They removed four frames by 1pm saying we will come back sat to finish the pointing & re-cladding/capping pvc on the inside frames then around 2-30pm they decided to stay back friday couple of hours to finish, the last couple of hours they just rushed things outside sealant in white looked awful i previously had brown due to dark brickwork looked much better.inside sealant not that good, when my wife asked why are you using soft broom to sweep debris off carpet we haven't got a vacuum, they never bothered to clean up outside garage roof had lots of foam old window sealant bits of brickwork tissue pieces of broken pvc etc on front garden we have coloured chippings they just trod waste coach-screws foam debris into the chippings it was a disgrace we got half a carrier bag of waste from garage roof & front garden. As i say a good product spoilt by poor workmanship to detail having been rushed the fitting should have been done over 2 days in my opinion looking at the rest of the outside pointing they used to much colour die in the cement never wiped under the window sills clean of surplus pointing a poor job by that team of so called fitters.By 5pm they were off i re[ported it to safe-style who said sorry we will send a maintenance engineer out on april 18th to repair the faults also change 3 brass handles on lounge window that should be chrome like the other handles. Overall a poor rushed job 5 out of 10 is to big an appraisal not a very happy bunny or customer, will not recommend them or use safe-style ever again they are one big con-merchant company ripping customers off with poor so called shoddy work and a overpriced product. We would have been wiser to have used a local double glazing company to supply & fit the windows in the circumstances.

Not one to usually criticise a business without justification however I feel I must give word of warning to any potential safestyle customers. The product installed itself was very good however the customer service is far from 5 stars. The initial appointment was missed by the salesman and scheduled for the next evening, a mere hiccup 'we thought' as the surveyor arrived on time and scheduled our installation for 11 Dec. I had no work holiday left (due to taking some for Xmas) so took an unpaid day expecting to utilise it in the new door installation. The installation team were due between 0800-1400 on the 11th. At 0850 of that day I received a call stating they wouldn't be installing on the 11th due to the product not arriving at the local depot. My day wasted however they admitted they knew the night before the product wouldn't be installed on the 11th but yet I was not informed. Imagine if no one was home when they came to install, I can only guess how they would scrutinize the contract agreement. Eventually the product was installed on the afternoon of the 12th, another half day taken off work. The product itself is very good and the installer was excellent which is why this review is 2 stars and not 1. High levels of customer service is severely lacking, once money is passed no one wants to know the effect the non-attendance had on me and then taking the next afternoon to ensure i was home. Maybe some 15-20 calls to head office/local depot ended with a compensation form being posted to me but I have ran out of patience and just want to put this behind me. A obligatory £50 cheque has now been sent to me as an apology but this was 5 weeks after the install and I'm most definitely out of pocket. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Safestyle UK due to poor customer 'pre' and 'after' service, stay away.

The initial visit and quote was fast and efficient, though vastly overpriced. Negotiation knocked off quite a few thousand, so be prepared to haggle. The guys that fitted them were good, polite and tidy and initially we were delighted. How time can numb this though. First winter we had mold appear on all the mastic, something our previous UPVC windows didn't have! We continue to have to treat this. The real concern for me, having rung up today (8th January 2019) to report that the front door lock is faulty and we can't remove the key, is the apparent lack of 'engineers' available to come and fix it until the 31st. Having elderly and confused parents living with us, who can't understand how the door operates, results in them leaving the key in place, on the outside! This apparently isn't an emergency as I can work out how to lock the door. Wholly unsatisfactory service in my opinion and would suggest other look elsewhere if changing windows and doors. Unless you fancy house sitting for the next three weeks to keep the place secure. Personally I would use a local company next time, if you are thinking of replacement windows you might want to do the same.

Door was fitted on the 30/08/17 2weeks later it would not close. I phoned the helpline on the 19/9/17. Could not get through, the same on the following day, I then emailed the company on their website on the 20/09/17 and again on the 22/09/17. No ,response. on the 25/09/17 I emailed a complaint. No response. I finally got through today but was told they could not send engineer till the 20/10/17.this company either has many complaints or they are not employing enough staff to deal with complaints.chris adams
