“This was the third Hyundai i30 that we have purchased from Petch; also, we have had a Hyundai Tucson from them in the past. We ar ealways satisfied with the level of customer service and have never had cause for complaint. When purchasing our latest i30, we received a phonecall from the salesman to explain that there was going to be a delay in obtaining our chosen colour but if we would consider another colour, one was available immediately as it was in stcok at the showrooms; we decided to accept the alternative colour (blue) and we were able to collect it on a convenient day/time. It is proving very good.”

“From initial contact to Les Rudd via telephone through to my purchase of a new Kia Cee'd GT I have been extremely impressed with the excellent level of customer service from Les in Richmond, with good support from his boss Byron. A great atmosphere when I walked into the showroom, no pressure, no hassle, just good old fashioned customer service (and excellent fresh coffee)! I was undecided on which car (originally a Ford Focus ST3) between the Sportage and the Cee'd GT, Les was very good in listening to me and sussing out my car preferences which resulted in me going for the Cee'd GT. At this point I have to mention Charlotte from SG Petch Darlington who originally persuaded me to look at KIA,thank you Charlotte. The car is fantastic, way better than I thought it would be and definitely the right choice. I also received a follow up courtesy call from Les to ensure all was ok with the car (it was and still is), agin, good customer service. To sum up, SG Petch is an excellent place to go if you fancy no pressure car viewing, they do a mean fresh coffee and listen to what their customers are looking for and they go out of their way to help you find what you want. Excellent company, great customer service. SG Petch, Les and team, WELL DONE and thank you.”

“My first experience with SG Petch and hopefully there will be many more, from my first contact with the dealership to the day I collected my new car I can't fault the service, absolutely first class I was delighted to be invited to the launch of the new MX5 and subsequently the test drive that followed with a Mazda UK demo driver at the dealership ( it really made me very impressed with the professionalism of Mazda ) so much so I made an order So the handover was organised to perfection and I was fortunate to take up the offer of 7 days free insurance from Mazda which I extended for a year after been offered an extremely good quote on a 12 month basis I rate SG Petch very highly and would recommend them to all I know to purchase a car but sorry to say not have a service plan with My only negative comment is that the 3 year service plan I requested could not be matched by SG Petch to another Mazda dealership local to me I am very disappointed on this point as I would have preferred to have continued my association with SG Petch through servicing/warranty work and any repair work I may have required I have purposely held back in committing to purchasing a service plan from a competitor in the hope that SG Petch would contact me with a matching offer but fear I will not hear from their service department within the next seven dayside”

“Got a great deal from the Kia sales team. I have dealt with SG Petch for several years having had a Kia Sportage since 2010 and always found the staff very helpful. When we purchased our Kia Ceed we were very impressed with the car, however we were disappointed to find the vehicle did not have park assist, as we were under the impression when discussing the model we chose that it had it along with other extras such as heated seats, steering wheel etc We thought we had purchased a higher specification car than we bought Apart from that we are very please with what we bought”

“At a very sad and traumatic time i went to change my car the whole experience was wonderful. My needs for a smaller car were met with advice and help by very professional people. I would recommend SG Petch to everyone no matter what your age old or young they seem to be able to recommend a car. Thank you all very very much.”

“I went to the garage to view a car as I had been looking online, from walking in to picking up my car the experience was great. It was not a typical car sales garage! I asked the first gentleman if there were any cars available in my price range, he immediately got a list of all available cars, asked me what colour, age etc I wanted. He then passed me over to Tony Hill who was excellent. He showed me used options and then suggested a price for a brand new model in which I weighed the pros and cons as it was slightly over my budget. The follow up service was great as I asked them to hold my car for 2 weeks before collecting. I would highly recommend the garage based on the service I received, all staff were pleasant and friendly and treat you as a person rather than commission.”

“Excellent service at all stages. No hard selling but considered information to enable me to make a decision between 'old' sportage and new model. George, the sales rep and his boss Ian were the staff I did business with and I can't fault their friendly and professional attitude towards customers. I am delighted with my new Sportage GT line. The quality and specification are v good for the price and the car is all I could have wished for. Thanks to SG Petch.”

“Very excited about our car purchase, little disappointed about the promised valet on the car, we did point out some issues when we saw it first time. Took the edge off the purchase when showing off to a relative, who also pointed out the marks. The salesman did apologise when he dropped off the car manual and service book ( which had gone MISSING) I know the garage was very busy on the day we collected the car, but,”

“We were very happy with the service we received by all the staff on the Mazda department. Very knowledgeable. Most important for us was that it was not high pressure salesmanship. It is our third Mazda and not our last!”
