Online is a joke. They are constantly out of items. My delivery delivery today is missing 4. They replaced dill with flat leafed parsley, no brown mushrooms, no white wine and no chorizo. Sainsburys in New Barnet is even worse. They have recently got rid of lots of items so they could put an Argos store in the supermarket. So many things I used to buy are now gone. Argos has a great same day delivery. Why is it necessary to put a store in a supermarket?? I'm switching to Tesco or Asda next week!

On line shooping. I am 9months pregnant so I ordered online to avoid carrying with heavy bags to home. However, my shooping box was letf on the floor in the street, all items out of the bags, and the delivery person watching me dealing with the heavy stuff without offer any help, one by one, down and up. I was very upset, some mankind was expected.

DO READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS! arranged an online shop and over 8 items I ordered we're substituted with much more expensive items increasing my bill by approx £40. When I phoned to complain, I was told the TERMS and conditions state Sainsburys can do this and charge the higher value for non food items. I will not be musings Sainsburys online shopping again.

Really unhappy with the service and won't be ordering again. I ordered my childrens school uniform on the 14th of August. Took a while to arrive at the shop but i did go and collect last week. Anyway, i picked up and noticed the bag wasn't big enough to fit everything in as there was 14 items i had ordered. Opened it to find 3 items! I didnt leave the shop and went back to the collection point. They were really helpful and got me in contact with customer services who advised me that they would send me a form for me to send back and then they would process a refund and get the items to me before the 4th of september with FREE next day delivery. I filled the form in which i sent back via email straight away. I have been ringing all week to see what is going on, only to be told today that it will now take a further 3-5 working days to get the refund and then i have to pay for the next day delivery to then get refunded again! Lets face it, i won't have their school uniform in time . I am disgusted that these items have been paid for and TU have made an error which is now 'my problem' as i have to wait ! The items should have been sent back out to me without all this which is making me stressed! I even have the advice slip in which states 3 items and nothing about the other 11 items! I also asked to speak to a manager to be advised its a 24 hour callback... great... waiting AGAIN.... i am annoyed that this all cost me £70 and customer services just don't care ....

First time using them for delivery of groceries and the service was appalling. Cancelled our order and didn't tell us. Nothing on my account to say my order had been cancelled. Left with no food in the house for dinner or food the next day. Only found out it was cancelled when I called asking where the delivery was, response was a £5 voucher...like I'm going to shop there. Avoid using at all costs.

Brammingham branch in Luton has one particular member of staff who works on the self checkout section. I assume her job is to help the customers who get the usual problems with the self checkout tills but she constantly says things like "i've only got one pair of hands" or "yes, i will get to you when i'm ready" which in my opinion should lead to her being dismissed. If I spoke to staff like that I would probably be asked to leave the store.Disgusting behaviour.

After a number of years using Sainsburys delivery I must say recently the standard of the fresh food has gone down and sell by dates are a joke! Smoked haddock use by date the date of delivery, yellow broccoli, rotting strawberries and pears which were in with tins and they had cuts and bruising. Yes I have an evoucher but no goods to eat. The delivery drivers are always friendly and helpful but the shoppers seem to be getting rid of the old stock on delivery customers. I will continue using the delivery for heavy items but no fresh food which I will obtain elsewhere.

On 10th July I bought Sainsbury’s own potatoes as replacement for king Edwards (they had run out). Opened them tonight 11th July They are sprouting. Shop there a lot and wouldn’t expect them to sprout now they were due up on 11th. But they shouldn’t sprout now.

Things go wrong and that's fine but sooo many times with Sainsbury's. So far it's been online shopping, their sandwiches have no filling and their credit card department is another absolute fail. They just don't seem to care!

I ordered a large grocery order for home delivery. I have broken three metatarsals so I'm in plaster and can no longer get out and about to shop for myself, so I was relying on Sainsbury's to deliver important groceries. This was my fourth or fifth order online and it didn't even o cut to me there would be any problems....oh how naive of me! As my one hour deliver slot came - and went - I contacted Sainsbury's to find out what had happened. Eventually after almost an hour on live chat, I was told that the driver couldn't find my house so had simply given up and returned my order to store - in fact I was told it was my own fault as 'apparently' I hadn't put a telephone number on my account!! I was even told my home wasn't on Google maps - yet when I checked there are a few sites that clearly show where my home is. Iwas incredulous - so continued to question the customer services rep, and it was revealed they'd had a driver problem that morning. There was no offer to resolve the problem, or any mention of compensation. Very unimpressed and disappointed in Sainsbury's. I insisted that the delivery be made that same day...which eventually was agreed to. To-date, almost three days after i complained in writing, I still haven't had a response from Sainsbury's. Not good enough, and I expected better from Sainsbury's.

I ordered 12 mozerla stick but they sent me instead macaroni cheese with bacon bit. I usullay don't check.my receipts, I was horrified I ate the bacon without knowing. I am a practicing muslim and it's forrbiedn for me to eat bacon. I am very upset and angry and I am thinking to sue Sainsburys . I am a regular customer of Sainsburys and I only buy halal products. I even ordered halal chicken and halal kabab. So how come they give me bacon instead of the cheese. Pls check your receipt every time you buy from them otherwise you will be i. The same position. Very upset and dissapointed customer.

This was my first time getting a home delivery with Sainsbury's, I ordered all fresh veg and meat. As I was unpacking I started to realise the best before dates, ALL my veg and fresh meat was either out of date that day or the day after and I under stand the veg will always last a little longer but I've had to chuck away loads of meat because I haven't had room in the freezer. I won't ever order from here again it's a absolute p*ss take! I've also tried to contact them to get refunded even if I had to bring the stuff back myself, but there was no interest in helping.

They're unreliable. Our online grocery order was not delivered: instead the driver sat outside in the van a while and drove away taking our stuff back to the store. We were told it couldn't be redelivered, I was offered no compensation, they refunded this order but haven't responded to my complaints. He claims to have rung the doorbell/entry system, he didn't, it's working fine, we would have heard it, and to have left a message on my mobile phone NOT the phone I'd given as a contact number for the order and was waiting next to. I phoned customer services to ask why he was waiting outside and not delivering our stuff, they didn't know and said they couldn't contact him, just wait. I'm a disabled wheelchair user unable to go out alone, so couldn't go and ask what was going on in person. When he drove off I rang again, this time they contacted the store he'd come from who blamed me as I'd not got the mobile message. Feel very let-down, they can't be trusted, treat their customers badly, no sense of responsibility.

Bought the oriental takeway as an ease of the bone tea as we had been very busy all day. I spent 30 mins getting up and down to keep adding things to the oven. After the cooking time 2 products had burnt to the bottom of trays and the taste of all the dishes was extremely poor. The prawn crackers were disgusting.
