“Didn't receive a release code so couldn't retrieve my parcel from Collect+ depot. Initial response to saveonlaptops web query not very helpful but follow-up to 2nd email much more useful and sorted an issue in minutes that Collect+ suggested would require the return and re-send of the parcel. Shouldn't have had to send more than one email though (or any, for that matter, but I've no idea whether the initial fault was with Collect+/Yodel or saveonlaptops/Box). Case for laptop offered during the check-out process was too small but by then I'd lost the will to live and didn't have the time or will to return it.”

“After placing an order for a new laptop everything went smoothly. The same day I received notification that it had been despatched and I would receive within four days. I gave a little leeway due to the weekend but on the sixth day I contacted them only to be told that the laptop had never been despatched and was actually out of stock, web site had said stock level was 20+. Why was I not told or contacted ? Received a short apology and told money would be credited within 48 hours having had it for over a week. what system/procedure allows this to happen..”

Dear Customer, After reading your review and looking through your order with ourselves. We would like to apologise. It seems there was a stock count error in our external warehouse and the unit you ordered is obsolete. Due to the stock count error this is the reason it showed in stock via our website. With the dispatch email being sent in error this caused the order to not have flagged up on our side and was missed. We are looking at ways to improve are stock takes in order to ensure this does not happen in the future. I can see that you have placed another order with ourselves which we are grateful for. As a gesture of good will I will be refunding the delivery charge and also forwarding your tracking details via email. Once again I do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. “Ordered Lenovo Y50 70, best price online, delivered by DPD next day, no problem. If you buy this Laptop, upgrade the Hard Drive to a Samsung 840 EVO SSD, you will not believe the improvement, boots up in less than 10 sec!”

“Good price and good service. Only slight disappointment was Parcel Force was used instead of DPD. DPD always give an hours' delivery slot. Parcel Force do not.”

“Quick and simple in terms of both model selection and purchasing, I give the whole service 4 stars as its too early to tell yet if I will encounter any problems 6 months in from date of purchase and how any issues might be solved, but for now everything is really good! Great machine too! Save on Laptops offers some great deals and are well worth doing business with if you want to save a little bit of money.”
