SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. “The SAMi cam has been a godsend to us so far. My biggest fear is not being able to watch over our son at night. Nocturnal seizures are one of my biggest fears. The SAMi cam has given me a sense of peace to know that I’ll be alerted for any reason!”

“We were introduced to Sami through the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation. Because of the generosity of donors and their passion for safe sleep in Epilepsy, we were granted a monitoring system. We have not required customer service since our initial inquiry about the camera being a good fit for our situation, but at that time, they were very helpful and quick to reply. I applaud their innovation and commitment to this quality product that assists in safety for concerned families.”

“Honestly I could not be anymore satisfied with this camera. I was so paranoid before it and my normal baby monitor would alarm me to every movement my brother who has special needs. The Sami camera is a million times better. He shifts position a lot during sleep and Sami is intelligent motion detector . Worth every penny for the peace of mind. I’ve sleep so well since Sami.”

“This camera helps us sleep at night. We are so happy our doctor had mentioned it and we went ahead and ordered it right away. Receiving a diagnosis is very difficult but having this camera watch your child at night and record any possible movements is a game changer. We highly recommend it!”

“I want to give a shout out to their customer service team. I had ordered the camera stand and the package was really damaged during shipment. The box was torn open and apart and taped closed. There were pieces missing from inside the box due to this. This was no fault of SAMi, but from damage through UPS which was irritating. I reached out to SAMi and their customer service was super fast and incredible. They gave me coupon codes for free shipping and full payment for the stand to re order a new one. I ordered it late last night, and I already received an email today stating that my package has shipped. Customer service was quick, prompt, and very kind. I cannot wait to get the stand”

“We got our complete system with Sami Camera, router and iPad yesterday. It was a super easy right out of the box set up in minutes! We are using the camera in our daughters room at night. She is 18, nonverbal autistic with night time grand mal seizures (about 4 each month). This device is wonderful and I would highly recommend!! On the first night it alarmed us that she had sat up in her bed. We love it already!!! Best purchase ever!!”

“We have only had our SAMi for a little over a week but it is a game changer. My 3 year old son has focal seizures in his sleep with very minimal movement. The alarm is very customizable and the picture is excellent. SAMi picks up even the smallest movements and records so we can ensure seizures aren’t being missed. I got the first full night of sleep in my own bed in over 4 months thanks to our new SAMi camera!”

“We are very thankful and grateful to have this system. It has allowed us to move our tween daughter back into her bedroom and still monitor her safely. The camera is very clear and picks up all motion in great detail (red outlines are a great feature) which is good becuase her seizures were often more subtle than most. As a software developer myself, I really appreciate the iPad mobile app's design and functionality. It is a great example of a purpose-built application for piece of hardware. Everything is laid out in a logical manner from a monitoring perspective as well as when reviewing and managing the recordings. There are a ton of configuration options as well so you can fine-tune the sensitivity of recordings, schedules, camera settings, etc. This was really well executed and has been an important part of us returning to normalcy.”
