“Good quality track and CDG.Good choice. Shame there is a minimum £5 spend as sometimes I might just want one track.”

“Dear selectatrack, Just an observation, what would be extremely helpful when making selections would be when being able to actually sound sample a track by pressing the speaker symbol, that the sample was at the start of the track, enabling one to select which version I. e. Zoom, Sunfly etc. suits your voice e.g. which key. Also some versions have a cursor intro I.e. ***** . A track I recently purchased from you had said intro enabling me to do it justice at our local pub karaoke, Their version did not, so that every attempt I'd previously made was awful. Yours tunefully, Andy Kester.”

Hi, thanks for the review and your custom. Due to licensing laws we are only allowed to show 30 second samples of tracks, and we don't use the start of the track because often there are long introductions in songs, so a 30 second section from the middle of a song is usually a better way of hearing how a track sounds. Most karaoke labels do use a count in, for example I think most of the UK companies will use count ins where possible (Mr Entertainer, Zoom, SBI, Sunfly). Thanks, Jack.

“I find the downloading very easy, some of the functions to find the music or artist could be improved. When reviewing the short clip, I don't like having to listen to the breaks when I want to view the lyrics. The pricing is a little high would be nice if there was an offer of free songs after some many ordered. I also find some of the music I am looking for on other sites which is sometimes annoying having to go to different sites for the music I am looking for.”

“Generally good. Good library.Would buy more if not required to buy 3 tracks. I know you can buy credit and not have to buy 3,but not always happy to put my money in your bank account. Wonder why you stopped stocking my favourite label.I think it was " Top Tunes". I don't do karaoke and don't require a 10 and up to 15 seconds delay. Top Tunes did'nt do this.I have to edit that time delay out.Otherwise your selection is very good.Can you explain what exactly "fade out" is.Is this the sound fading at the end, or is this just an empty gap at the end.”

“My Phonic mixer arrived when I was told it would. It was a very good price, and as I have been using Phonic for a long time thought it was well worth trying. I was not disappointed. I will be using it for disco, karaoke and solo vocal work. Very pleased.”

“I would definitely use the service again most of the songs were excelent but I suggest that everyone listens to the sample track before downloading as I had one with the wrong lyrics and some others were someone was singing the lead which rather defeats the object”

“Excellent service. I'm guessing that if you dont have it then it probaby dont exist! However, it is a pain that you have to buyat least 3 songs (£6) at a time because if i get a request I have to buy 2 other songs that i probably dont need.If you have to charge £6 a time maybe a credit system perhaps? Because of this i dont use your service as often as i would like.”

“This is the 2nd time I have purchased tracks from SelectaTrack. What I love about them is 1. they have a very large selection 2. you can listen to part of a track before you buy (& compare recordings between karaoke companies b/c versions vary a lot 3. you can get your tracks immediately by downloading 4. they have good customer support. The only thing I didn't like (and I am not sure if this was my fault, not theirs), of the 7 or 8 songs I bought, when I played them the word track was not in sync with the music track. It was very hard to follow while singing b/c the words appeared a measure or two off the music. Like I said, I don't know for sure if this was their fault or mine, but I wonder because the rest of the tracks I downloaded and extracted at the same time were fine.”

“Not enough of the oldies and sometimes I can't get songs i want and contacting you is very hard, also the listening time is a bit short, sometimes I only hear the instrumental in the centre. On the good side, I think you're prices are fair and delivery is great. If these things were changed you would get a very good and even a great, ( if it had a star ). Regards, Brian.”

Hi, thanks for shopping with us and for the review. Just to respond to a couple of your points. We have the largest legal karaoke content offering in the world, but I'm afraid there are always going to be songs customers would like that we don't. If you let us know what tracks you would like we will pass this on to our suppliers for consideration for production, however they receive a very large amount of requests so it is rare for a request to get made. If you would like us to quote you to have a track custom made we can do that, but it's very expensive. “Great selection of songs and good quality, I downloaded songs quickly and easily, It would be better if the free player came with key changer and also if you received free bonus tracks for (say) every 10 tracks you purchased. Would certainly recommend to friends and will be buying more in the future.”

Just a quick reply to a couple of your point, the Karaoke Builder software we recommend does actually have a keychanger, if you click the settings icon you can change the key. We don;t have a rewards program, but we do have the ability to purchase store credit in bulk, which offers the same financial benefits as a rewards program, the larger credit pack you buy the greater the discount. “With a great choice of versions from various artists I was able to choose the bets tunes to suit my voice. I would have given 5 stars but took one star away because one or two of the songs had rather careless spelling mistakes and wrong words which could throw you if you didn't know the original words.”

Unfortunately lyrics can sometimes be wrong, we are simply re-sellers for the karaoke labels so it;s down to them to get the lyrics right.
