A year later, the main drive has failed. Can you advise on compensation, please

The lap top became faulty possibly through a bad download of windows 10, in so much that the control panel item is not available. Boot up is very slow, in addition screen continually freezes. All in all a bad experience, which has been worsened by the lack of contact after two phone calls to your sales line requesting further help from your returns team over queries I have. So much so that as i am within the 30 day period since purchase, that I will be insisting on a full refund of my payment.

Speedy delivery until the item arrives DOA (dead on arrival) then they expect you to contact the manufacturer and liaise with them direct ( ignoring Consumer Rights Act 2015 ) Manufacturer agree the item is faulty (broken display vertical lines) we then arrange a RMA with saveonlaptops with the manufacturers code and await return shipping at which point they say the original packaging isn't suitable to return the item in! over a week has passed and still no working laptop or apology or refund. i would class this service as very poor. PRICE ISNT EVERYTHING..

Still waiting for the order dispatched 20/02/2018. Sent in 2 separate deliveries, which wasn't mentioned and received only one. More anticipated item without tracking number or delivery company name. Flagged up broken intercom, been waiting now 2 days for a tracking number, delivery most likely will go back to the sender and will create only more issues. Poor help with resolving a problem.

The parcel was delivered at the 3rd attempt. At the first time, i never heard about the order and three days later i found out that i had refused it. The truth is that i never got see it. Then, i was promissed to deliver it again. I cancelled all my meeting and spent the whole day waiting the delivery just to receive an SMS that none was at home.

was not made clear that £550 laptop did not come with a hard drive!!! a 128ssd was listed but this is normally an addition to a HDD(on several sites only listed in detail spec section) this is the first time i've found one with such a small SSD without. after booting it up, the free harddrive space has a pitiful 44GB of free space which is to small to install a single (newer generation) game!! rendering the whole thing completely useless!!! meaning this by definition can not be a gaming laptop as advertised as you cannot install modern games!!! its worth a noting that this problem of unclear data storage labelling had been made clear on the website for these MSI gaming laptops. as of this review (just wish it was made clear a week early. clearly i'm not the first person with this issue

Bought a Lenovo S.A.which according to Lenovo (when contacted for set up advice)carried a serial number allocated to China. This explained why the package received contained two keyboards and two mice as well as two power cables (the extra items being of the non British variety) The provenance of the computer had been questioned before ordering. Assurances had been received from the sales dept. The added keyboard appears to be faulty-- on wake up the first keystrike will not work. minor fault but major nuisance. Rang Saveonlaptops who were totally unhelpful even to the point of being dismissive and rejecting any liability for help and responsibility, even though in this instance it must be assumed that they were the "re-packers" of the extra British items. Conclusion must be--If you can only afford cheap gear, you can get it here, but don't be stupid enough to think that is where it finishes because after sales service is pathetic.

Laptop arrived DOD. I paid for next day delivery as i wanted to take on holiday. The RMA at save on laptops is online only so i cant talk to anyone to help speed things up. Not good when purchasing a £1500 laptop

The parcel arrived two days after I've placed the order, which is great, but as far as I am aware, I've ordered a new product. The package was unsealed, it just some scotch on it. The original seal from ASUS was broken. The backpack wasn't in a bag or something like that. The headphones were full of dust, which in my opinion shouldn't be as they were brand new, and also the seal of the mouse was opened. I've sent you an email and you've confirmed that is a new product, not a used one. Then why are the products used? The laptop itself was full of fingerprints and used. This is unacceptable!

I ordered a laptop that had been upgraded from 8 to 16 gb of ram, but it had multiple faults and clearly had not been tested. It had a faulty fan and a dodgy screen that kept flashing/changing colours. The only way to contact Save on Laptops about this is via email, their calls are sales related only and they have no live chat (Although I later found out Box.co.uk is the same company and they DO have live chat which I used). I had to wait quite a long time for the laptop to arrive only for it to be faulty. I then had to send it back for testing, waiting even longer without my money in my account and no laptop, for them to finally confirm the fault and tell me they'll offer me a refund, but I am still now waiting for the money to come back into my account after over 3 weeks of messing around. The laptop came with a free MSI backpack and mouse bundle, but they told me to send that back too, the least they could have done is let me keep it for the trouble, I've been waiting just under a month without my money or a laptop. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the prices are competitive.

I had ordered the laptop to take on holiday as it was lighter than my old laptop. It arrived the day I left so I just unpacked it and took it with me. But it would not charge and I had to get another plug in order to use it, not a simple matter when on holiday in a non-english speaking country and where access to the necessary shop was not available. When turned off for a few days it still looses all its battery charge which makes it unusable for much of the requirements I intended having it for - charging it fully and then using it for short times without having to plug it in to charge. It also has a static black spot on the screen - presumably a faulty pixel. I only returned from holiday yesterday and with the problems with the laptop I did not have the opportunity to contact you when I was out of the UK. Also with the above problems I have not had the chance to check the connectivity of the laptop. It was virtually unusable for the duration of my holiday.

Two purchases- first was supplied without an optical drive, despite spec listing. Second order has been lost in transit. I need this laptop urgently to operate efficiently at work. On the plus side- my communications with Save on Laptops have been good.

Shipping is fast and they are very quick to take your money, but when things dont go to plan for what ever reason, even if they have sent you faulty or goods that are not described expect them to be to be slow at response and likely will expect you to pay to have it sent back even when you have just received it. They will argue the toss with you and you wont get to speak to 'the manager' and your emails will be ignored. Present themselves as a big company in reality its 1 office with a few staff and see there customer service as pain in the rear, better off at one of the other big retailers!

The delivery time was ok, after 2 weeks my laptop sound started being problematic I started checking my guarantee and realised that the guarantee tape was kinda ripped off a bit(obviously not by me!). Now I do not know if I can use my guarantee. Imagine yourself in my position after spending 1500 approximately to buy a new laptop, two weeks after having a major issue with the sound and probably out of guarantee. Extremely bad service experience.

Package arrived with bag torn wide open and security tag on 1 of the boxes was clearly opened prior to its arrival due to security tag being broken.
