“This kilt is well designed with excellent weight and craftsmanship. While the Clan tartan is fundamentally correct the colors are more vibrant than what is traditional. I understand dye-making can create a variance in the appearances this makes it awkward when combining accessories such as preowned sashes. I have Clan tartan from four different kilt-makers and I admit they all have variance in vibrancy from each other. Considering the quality of the kilt purchased from ScottishKilt I would recommend one purchase their entire kit from this manufacturer to ensure quality and matching of pieces.”

“They had my order all messed up, I ordered a full Prince charlie outfit, the scarf/sash was too short, the waistcoat was too small, and the buttons didn't match the jacket the waistcoat had gold buttons and the jacket had silver buttons, it was also too small ( I couldn't even button the waistcoat up )the belt they sent was a 34, the kilt was a 38 ??? I had to go to a wedding half-dressed because they had messed up the whole thing for me, thanks Scottish Kilt, I couldn't send anything back because it would have taken too long to right the wrongs, shitty service, and they don't pay attention to the measurements you give them, feels like the whole thing is just thrown together!!!!”

“Ordered an bagpipe, still waiting for it. Said it would take 2-3 weeks. Only been about a week and a half. They asked for a review of an item I haven’t gotten yet so here it is. Hopefully it’s good.”

“Incredibly beautiful kilt wonderful craftsmanship absolutely love it. The sizes however are exact so be sure to order a little big. Need to get new models these guys don't look like they could pick up a rake.”

“I was excited to finally see my purchase! I like the fabric, though it is a little heavier than I thought. It was easy to order & they let me know that some tartans they were out of so I gave them new tartans to replace the ones they were out of. What didn't sit well with me though was that I was short 4 yards of material that I paid for. I should have had 32 yards of material but only received 28 yards. I don't like paying for 4 yards that I did not receive.”

“Simply gorgeous! I struggled to find the clan Cameron tartan in a kilt, so I ordered one from Scottish kilt and the whole process was seamless and simple! I followed the directions, measured my body and submitted what I wanted to the experts. They were communicative, and kept me up to date. And when I opened my kilt, I was in love! Gorgeous pattern, nice heavy weight fabric and a perfect fit! I will always order from them from now on!”

“I've never written a review for clothing before, but oh laddie, my Scottish Kilt kit was INCREDIBLE! I found their website while searching for a kilt for my daughter's wedding. Having worn a full-blown kilt uniform in my marching band all through college, I knew what I was looking for. The place recommended by some folks in the wedding charged upwards of $1,000 for just the kilt in our family's tartan colors. Scottish Kilt's price was $49. Okay, sure, there was no way the quality would be decent, right? THE QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING!! Then, because it was so inexpensive, I added on a sporran, hat, ghillie shirt, hose, flashes, fly plaid, a matching Covid mask and even extra fabric in case we wanted to outfit a random grandbaby. In order to tailor it all perfectly, they had me give all kinds of different measurements I'd never heard of. The grand total, was well under $200!!! So cut to me waiting for my order. I joked with my daughter that it was likely poor quality, wear-it-once as a lark and toss it all afterward. Scottish Kilt sent me order updates and tracking information throughout the whole process. Och aye! My kilt kit arrived, I put it all on and was AMAZED at the quality, fit and — dare I say — how good it looked on me?! The fabric in my family's tartan is high quality, long-lasting and every piece, from the sporran to the flashes to the shirt collar to even the mask were in matching colors and expertly crafted. This outfit is an instant heirloom. I can't say enough about Scottish Kilt (though it seems I'm trying to in this review). My daughter is sending out the link to folks involved in her wedding now, as am I. If you're kilt-curious, please trust these people. You'll be well-appointed, not disappointed.”
